Requires an update

I like the game, but I find the app way too busy. Too much movement and visual noise in the background. The extra theme in the app does little to enhance gameplay; I think it detracts from it, actually. Most significantly, games against the hard AI are unplayable because the “pass” option (a crucial element of the game) disappears after the first move.Lastly, I question whether the medium AI is actually a “medium” difficulty. I’ve played roughly 2 dozen games against it and won 3 or 4. (It’s entirely possible that I’m just a cruddy Patchwork player, though!)

Really fun, would love a simpler theme

It’s really fun! No, bugs as I can see. You guys did a really good job bringing this game to mobile/iPad. My only dislike is there’s a lot going on; All the quilling on the background, and on the board can be a bit to much (for me.) I’d love a more simple theme available, like a wooden table look or something, a little less crazy.

Asmodee does good adaptations and then forgets about them

Love this game, and the adaptation is solid. Technically, there are bugs, loading online games is terrible, the menu interface is also terrible, and support for newer phones is terrible. I put up with it and play because the alternative is find time when my wife can sit down and play a whole game at once and then manage all the pieces by hand (not to mention the score calculations).

“Hard” is supposed to be “Hard”... but...

The AI is developed in a way that requires you to go first. The pieces are then strategically set w “traps” that the AI uses to its advantage. (Ex. Game starts w three pieces that all cost 3+ buttons and or take 5 turns, followed “conveniently” by three pieces of low cost and low moves.)Once you start to learn to look out for this, you can skip your turn (to force the AI to select a piece)... but then the AI skips their turn, you skip yours... repetitive loop until you get halfway across the board skipping turns and the AI has the algorithm of finally knowing it can grab a piece and force things along.I’m all about the challenge and the AI being super tough- but the strategic piece placement forcing you to just skip turns for half the game... pretty lame.

Simple and confusing

So the tutorial for this game is just not good so I watched a how you play video online and once you understand the game it is simple. The game premise is a bit abstract. The app is great and takes so much of the accounting out of the picture you are free to just think.

Fun but lacks instructions

The game seem fun even though I am still not sure how to play (after completing the tutorial three or four times). I clicked on everything in the app but couldn't find the rules; rules might be a nice thing to have in a board game app. Some things that aren't clear:- I don't know when I'll get buttons to spend or why I'll get x number of buttons in a given turn. I'm always surprised when I don't have any buttons at the start of a turn.- Buttons get dropped into and removed from a piggy bank, not sure why a specific amount goes in or out.- There are three numbers at the bottom of the screen for each player. The left-most number is the number of empty squares, that much I've figured out. The other two (including one that's a negative number) I've no idea about. Clicking on the numbers doesn't bring up any sort of explanation. The tutorial is very light, some concepts are skipped or glossed over. Since this is a board game the rules are already written down, they just need to be adapted to the app. The game would be more fun if I knew what was going on. Ticket to Ride is a great app/board game and game play is clearly explained in the app, if you need an example of how to explain a game.

Brilliant game, excellent adaptation (with a few hiccups)

This game is deceptively elegant. Almost no chance involved, and no private information, means that your strategy can continue to evolve and level-up for a surprising amount of time. The app itself is good, albeit with a few nitpicks.•When replaying your opponent’s moves, their score for their whole turn(s) is added on the screen during the placement of their first piece, instead of incrementally during the placement of each piece. This is a small thing, but it has continued to annoy me because, 50 plays later, I’ve glanced at their score as the actions on-screen direct me there, and mentally updated their score, and then realized later I’d miscalculated because of the unintuitive order of operations. •Occasionally the place market glitches and its impossible to tell which pieces you can select from, or it won’t even allow a (valid) selection, and you have to kill and restart the app.•Occasionally I won’t receive notifications that it’s my turn.Nevertheless, the app is well worth the cost in terms of quality and replayability.

Great game

The game is very nice. I play at least 3 times a day!One problem: it sometimes LOCKS up....when you look far forwards in your turn! Only way to fix it is to pass.....or to keep moving the wheel forwards or backwards till it unlocks what is not always possible.

Hidden gem

I randomly found out about this game and love it. It’s honestly just a relaxing game. I admit I had to do the tutorial twice. It’s not really all that difficult to understand there are just quite a few moving parts to the game and I couldn’t figure out what the medium level Ai always had so many buttons!

Love it

Have been playing the table board game for a couple of years and this saves a lot of time and is easy to play. Only takes a couple of turns to get the hang if it. The graphics make it look like a kids game but it’s fun for all ages.
