Simple list. Bad customer service

Good list app but some improvements could be made. I would suggest things or even ask this developer but apparently after I attempted to email to the email they give I had not even gotten a response to ANY of my concerns in over a month. I’ve had other apps and emailed issues and they were answered and fixed professionally almost immediately. I’m guessing either this developer is giving the wrong email to address concerns or just a lazy unprofessional app. developer. If you want a very simple list app then this is the one. If you want communication with developer for any reason DONT get this app. I’m actually looking for another list app so I can delete this one. Can’t wait!!

Amazing! But needs some improvement!

First off I absolutely love this app and the way the calendar works, super simple and easy to use without many things to worry about. I do however wish there was a better layout for the iPad ( I use it on my iPad & phone) and wished I could be able to have any calendar dates I’ve written on my phone Dawn app be TRANSFERED to my iPad automatically (unless there is a way) that way I’m not re writing the same tasks and appointments down twice. I love how the app is simple and works and plan to buy the lifetime subscription on my next pay day. It’s beautiful and I love it more than any other calendar apps I found, this one keeps me motivated to get things done, just hope we can have a better layout for iPad and to be able to have the apps transfer to one another if we use it on multiple devices. Thanks for a beautiful app

Best calendar widget so far

I was looking for a calendar widget for the longest time, struggling to balance between an easy user interface and a clean looking design. Thankfully, Dawn managed to find a perfect balance between the two! Well, almost. If I could rate Dawn 4.5 stars, I would, as I think this is an easy fix. While my favorite part of the app is its clean, minimalistic design, I think it could be improved with one slight change. Upcoming events are only displayed if they’re scheduled for the next day or the day of. I use this app for homework and personally, I always like to know the next assignment I have due, even if it’s a week out. I think this problem can be easily fixed, and would overall make this app the perfect calendar.

Love!

Now that widgets are becoming a serious thing for ios, I've been testing out which calendar app has the best widgets for my taste. I've been testing this one, Calendar and Google Calendar. This one by far has the best look and utility (for my taste).I also really really appreciate that I can set this app to light mode (bc I like the white background) and still keep the rest of my phone in dark mode. I really wish more apps had this option!!One thing that would make this app even better would be if after a certain time (maybe after 6pm or so, or after all your events for the day have passed), the widget can show the events for tomorrow. The ios Calendar widget does that which I find super useful, though overall I find that app too cluttery. I have the Dawn widgets on my first homescreen, so having tomorrows event outlined in the widget in the afternoon/evening hours really helps me prepare for the next day! Just a suggestion that I hope the developers will consider! ☺️

best calendar app, but the update gave it some bugs :(

i love dawn. i use it mostly as a to do list to make sure i've done all my chores, because compartementalizing my day helps me a lot and dawn is BY FAR the least stressful calendar/to do list app i've found for that! however, i think the recent update broke something? i'm no longer able to tap to mark tasks as "done", and some of my repeating reminders have migrated to days they shouldn't be on. it's a little stressful, because like i said, this is definitely the easiest app when it comes to making to do lists for me! so i'm really hoping it's just a bug from the update and not me... thank you for this app!!

one of the best apps to streamline systems and habits in my life

from the user experience, user interface, to even the haptics of the app when you check things off is absolutely incredible. everything about the app is intuitive makes sense you can type on text and edit it immediately rather than entering a new page to edit events like other calendar apps! are used on to streamline a lot of the systems and habits and routines in my life, and it has helped me build a solid morning, nighttime, and study routine on a daily basis. Thank you so much to the creators of this app, you really transformed my life.

Love the widget look but...

I downloaded this app for the widget, like most people, but I have also been using it as my main calendar because of the convenience... it’s a struggle to get thing right, I can’t tell you how many tries it took to get just my work schedule right... this app is so glitchy. I’ll go to add something and it will either show up multiple times on the same day, sometimes not even the right day I put it for, I schedule something to repeat every month on say the 24th and it’s like ok so this is going to happen on the 5th and the 24th or 6 times on the 18th, there’s no rhyme or reason for how it decides it wants to do things. I just want this app to be less glitchy because I love how simple it is. Also would love an option to change color schemes and maybe the default view when you open the app

Almost perfect!!

I’ve been through countless calendar apps, always annoyed at how complicated and chaotic they look. But this app is nothing like that at all. Very easy to understand, and I use it all the time. Seriously a life saver. I noticed a little bug though, on the monthly calendar, if you press a date, it’ll show the date on the bottom but if you press a different date it’ll still show the original date on the bottom. It’s a bit annoying. Also, more color schemes would be super cool! So you can make different tasks different colors. Overall a great app, I recommend it to anyone. Few changes could help it to a five star though.

I love it so far! Please make a Watch app!

Please make this Apple Watch compatible! I feel like the minimalist design would be so much better for it than the currently available calendar apps. I got Dawn and have been messing around with it before committing to spending money on the full version. So far I love the layout, and although it took me a few mins to find everything, it’s now incredibly easy and intuitive to use. It’s also so pretty! I was looking for a calendar app with a widget and this one is perfect. It has all the info I need without any extra clutter. The developer is also very friendly and responded quickly when I had a question. If you are on the fence just download it!

simplicity at its finest, honestly

i wanted to get a separate calendar app to use for all of my homework assignments for school, and i stumbled upon Dawn. the icon is what first caught my eye; sleek, simple & cute. I downloaded it & started exploring how to use it... it’s suuuper easy. my favorite feature is sub tasks. i use the class title & week as my “Task” and then put each assignment that due for that day for that class in as sub tasks. i have a busy class schedule with a lot of assignments, so being able to keep it so organized like that is clutch.in the Spaces section, i created a ‘Space’ for each class. i customized the icons also, i LOOOOVVEEED how many color options there were and was glad you could click on the color name and change the colors manually (at first i didn’t realize you could do that, so i was just sitting there clicking the icon & having it change to random combos for AWHILE 😅😂). once in the Space, i created a List for each week’s module and added tasks in with the name (i did not put a date/time on the tasks in Spaces because i had already made Tasks on the actual calendar part of the app)overall, i’m super super happy with Dawn so far. lol, i literally just downloaded this app earlier tonight but still, i’m impressed. i’m NOT the type of person that usually writes reviews but i had to tonight because this app earned it.it’s the cutest calendar a girl like me could ever ask for 💜
