Almost perfect, but still 5 stars
Aside from the default reflection streak on some photos (appears on upper left 1/3 on some framed images) this is a great app. Hopefully the dev can resolve this to not be the default of having that glare reflection. Otherwise this app is truly excellent!
WHY NO CUSTOM SIZES !?
This app would be perfect if users can control the size of their photos.😭 I gave only one star because the sizing factor is so limiting, I cannot use it for my projects, it is very frustrating because the app is otherwise perfect. 😔 I like VOUN because it is simple. It does not many options in terms of walls or frames, & pretty limited purchasable options, but it gets the job done. As an artist, I create traditional artworks of various sizes (8”x”10”, 11”x14”, etc.). I sell my work online. By only having the 2:3 ratio and the square option, VOUN is not useful to me any longer. I need to be able to create a custom sized frame/crop to show the ACTUAL size and shape of my work in order to sell it online. I’ve read many reviews stating the same issue. I would also gladly pay for this app if the photo ratio options were improved. Perhaps in the future a design with some type of paid ‘premium’ version of the app that allows users to have freedom and control over the cropping sizes will be available. Until then, I am researching and wanting to purchase any other apps to do the job instead of using VOUN. 😥
Great mock up app
I’ve been doing this type of mock ups from scratch using photoshop. Glad to see someone has made it an app. So far so good. I would love to see more frame options down the line but right now it would be nice to select from different standard size frames. I think the only available options in this app are 1:1 and 2:3 ratio. Would be great if they can add a 5:4 ratio so that we can mock up 8x10 framing
Please put a sizing option in!
Hi! I would gladly pay any price for this monthly if there were options for sizing other than 2:3 or a square. I think this has been one of my most valuable resources in consistently selling my art and I would be incredibly grateful if there was an update for this. 💗
Signature issue
Giving 4 stars for one reason only. It doesn’t provides an option to save your signature, so for me personally is a problem because I have to manually sign every picture and the signature is different every time. It’s the only thing missing right now. Other than that, all is ok.
I NEVER add frames, but this is different.
Pretty cool if you want to see what your photo will look like matted, framed, and hanging on the wall. No goofy/unrealistic frames, but the options that are available have such subtle differences that a little bit of goofiness might be OK... maybe. (I've only used the settings that are included for free, so an in app purchase might round things out just fine.That said, there are enough respectable, components/options included for free to make this a worthwhile tool as is, and the hi-rez output, with shadows and highlights, looks as realistic as you want to make it. I would like to be able to do a little more with the width of the frames and matting, and an option to add the finished picture to a photo of a real wall would be great.

I just have to say I love this freakin app! The clean look. Oh my God! I have never seen my artwork in this light on any other website. I will tell any person in need of this clean, fine look for sharing their artwork in such a stunning way digitally. Frames, COLOR CHOICES and quality resolution make all the difference and I feel this app represents my style for how I have desired to display my pieces. Beautiful space to insert your artwork. Five stars bro. And that’s just me experimenting with the non-pro version of this app. Wonderful. Thank you VOUN creator for this. This girl needed it.
No Landscape mode for ipad use why 4 stars
This is a fantastic app for adding FRAMES to photos !However, in 2020 any app that does not allow landscape mode for an ipad will never get a 5 star rating !The developer still uses an iphone portrait type program yet says the app works on an ipad. I do NOT use the ipad pro in portrait mode, who does? So why does the developer force me to manually turn the ipad and use the app?I even paid for several of the locked features I think the app is that good.Fix the landscape issue please and you will get 5 stars !!!!
Limited size options
The app seems great but the artwork size options are very limited. There are only two size options available - square and a specific rectangular ratio. If your artwork isn’t any of those two sizes then you basically can’t use the app. Hope they fix this in future as it seems like a very useful app!
I’d give it 5 starts if...
You only have two picture size formats: square or 8x11 or 8x12 or whatever that vertical format size is. It certainly isn’t 8x10. It distorts all my portrait oriented images. It elongates them. Wish it would fit my photos. I’d give it 5 stars if it did.
