Must Have Software - Brilliant!

Very happy with this gem. Intuitive, clever and capable. Importing and keeping commonly used files is a breeze and an excellent work around to iOS limitations. Apple needs to catch up to this developer in that regard. Scaling and dimensioning is easy, although the ability to pull the call-out box from the item being measured would be a welcome addition. Well worth the $25 for the full application. Bravo!

Been looking for this for a long time!

I'm a consulting engineer, and I've been looking for an app like this for a long time, on whatever operating system. The easy dimension lines and ruler alone are super useful for me. The rest of the 2-d drawing is similar to other apps, and has more than enough features for me. I like how you can blend rough sketches with precision lines and shapes in layers. I don't currently do perspective drawing but I might start now! The free version is generous and lets you really figure out if it's for you. I purchased the full everything, even though I don't need the color pack. I want to support development, and anyway it's literally 1/100 of a similar PC software package. Go through the Vimeo tutorials to get the hang of things. (Never mind the typos :-) Highly, highly recommended.

Working out really well

I am really enjoying how things are coming together with Archisketch. I needed an app that would allow me to create a drafted plan on top of a pdf background. The layers system works really well, and I am beginning to use the symbols library and create my own for re-use.The learning curve was a bit bumpy but with some time it is really working for me and I’m enjoying the drawing process. The video tutorials do not always provide the info I need BUT the email support has been amazing. I was on a deadline, kept running into problems that I could not solve and sent an email, I had a clear response within 1/2 hr. And when I thought my drawing had disappeared, they had me send the file and as it turned out, all was well. I continue to send emails with questions and really appreciate how responsive they are!I am still learning ways to use Archisketch, it has been worth the effort and patience.

The Best

I’ve downloaded and experimented with others - SketchBook, Arrette, Procreate, Concepts, Morpholio, Adobe - and they all have excellent capabilities. However, Archisketch has a more complete assortment of the tools I need for landscape design drawing, in one place, than the others. It is highly intuitive for a new user and the help screens linked to subject videos are the best instructional feature among all the apps I’ve used. 90% of all my questions, as a new user, have been anticipated by the developers in the help screens and linked videos. The other 10% are thoughtfully addressed by tech support (thank-you Reza).I may continue to export my drawings to other apps for special added effects, but the more I dig into this app the more I discover it can do, and the less I need to look elsewhere. This review from a senior now transitioning to digital drawing after 35 years in the the world of paper, pencil, pens and brushes.

Excellent software for free hand

I have only used this program for free hand architectural drawings and I can say that it has freed me from paper and pencil. The latest version has improved the overall performance and usability of the tools. The developer is very responsive. The video tutorials are extremely helpful and are usually sent in response to your inquiry from the developer.

Hidden Gem for real estate developers & managers

Stumbled on this App after far to long a time using a hodge podge of creative apps. It has been saving me many hours each month conceptualizing and iterating property layouts. I use layers to quickly compare potential layouts. Also great for creating exhibits! Great price for the value provided and I am happy to give a review so other people can hopefully discover as I did.

Archisketch is a complete App for drawing and very easy to use.You can draw lines, circles, polygons, different layers, change color to lines, select, resize, grids, one point, two point perspective. And one great thing, you don’t need an expensive subscriptions like others. This is a complete drawing App and easy to learn and is getting better with updates, simply great

Not Robust Enough🤷🏽‍♂️

Very nice app. Intends to do exactly what I need it to do. The only issue I’m having is that it freezes whenever I’m trying to “duplicate” multiple objects at the same time. I keep having to close the app and reopen it. I waited about 20 mins the last time it froze and it never unfroze. Perhaps it’s bogged down by too many elements??… That is unfortunate since I’m not even halfway done with my drawing. (I have a fairly new [2022] iPad Pro and I have closed all other apps, I have other more robust apps (SketchUp) that work well on my iPad too so I don’t think it’s an issue with my iPads processing power…) Starting to regret the $18 I spent!!😔

Pretty good except....

I got this app to make site measures more efficient. I love that I can actually read my notes now! However, when I try to send myself a drawing the "send" button is grayed out and I cannot hit send. I even tried to send a message to the help team and that didn't work either. Kindof a bummer since that is an advertised feature that I'd like to use. Overall is a pretty good app, but definitely took some practice to get used to.

Good Start but Needs More Development

Lots of good and useful tools for architects but needs some more work to make it a truly useful, must-have app for architects. 1. Documentation of features is very weak, limited to some brief tutorials. I have to figure out how to use some features/tools not covered in tutorial by trial and error. Some tools such as how to get consistently sized text I still haven’t figured out. 2. Support is non-existent. 3. Desperately needs a Cut-and-Paste Tool to select a portion of a drawing or a group and copy it to another drawing. That one tool can change this app from pretty good to a “must have” app. There is a duplicate tool, but that doesn’t use the clipboard to copy to another drawing or app.4. Needs to import PDFs. I don’t understand this shortcoming because the app can export in PDF format. It only can import JPEGs. 5. It has some built in objects to use in drawings. Personally I wouldn’t use any of them but I’d really like the ability to create my own objects to add my own objects to the menu to use in other drawings. 6. Finally on the apps website it sounds like you can add the optional extra feature package after purchasing the base app. This is incorrect, you only have the option in the App Store to purchase the base app or the app with options features. You can’t add the optional features once you purchased the base app. I recommend purchasing the app with optional features.
