Come back to me!!!

I love this app!! Why, why why do you not update and hurt me so??? Only 4 stars because you left me. Alone. With nothing else to fill the void of your absence.I have not found another app that does the painted effect like THIS ONE DOES. All others don’t provide depth! They can say that a photo will look “painted”, but it all looks like a cartoon- except THIS ONE. This one looks like layers upon layers, like you would FEEL the paint gobbed onto the canvas if you could touch it. If anyone has another app they found that can do this FREE, tell me! 3 years and no update only tells me I can say goodbye to cool AF.

This app is still awesome...

SUPPLEMENTAL:The following info is anecdotal, and admittedly, late in the game, but since the dev clearly is no longer supporting this app, I’ll throw this out there in case it helps anyone. I have refused to update this app for fear of losing it (and I know that day will come sooner or later, but hopefully as late as possible!). I have two or three apps that I don’t update for this reason, and they still work. Judging from other reviewers on here, this app is starting to break for most people, but mine still works. For now. I know this is temporary and fleeting, but hey, I’ll take what I can get!... Although it has not been updated in quite a while. I am really hoping to see an update soon, especially because of this app's potential. It is truly unique and, despite some glitches, it's a solid app. I would like to see some improvements with the masking tool as well as some bug fixes, particularly when it comes to crashing and/or freezing when in random mode (although I only find the freezing to be an issue when I leave it on the automated random road for a long period, which Innoway, it's almost understandable, considering how much input must be going into the thing).Anyways, this was just a review update. I still love the app, but I hope the developer plans on maintaining it!

Suddenly not saving photos

I’ve been using it fine for months and really enjoy it but it’s suddenly saying “user denied access” when I try to export an edited photo to my phone library. Also, the app doesn’t show up as existing on my phone when I go to privacy or photo settings to attempt to manually give it access to my library. My phone isn’t registering that the app exist? Not sure what’s going on but it is a bummer. Tried deleting it and downloading it again, still the same problem. Unfortunate.

Workaround for saving error

As others have stated here, this was a great little app for customizing the look of your photos or images. But because of a user saving error, the app will no longer allow you to save your altered image back to photos in the customary way. So until the developer updates, if ever, the app to correct the issue, I can’t recommend purchasing this app! Thus the one star rating! But for those, like myself, who already own the app and like myself have bought many of the enhanced functions from within the app there is a workaround for the save function. Simply do a screen save by pressing the power and home button simultaneously or whatever button replaces the home button for those devices that don’t have one. It’s not as good as the in app save function where you could select the size and resolution but at least it allow you to save till hopefully the developer updates the app, but don’t hold your breath since nothing been done with the app in quite a while! ;-)It would be ashamed to let this little jewel of an art app go by the wayside but unfortunately many other similar type of apps from the early days of the App Store, have as well.

Non functional customer care information

I am not sure what is happening, but all information about App Support are developer’s website are non-functional. Recently, I got a problem to save glazed processed photo back to my Camera Roll. I kept having error message, “User Denied Access”. I tried to go to the app privacy under settings but could not found glaze app in any settings sub-section. I hope that this app is not going to go out of business because I have not used it much after bought it. Hopefully, the developers are still very active and still working on this app.

Great for paint effects

This app is one of the most powerful apps of its kind. The variety of paint effects is very large and the app has only crashed on me once.My only suggestions would be to update the help overlays (especially the user guide one), and make a more professional icon. The current icon almost made me not try the app. It screams amateur. A strong icon is a great help in getting people to check out the app.

Needs to be updated!!!!!

This app was amazing on my iPhone before the new iOS update. In order for the pictures to be saved you have to have an old iphone/ipad that hasn’t been updated to the recent iOS. Since the creators have abandoned this app you will have to screenshot the pictures. (Lowers the quality a lot, but it’s the only option because the email option DOES NOT WORK EITHER)

Glaze is very inventive. Very intuitive. Resize? Yes!

I don't believe in giving a really great app a review and no purchase. Do that by spending money. Going to be able to blend these? They are sweet and professional on the higher resolutions. This is really a swissknife when you learn to use it. This may be The quickest and easiest image resize or within set design proportions that you've ever used. Would like to see a no effect panel just so you can use it to resize!

My most used photo app

I have just about worn out an iPad trying out a multitude of picture/filter combinations over the past year. I love this app because you never know what you will get until you try them all. One of them will almost always be what you are looking for. Some of these that I have posted on Facebook have been mistaken for real paintings.

Picasso meets Monet meets Rembrandt meets Jackson Pollack meets...

I could straight up open an art exposition with some of the gems that have spilled out of this app. All I do is take s@&%# selfie photos, now I look like I was some renaissance nobleman posing for 8+ hours while homeboy drapes up a million dollar canvas of my a#^. If I slapped one of these bad boys up in the Louvre somewhere, people wouldn't even bat an eyelash, it would just become a feature of the Louvre. Take a picture of whatever and you've got a brick of solid gold with this app.
