Doesn’t send push notifications whatsoever. No idea why or how to fix as it’s still hooked up to my UI account and I can login via 2FA. Completely useless at this point. Lots of reports in the forums of this happening as well. No help from UI on supporting anyone however.
Please enable push notifications instead of having to search for the app and open it, waiting for the notification to appear.
Very nice product.
So the iOS app works flawlessly, can’t say the same about the AppleWatch app - it literally does NOTHING when trying to confirm that it’s me trying to access my Controller.
There no help on how to use this app
App is a bit obnoxious. I don't need a SECOND push notification (with a loud sound) right after the first one, just to tell me that I logged in successfully! Also, the notifications should clear automatically after success. Instead they just pile up in your notification center and have to be deleted manually. Overall makes logging in take 6-7 clicks instead of the 1-2 that it should be.Please use Microsoft Authenticator as an example of a well designed MFA app and try to emulate that.
This app shouldn't exist. It doesn't need to exist. 2FA is a solved problem and we already have the tools. This all is superfluous and does not solve the existing 2FA problems with Unifi's implementation, like how the app. This app's existence at all shows how terribly lost the Unifi is at optimally utilizing their own engineering resources. Rather than fix the numerous bugs, inconsistencies, and points of frustration in Unifi Network and Unifi Protect mobile and web apps, they're here making this pointless app.My advice to all: Avoid the Unifi ecosystem. Return your hardware while you can.
This app lost the accounts I added previously when it updated. It will not let me add any accounts. It’s in an endless loop of asking for two factor Id between apps. Basically the upgrade made it useless. I wish Ubiquiti would just send the people home that mess with the app and leave it alone.
So far so good. Dark mode please. Thanks
Would be nice if it actually worked. When you go to profile and try to add it, you get “these features will be released in a future update”
Verify gives your accounts an additional layer of security by requiring two-factor authentication (2FA) of each login attempt. With this feature enabled, users will need to provide their password and a time-sensitive verification code generated either in the app or via push notification. Verify can also supply users with a set of single-use passwords that can be stored locally on their phones should they ever need to circumvent an issue with their main 2FA method.
