Post on Instagram don’t work anymore
It’s been really good but after an IOS update or so the SAVE > INSTAGRAM doesn’t work anymore, the app does redirect to Instagram but because the image with Whitegram wasn’t saved, Instagram brings me to the posting page and the picture I wanted to post (with white frame ) isn’t there. So I have to SAVE, and open Instagram separately and that defeats the whole purpose. That being said, I enjoy the app and it make me happy posting pictures. Thanks!
Great app, could be better
Great app that is simple to use and I love that it is free with no ads or subscription plan. It works well and does what it advertises however it is quite basic. I would have no problem paying a 1-5$ ONE TIME fee for features such as creating portrait or landscape whitagram’s or the ability to edit multiple pictures at a time.
Sizes? 4000 pix is not 4000 pix
Hi, as a photographer I think Whitagram is a godsend. I use it on a daily base. There’s two problems though. First one is that the border is less space below the photograph than above. This is a flagrant mistake in graphic design. There should be more border underneath the photograph than above. It could be optical illusion, but still is an eyesore. The second fault is that the export pixel size is not as at states. I export to the biggest pixel size, which is supposedly over 4000 pixels, but I have gotten complaints that my images are only 250 px longest side. Which is obviously way too small. I would not mind paying for this wonderful app should those two criteria be tackled and solved. Thank you for the creator of this app and hope to have this straightened out so I can give it 5 stars.
Very good. Only one suggestion
I don’t use apps that have ads. So this one is great for that alone. I have no interest in the effects packs, so I’m glad the app does not force them on me. However, I would be totally fine paying a one time premium to have it all/support the developer. So I would be happy if the app costed $1-2.Only thing I would ask is this: if I select an image for editing, but then want to go home without having made any changes to the image, I don’t think the app should ask if I want to go back. I don’t really like prompts in applications, just slows everything down and feels clunky.Thanks!
What I have been looking for
I am very delighted to have found this app. It does not only let you add the white frame, but also adjust the frame to your liking. You only have several colors too. It does the job nicely. One great thing about this app is that it does not add its logo to your frame, which some apps i used did and you have to pay to remove the logo. 5/5. I'm so tempted to delete all my photos and redo my entire feed.
You should ditch all the others
This is the one! Finally, after searching and searching, I found the one that does it all with no complications, no ads, and is even linked up with Adobe CC. It's simple and straightforward, nothing fancy, but offers all the tools and is easy to use. Get rid of whatever you've been using- this is the only app you need for it's purpose!
Hands down the best photo editor
I LOVE this app!!! Everything I need to edit and post pictures is in this app! The editing tools are basic but the pictures always turn out great! The best part is— almost everything is free. The only thing that isn’t is the typing tool but that’s ok! I don’t need to anyway. Every other asks you to pay a monthly fee but with this you don’t have to. GET THIS APP!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Never loved an app enough to rate it before
This thing rocks. I hate cropping my photos, and I love the look of adding white borders in order to get that 1:1 aspect ratio, whether it’s for insta or for a profile photo of sorts.You can easily add white edges to horizontal or vertical photos to get that square shape, and save to camera roll with one tap. Sometimes there are photo quality options and you can also upload to social media from the app.I love how easy it is to use. Minimal wait and minimal effort to get what I need.In the past, I would have gone through the tedious process of doing it manually in photoshop—this app saves me so much time and effort. Sometimes technology is awesome.
Great App! One suggestion..
I love this app and use it all of the time to get full size images from my DSLR to fit on Instagram without losing quality. I do have one suggestion- a group selection tool! I often post multiples from a shoot and it would be so much simpler to be able to select a few photos to be resized at one time. Otherwise, it’s super easy to use and really helpful!
Takes over a minute to load library, crashes after
I think this app serves a very basic purpose really simply: add a white border around your photos and crop them to square. There’s a few really frustrating problems, the biggest being that it takes at least one minute to load pictures from your library. Once you select them, it’s easy to set the border color. Sharing is easy to, but once you save the picture the app freezes and you manually need to shut it down and reopen it, going through the long minute-to-open process all over again. Too bad I haven’t found any other free alternatives. It’s not my phone’s problems, I’m using the latest Pro iPhone each year, and this problem has been around since day 1.
