Kinda glitchy. Wish there were more options.

So I think this is probably the most user friendly app for my personal preference. I’ve tried lots of different calendars and apps and I do think this one is my fav. I just wish there were a couple things different with it.It’s a little glitchy. I went to put a routine on a day and it changed the time, duplicated certain tasks in the routine and I had to constantly check every time I added a routine. It shouldnt be this difficult. Also the app was making my phone make a weird quick vibration every second for a few minutes while I was using it. I’m not sure why it stopped after a couple minutes but it almost made me throw my phone across the room. Also I wish the emojis had the option to change the color of the hair and skin of the people like on iPhone. But otherwise I think the emojis are really cute. Oh! Also. There needs to be more options with notifications especially the sounds. So far so good just these couple things. Please fix and I may just subscribe!

End up frustrated every time

I really love Tiimo, I do, but the app never really seems to actually get easier to use with updates. There is still an issue with calendar syncing. If you accidentally delete a calendar synced event from your timeline, you’re out of luck on ever getting it back on Tiimo. I’ve tried un-syncing and re-syncing my calendar, signing out and back in, it never restores the event in Tiimo even though the event is still visible in my calendar. It’s extremely frustrating to not have a fix for this, it almost eliminates the benefits of being able to sync calendars in the first place if you have to spend the extra time manually inputting things that should show up with that calendar. Syncing across devices also still needs work..they never reflect changes made within the other. (Ex: Accidentally deleted a calendar synced event on my iPad, but it still shows up on my phone. Any edits I make will not sync across devices. So weird.)Also, I really wish they would give us an update that has an option to have routines and events read out-loud to you. This would be particularly helpful for your users with dyslexia, vision disabilities, etc.

Improving, but there are still problems

I fully acknowledge that this app is a work in progress, and is getting a little better with every update. But there’s still a perpetual problem where as soon as Tiimo is updated, a new feature is rolled out, bugs are fixed and glitches are patched, there is always another problem or new bugs that come up when it seems to be improving. It’s like one step forward and two steps back. I don’t quite understand that because the concept and design of this app seems pretty simple (although I’m sure there’s more to it under the surface). I don’t know, I’m just trying to get through my days, get stuff done and not let ADHD (and what I suspect is ASD) get the best of me. This app helps some, but the benefits kind of become redundant when I have to manually go in and correct things because little bugs in the program throw off my routine. The one I’m the most frustrated with right now is the fact that Tiimo likes to log me out of the app on my Apple Watch randomly - it almost always happens overnight, and it sometimes when I’m in the middle of an active routine, and I don’t realize until more time than I had intended to spend on an activity has passed and then “whoops! I have to enter my log-in information again.” If you have ADHD or are on the autism spectrum, you know how frustrating and discouraging interruptions to routine can be, especially in their early stages before you’re fully comfortable with them.

Close but needs work

I really like the concept of this app and I think it has a lot of potential. It can definitely be helpful in its current state. However, my two biggest gripes with the app is its implementation of the tasks done any time and the Notes section for tasks that aren’t to be scheduled yet. When a task goes incomplete, I have go back to the previous day and reschedule said task. Which is all fine, if you can remember that task was there in the first place because there is no sort of reminder or auto rescheduling function. I most certainly will forget about a previous days task I was unable to complete until it becomes a problem. The notes section at the top right is also an issue for me. I get what they were doing, but I keep forgetting that it’s there because of how small of a section it is. I understand it helps keep the planner from getting clogged but again, I’m going to forget. As someone living with adhd, forgetting is my constant state of being so because of these two things, it a deal breaker for me. If they implemented a reminder feature in the future, mostly for the incomplete tasks, I would definitely consider using the app.

Great app, hoping for small changes

I don’t have adhd or autism but this app has helped me to reflect and improve on my routines and systems a lot. It’s one of the best calendar / routine apps since Google Calendar , which is saying a lot bc GCal was the standard for years and over these past few months I’ve already fallen in love with tiimos capabilities. Only thing is I am unable to use the new Widget functionality on the app which I was looking forward to. I have the latest tiimo version so I’m not sure why it’s not available for my iPhone? But that brings me to my suggestions:What would really make this app spectacular is if it had 2-way sync with Apple Calendar /Google Calendar and if there was a way to block other apps while using this app. 2-way sync is important to me because i like my events and routines to be backed in my base calendar which is Google Calendar. And having to switch between the two constantly can be frustrating. Also, my second point kind of relates to the widget feature, as I would like to be focused on only the tiimo activity that’s currently scheduled and not be distracted, but having to open the app each time defeats that purpose. Nevertheless I’m excited for what’s to come feature wise with this app as its grown so much, if these features could also be taken into consideration I’d appreciate

The best

as an autistic person with chronic illness, i need reminders to properly take care of myself and function in the best way i can. i’ve tried an incredible amount of apps & methods to make this work but tiimo is by far the most accessible, including the price, which is about what i would spend on a good planner for the year. the app layout is very clean and not overwhelming which i find essential. i love the way you can add emojis & colors for the task icons, though i wish there was a way to customize the theme color. i also find it extremely helpful that you can connect to your calendar app. i use this feature for my work schedule & appointments. i would fully recommend tiimo to anyone who needs a visual idea of their day and/or anyone who relies on reminders to get through each day. this is a great app to support and utilize with great people behind it listening & improving

So Close, Save for Bugs and Crashes

Tiimo is a fantastic idea of an app for those with ADHD and other neurodiverse people! But it is so incredibly buggy even with the update and it’s left me frustrated when trying to habit stack my days and structure my routines. Every time I remove a routine or calendar event, I have to restart the app to see the results or the app crashes in the process of moving events around. It’s really difficult to restart timed routines, and it can feel really defeating when you start a routine late (such as a morning routine because you needed some extra z’s) and it starts to feed to the shame cycle that all many neurodiverse people struggle with, especially time management or being behind. Even editing routine templates before inserting them into my schedule became tedious work because every little edit would take multiple tries to save it, especially checklists or descriptions under each task. It was easy to become frustrated with the app because you can see the bones of what will be a great UI interface and experience. I was really hopeful that Tiimo would be my go-to planning and task management app, but it just doesn’t clear the bar in its current iteration. It is clear how passionate the dev team is for the community it is trying to support. I am grateful for this company, and I hope they keep working on it!

I LOVE this app, but there are a couple kinks

As someone who is neurodivergent, this app has helped me bring order and structure to what was an overwhelming amount of unstructured time. I highly recommend trying it for a couple weeks if you think you’ll benefit, because you’ll probably find it as helpful as I did.Now for why I docked a star: there are a couple of things that could really improve the app. A search feature for the icons would streamline use. More background colors as well (especially a white background option) would be nice, as I’ve found I run out of color coding colors quickly. Also, being able to schedule multiple things at one time (such as eating lunch while at work) and being able to more easily repeat activities on the same day (rather than just the next day/ week at the same time) would be great for those of us who take meds more than once daily and while doing other things. Finally, adapting the app to be available to sync on the smarter FitBit devices would be VERY helpful (I’d gladly pay a fee to download it onto my device if that’s what it takes). Though these would make the app better and more useful, it’s already pretty great, so if I had the option to give it 4.5 instead of 4, I would have.

Love the app and a few suggestions for you ❤️

So, I love TIIMO and it’s almost there but not quite yet. I have a major issue with the routine function, as you know people with ADHD have difficulty knowing how long an item may take to complete. So, before I’m done with my first item, it’s at the fourth and I feel very defeated. Also, I can’t check off what I have done. So, I’m only using activities. Why can we not drag and drop activities? Like, days get rearranged sometimes (working single mom of three, here) and I don’t like that we can only drag and drop items with “do anytime” feature. So, I set eberything to “do anytime” and then I forget to do them. 🙄 or, I set a task for 13 hours just to keep it open. Some things need restructuring. Also, the to do list/notes feature is not realistic, so I’m using a whole other system for that and now it feels more confusing. We need a way to batch tasks. Like #phonecalls ~ I don’t want to have to remember what color phone calls is. A hashtag grouping feature would be amazing. I love the app and continue to pay, and really hoping things improve soon and I will be a customer and user for life!

FANTASTIC app & have suggestions!

This app is the best scheduler for me, especially since I can make a widget on my Home Screen to remind me of what I need to do whenever I pick up my phone. Combined with reminder notifications, this 100% prevents me from forgetting stuff! And I LOVE having the ability to designate certain tasks as things that can be done anytime during the day (I’ll call these Anytime Activities). My only qualm is that Anytime Activites don’t show up in the Right Now view or in the Widget. So here’s a feature/tweak I would love to see: a button to show/hide Anytime Activities in the Right Now view, along with an option in Settings to set whether Anytime Activities are displayed in the Widget. That way, people who like how it functions right now can keep it like that.Anyway, my favorite part about this app is that the Widget displays bright colors and pictures that I can’t overlook on my Home Screen. Tiimo is fantastic and I’m excited to see it continue to improve!
