Only one I need

I’ve been using this app for years. I mean I do t know how long. 6 or 7 at least. It was free and the developer has this pop up asking for a review and I always ignore it but this time I thought, man, this has helped me so many times I really owe it to them. I am a dairy and pork farmer. I use this app to estimate breeding and gestational periods. Using the knowledge of animal breeding and days to labor you can calculate time periods that you should be expecting them to breed or drop babies.

NOT for Pilots! DON’T buy it until it is fixed.

This app is not for pilots. We need to add multiple flights together and produce total hours and minutes.This app will not do this. If you want to add three series of flights together such as 21:48 + 18:33 + 9:19 = 49:40. This app will only add two of these trips together. When you do this you get a product in DAYS, Hours & Minutes. If you want to add three times you need to write down the product of the first two times then input this time and add the third time. The product of these times is again produced in DAYS, Hours & Minutes. This is totally in adequate for pilots who are trying to add total hours and minutes together and DON’T want them converted to days, hours & minutes.The input method is clumsy too. In order to input 21:48 + 18:33 you need to first select the hours field then input 21, then select the minutes field and input 48, then select the next hours field and input 18 and finally select another minutes field and input 33. When all of that is done you get a product that is in DAYS, hours and minutes and hopefully you don’t need to add any other times because the process will need to start all over again.This app needs to have a “lite” version so you can see the manner in which the app works before you commit to purchasing it.

Great!

Thank you for developing a time and date calculator that does everything I need and then some. I work in a laboratory, and I regularly need to add time, usually in hours, to a given date and time. For example, I might need to calculate when to take my samples out if I put them in tomorrow at 8 am, and the testing time is 3000 hours. I've looked at dozens of apps, and this is the only one I've found that can do this. And it even accounts for daylight savings time.

Just The Thing

As a writer, I'm always in the market for apps that can provide the one thing or two that you just don't realize would be handy until you see it. In terms of my writing life, this app is a fantastic tool for fact-preparation or even fiction brainstorming - and in terms of being just another dude with an iPad...well, it's simply wickedly cool. I know, I know...you're sayin' to yourself right now: "What would I really need this for?" Trust me...if you think you don't want this utility...just try it. You'll find out. This is one of about three apps I've ever used/owned/experienced that compelled me to MAKE A POINT of contacting people I know to see if they had heard about it yet. Kudos to the developer. Seriously.

Interesting and Useful

Downloaded as a freebie. I work in a hospital as a case manager. Close to 100% of use will be devoted to adding days to current or a recent date. Spot on. The interface is on two levels. I like the type of menu selection scheme the developer chose. No mistaking what you want. Once in the calculator, it is equally clean in design and clear in purpose. I'd like to see a "Done" button on the number board to close. Touching off the keyboard accomplishes the same. Notwithstanding, I'd prefer a close and commit key. I certainly won't remove a star in the rating because of my quirky preference. This app is updated and improvements are likely to keep coming. That means this "Time Machine" will be sitting next to my computer at work. Good job.

Deadlines are my life!

I really like the app. I am a child protective investigator for the state of Florida and am held to a number of different deadlines in each of my cases. This app easily lets me determine what days each of my case deadlines falls in by simply inputting the date the case came in. I can find what the date and time is 2 days, 14 days, 28, 30, 50, 55 and 60 days. I need to explore the app further but I would love to see if I can create templates for timeframes and have the app coordinate with my calendar to send me alerts and reminders... It may be there.. I need to research further. Love the app! MW

Great beginning

This app is very similar to another app that I used to calculate date and time differences. That app was discontinued and the functionality of this app is the closest I’ve found so far. The main difference is look and ease of use. The other app looked like a calculator and all the functions are buttons on the calculator. It was very easy to calculate the date and time of 1,000 hours later or subtracting 1 date from another to get to the difference in time. This app is so close, and so far, the best I’ve found.

Good, could be better

Very useful. As a pilot adding up hours in a log book it would be much more useful if one could add a list of hours and minutes and get a sum expressed in hours and minutes. I imagine this would also be useful for truck drivers and such. Workers creating an employment log need to add many hours and minutes and arrive at a sum expressed in the same terms. A very clever app, hopefully in evolution to a more useful one. Still very helpful as it is.

Almost perfect

Fantastic app. The only things I'd like to see is being able to convert the number of hours to days on the travel distance sheet. I'd also like to see calculations saved in sessions so I don't have to scribble down on paper the results of the calculations. I'd also like to see more conversion options on the birthday tab. I think we could really benefit if we could get milliseconds in general as a conversion option as well. The more exacting the different modes of calculating time and length would go a long way to making this app the best on the market.

Excellent Time Management App.

Time management is a very important skill to have on the day to day, and this is one of the apps that helps me along the way. I consider this to be one of those “tools you never knew you needed until you see it”. I use this mainly for delegating my minutes and hours and help me stick to a schedule, but it can be used for many other purposes, I’d imagine. The layout is nice and it’s fairly simple to use. The iPhone X support is also promising because it means the developer will likely be updating the app and maybe adding new features in the future. I certainly hope so. It’s well worth the .99 cents.
