Live feed
Mine worked great, 2 seconds delay . Range is about 10floors right above you. I love it.
DJI
I use the app with an iPhone and it works great. When it goes out of range it will start a new video clip but it keeps recording. I use it to also capture stills from video.Highly Recommend!!
Has major flaw
When the camera gets out of range it stops recording onto the SD card which is a major issue. You will lose much of your footage if you are in FPV mode. Otherwise it's ok.
Fc40 works great
Mine works great. I am real excited to use this when the winter breaks. I was even able to record my Phantom getting stuck in a tree.
Unusable
Since the new update OS 11, I can’t use the camera. It is now just an expensive paperweight. There are still many out here and it’s a shame they don’t work. We all don’t have the money to get new DJI Phantoms every time you put out a new one. Help us out and please update the FC40 app.
DJI is a horrible company
These guys can't get anything right. The app was made to "fix" a problem. This app is nothing but another display of how stupid these guys are. Who makes a product that cost over a thousand dollars and it doesn't work!!! These guys! DJI! I bought my phantom 1 week ago and have yet to get the camera to work. Customer support is nonexistent and no one has any answers. Don't buy one if you haven't and if you can return I would!!!
Horrible app
crashes, can't find it on the network half the time. Don't even want to go into the limited range it has. DON"T buy this garbage or their hardware!
Update to ios11 or later
This software needs to be updated to work on ios 11 or later. When will you do it???
Doesn't work!
I don't even know what this app will do. It won't even open. First it asked that o connect to WiFi. Did that, then it told me to go to Setting>WiFi>Camera. Really! I'll eat glass if anyone can tell me what the heck they're talking about!
Not so great
App crashes often and constantly loses connectivity, even when at close range.
