One of the worst banking app

This is one of the worst banking app ever. Firstly, after the update it forced for doing KYC with branch again. After that, it keeps on failing with network connectivity issues all the times. Even the feedback can’t be submitted from the app as even that is not working. Not sure if any effort is made in doing user/ device testing before rolling out new version updates.

Unable to use it!

Keeps saying “…connectivity issues, please…” forever. Recent upgrade changed the name and look and feel so much so that I couldn’t recognize or find the app, now named ‘VYOM’!Loved the Corp Bank mobile app which has been disbanded for quite some time now.Rest of the world advances while this bank doesn’t.

Worst app and worst bank

I can’t even access my Union bank bank account from the app or even website. Worst bank ever. Despite trying every possible thing, the app always says that there’s no SIM card in my phone (obviously there is). So dumb. And the staff can never help me either.

Problems & Problems only

After corp and union merger mobile banking is a nightmare. This app requires reactivation everytime either sim or device is changed. Other bank app dont require to maintain sim in the phone after it is registered. But not this one. Also fund transfers never go through. In the last step after entering transaction pin it says connectivity error. I dont recommend this app to NRI users.

Worse than Andhra Bank App

It is a shame a bank of this size has such a crappy App. Instead of providing more/better functionality, this App takes digital banking with UBI to Stone Age! APP stopped working on my iPhone since I have a USA phone number, while it used to work with Andhra Bank App. Fails to launch the App with error “no SIM found” (while all other Indian banks mobile apps work!).

Worst banking app ever

Looks like this app was built as a high school project. 99% of the time it doesn’t work. I can see my deposits and account information once a leap year. I got so frustrated that I thought of dropping a feedback on the app. No surprises, Even the feedback functionality is not working. HORRIBLE!!

A Stone Age app

From a country like India, which is a land of top software development engineers, it’s sad to see such a Stone Age app being rollled out. This speaks volumes to the Government bank mindset of forcing people to the branch office and make them wait in lines, rather than improve digital connectivity. I’m sure they can invest in a better app, but it’s the culture of ‘it’s-OK’ which stops it. Take ICICI for example, they have a top app and set a bar for other Indian banks to follow.

Unable to setup

Why is the app assuming some random number when to trying setup, I am unable to edit that number and when I touch anywhere on the screen the message automatically is being sent to that incorrect number and says number is not registered.

Non-functional for NRO account holders with foreign Mobile

The activation automatically sends a text message to an unknown number to verify if mobile is registered. This is very poor design. The app should prompt for login with customer id/password and send sms to registered mobile just like in internet login to verify mobile via SMS sent after login. The app should also allow FaceID login on iPhones after SMS verification is complete using an option to toggle FaceID login.

NI (Needs Improvement) rating from my side

App architect should learn app experience from other banking services apps. This app design is pathetic, not sure who approved this non sense design. Specially for NRI customers, all restrictions. Like can’t use without sim, imps does not support, why sim is mandatory for registration and post registration? Wifi should be more than sufficient. Hope developers read this and improve user experience. Thanks you.
