Can’t access the color backgrounds?
Hi, Overall this app is really nice- it’s very intuitive and works well. I just started using this app to size my photos for instagram, and my friend told me about how her White-Border app allows her to pick a color background. Mine only shows 2 background options- white and cropped white. Is there a way for me to access the color backgrounds as well? Thanks so much! Honest and Efficient
This app is barebones, no fluff, no paywall or forced “premium” subscription, and does exactly what it says it does. Five stars because it functions exactly as advertised and absolutely zero hassle. Easy and fast to use, works great.
app not exporting videos
I’ love the overall layout and usability of this app, however lately I’ve run into a new issue where it won’t let me export the video after converting it. Tried deleting and redownloading and I also updated it to the newest version, however still same issue
Works well, wish there was a color picker
I’ve been using this for the past month or two for my instagram account but I wish there was a way to import hex codes/pick colors from photos and mark favorites. It works well if you’re fine with the color choices provided or if you just want a white background, but I just wish there was more flexibility!
I love this app
Does exactly what I want and I LOVE that I can add borders to video in the pro version. Glitches: After the latest update the exporting bar won’t go away after I save and all the videos are exporting WAY darker than the original. Can you fix this please? 😭 Being able to add borders to video is my favorite part of this app.
BEST white border app ever
i was searching for an app that would add a white border around my picture without chopping into my picture, making it smaller. this app is everything i was looking for; it creates a white border around the picture while leaving the picture the same size, unless you zoom in or out but only making the border bigger/smaller still not chopping into the picture. i needed this in order to post close up selfies on instagram & they look the best they ever have. will definitely keep using this app for every post in the future.
easy to use, no monthly sub, reasonable “pro” price
It does noticeably decrease the photos clarity slightly which is my only issue. If there’s some way to improve on that, it’d be great. Other squaring apps I’ve used don’t have this issue. That said, for it being a free app (w/ ads) it’s really easy to use and does the job. Even at a one time purchase of $3 to get additional features and no ads is more than fair; especially when compared to the outrageous monthly subs for most photo-squaring apps currently... As far as I’m concerned, the dev is doing me a favor w/ this app- it’s the only one I’ve been able to find w/o a sub or watermark etc. Definitely recommend! Thanks dev 💜
Game Changer!
An app that may not have all the bells and whistles but it does what it’s suppose to superbly and with accuracy! As a street photographer that edits my photos on my phone every now and then and shares them on Instagram, this allows me to put negative space around my photos with consistent thickness.Side note:1. Would love to be able to save multiple templates as I plan to differ Eri are my video posts to photos. 2. Be able to type hex values.
Add a back button
Edit: Developer messaged me back the same day I left this feedback, and made the fix a week later. I’ve changed my review to five stars. This is a wonderful app and more importantly, the developer cares about the app and listens. I’d give it ten stars if I could. Thank you. Original review: The app needs a back button. Add this feature and I’ll change this to five stars in a second. It’s needs a back button. I’m going through a folder of hundred of photos. I have a few that are similar, from the same shoot. They’re right next to each other in my photos app. I want to quickly see which one looks the best in the white border. So I open the White Border app, pull up the photo folder, scroll up until I find the group of photos I’m looking for, then select the first one. It looks okay, but I want to see the others as a comparison. This is where the problem is. I can’t go back. There is no back button that returns me to the same part of the folder I was in. Instead, I have to start over. Select the folder. Scroll until I find the group of photos. Select a different one while trying to remember exactly how the first one looked. It’s an inefficient nightmare that can be easily solved. I paid for the app, but I need this functionality or I can’t continue using it or recommending it. Please help. Should be a quick fix.Edit: Thanks for the response. Let me as soon as it’s done, and I’ll absolutely change this to the five stars it’ll deserve.
It Just Works!
The app is easy to use and right to the point. No fuss! Note to new users: Like it says on the app, when using Filter Resistant the boarders on Instagram will look black, but they will change to white once your pic is posted. In my case, the boarders looked black, some were pink or grey, but as soon as the pics were posted all the boarders were white. Great app.
