We have enough new features

I constantly get new emails about new features being added to ClickUp. It’s great that they’re delivering so much in one package but I really wish they would polish what they already have instead of adding more things that very few people will use. I can’t stand this mobile app. I need to be able to manage my work and tasks on the go and this app is far from delivering a good experience for that. Tiny buttons and links. Messy layouts. No visual hierarchy in any way. Feels clunky and incomplete.I haven’t seen a single new feature announcement that would be useful for me. Stop adding more and deliver a great experience with what you already have.

Love desktop but it is IMPOSSIBLE to use mobile or iPad versions!

Clickup is awesome to use on my desktop using the browser. And the people are wonderful. So I hate to give them a poor rating, but if I don’t have my computer nearby, my workday is absolutely paralyzed. It’s so buggy and hard to use, I don’t even know where to begin. It’s dreadful. Unresponsive. It can’t scroll, I can’t find things, it crashes, etc. So much simply doesn’t work. And the interface is different enough that I’m super confused by the UX. Thankfully, ClickUp just raised $32 million, so I hope they will at long last, pay (overdue) attention to their mobile app. I love clickup, but I lose hours when I have to use mobile...

An Organizer’s Dream

I have tried hundreds of apps, programs, planners, etc to find something that worked for me on my day to day tasks. THIS IS MY DREAM PROGRAM! I now have all of my personal to dos set up for me and my husband on my workspace. He’s able to see tasks I assign to him and track his progress, and vise versa. Once I got my personal life organized, I decided to give it a try for work as well. It was perfect. I have all of my projects in their own space, with lists of things to do for each. Then I created a new list to just show my tasks for today. I created repetitive tasks like “send is usage report” to open a task every week. I log in first thing in the morning and my entire day is perfectly written out for me. I check them off as I go and I’m able to report to my team what got done and what’s in progress. Seriously could not feel more organized than I do right now. I do want the team to improve the mobile app still. It’s not as seamless as the desktop version. It’s difficult to scroll and read the lists, as well as creating lists and new tasks. I find myself writing things down on paper or my phones notepad when I’m not at my desktop, then adding that in once I can get to the computer.

Love the desktop, web but app is not user friendly.

I just approved our company to use click up as our main project manager platform. I love the interface of the desktop and web pages. The UX is easy and makes sense. This APP is a little more frustrating. The biggest issue is how small the font is. It should be the other way around. It should be clearer and more concise to move around and handle various functions. Though there is symmetry in design, the app font is too small. At least give the option to change the size. Make that change and you will get better scores.

Dying to love it but HATE it and here’s why...

Ah clickup. You have every feature under the sun including every one I need. But alas, clickup is enough of a pain to use that you’d think it was made by SAP or Oracle. You’ve tried to throw your UX out the window and replace it with clickup v2 but still it’s clunky, unpolished, and overwhelming with too many features especially on mobile. This is what happens when an engineering led company makes design an afterthought instead of leading with it and having design leadership at the top. As a Silicon Valley insider myself, I have seen this play out time and time again. For now it’s back to Asana for me. Hire some good designers and give them a voice then raise your prices! Would pay double your current price if you had all these features for my team AND they didn’t complain about bugs in the app all the time.

The new King after the demise of Producteev

Clickup is the ONLY interface that is ridiculously featured, robust, malleable and customizable to such an extent that one’s clickup can be completely different than someone else’sI’ve been using it since v1, and after the 2.0 release, the leaps of improvement are worth every penny spent on the application. After Producteev was shut down, it took me a year to find the right one, but there were always many, MANY missing features and some weird decisions that made zero sense. Trello, RememberTheMilk, Nozbe, AirTable, Marvin, Todoist, AnyDo, .... you name it. I’ve tried them ALL. Nothing at this point matches Clickup. I was the biggest user of Producteev, but Clickup surpassed it by a long stretch. The iOS version is indeed not as good as the desktop version, but if you are one of the early adopters, i’m certain you remember how it improved from the onset. In my opinion, it’s solid. I’ve geard about the implementation of a native app, and definitely looking forward to itClick up Team, you guys are cool peeps

Love the desktop version; mobile is hard

I love the desktop version of clickup and though there are some sticky spots, it’s much better than trello and other apps. It really is flexible enough with a robust set of features that at first it may seem overwhelming, but if you start simple and ignore the features you don’t need to start, it really is the best to form fit your personal work style. However, the mobile app leaves more to be desired and really can be frustrating. As a woman on the go, I really need to be able to jot down notes, reminders, etc. and not have user experience issues get in the way. I think there are likely some bugs the clickup team needs to work out to make it smooth and fully functional for users. For example, scroll interactions aren’t smooth and inhibit workflow. Today, I tried modifying a task name I created on the desktop app and it keeps saving missing end letters of words... it’s small things like this that aren’t enough to entirely put me off clickup, but do make it frustrating to use. Overall, hopeful the clickup team will invest significant resources into optimizing the mobile app in the very near future because of they could do that, they’d be leaps and bounds above asana, trello, and the others.

Frustrating mobile app

Like everyone else, the desktop app is amazing, but the mobile app seems like the negected child. I definitely understand designing all of the features into one mobile app may seem rather impossible, but this leads to MANY bugs, that seem to still exist after reading reviews from 1 year ago. Luckily for me, I will be heavily using this on the desktop. Maybe the team should consider making a “Lite”, or “on-the-go” app version of ClickUp, to minimize/reduce bugs, while allowing for a more seamless and intuitive design.

Better than the new app, please never discontinue support for this!

I love this legacy version much better than the newer app! Better DOC editor, supports Time Estimates calculator, and so much more! Minor bugs that are totally tolerable. The ONLY thing I didn’t like is it doesn’t support your iPhone’s customized setting for “Text Size and Bold Text” you have for your iOS under Accessibility. I have vision problems and really need the Bold text and bigger text size. I’d be so happy if you could fix that!!If the ClickUp Team is reading this, plllleeeeeaaassseeee never stop support for this version!! You guys are doing a great job, thank you!!♥️

Unreliable. Not for professional use.

I thought it’d be great to have the features of Asana, Trello and Quip in a single app. Unfortunately the very first doc I created won’t fully sync from desktop to iPad to phone. The only section available is the table of contents. That means I can’t edit or even read it on mobile, rendering it totally useless. If I can’t be sure all my docs and tasks are available and in sync then ClickUp is more of a liability than a productivity tool. I was happy with the desktop app after a couple days of use and liked the Gantt and calendar views a lot. I thought I was going to make the switch so I started testing it on mobile. Such a shame. I added a second star because I think there’s potential here but an unreliable app simply cannot function as the core source of truth in my business.
