Good luck trying to pay your bill

This company is awful. I have always had trouble trying to pay my bills with them. Sometimes they post my payment, sometimes they forget, sometimes they randomly lose my billing address even though it’s been the same for years. I try paying on their app, then they take away that option from the app. I try paying on their website, then it goes down for “scheduled maintenance “ for over a week. Then they post to download a different app that’s outdated and doesn’t work only to make you download yet a third app to find out your paying late after TRYING to pay them for two weeks. They are an awful company. And that’s just the tip of the ice berg. Don’t get me started on their reliability of service. Definitely avoid moving to an area where this is your only option

This app is pointless‼️

Every time I try to view my account it’s unavailable or error occurred. My app is up-to-date and I can see my name signed in. I’ve tried different times of the day/night. The ONE time it worked for me it said I had a $10 balance in risk of a shut off. WHAT!?!? I used the messenger through the app to ask what is going on? I was assured it was just part of my next bill. They typed NO worries everything was paid!!!!Well apparently something got off track. The $10 must’ve been a fee for being late (I set up auto pay). My bill increased and it didn’t cover all of the last balance.I called an actual person and insisted the $10 be taken off since I had proof of the conversation saying everything was up-to-date. They fixed it. Then I asked what my full balance was. I sent the payment. Only to find out the very next billing cycle did the same thing!!! It was $12 something outstanding. Ridiculous!I really wish this app would work. I could pop on and check my balance to make sure this doesn’t keep happening. I swear if another competitor internet was in my area, everyone would leave them! Save yourself the headache and DON’T TRUST the app‼️

Consistently inconsistent service!

We’re in SALLISAW Oklahoma and their sales officer visited us quite a many time for having their service. He probably is the only best person of the company I’ve experienced so far. We registered for the services and have frequent issues. Service Pearson responds in 6 to 8 hours, which as compare to my other service provider, not even near to match! Having such a big name, Suddenlink shall atleast ensure the continuity of good internet service but in our case they failed! App is only for residential customer and not for business! Can you imagine having two different app from same provider for two separate accounts!? Come on guys!! Wake up!!

Suddenlink service

How can an internet company have a website and mobile app that never works? I pay all my bills online and Suddenlink is the only company I have problems with logging onto their website and app every month. Once I finally get in, there is no option to schedule a payment in advance, so I have to wait until my payment is due to log back in and pay my bill. That’s if I can even log in at all. I haven’t had to pay any of my bills by phone or at the store in YEARS!! But it seems I will have to do that today. Completely ridiculous for an internet provider to have such an antiquated way of paying my bill. Nonsense!

No other option....yet

I really don’t know how this service has survived this long: except that maybe it’s because no competitor has decided to work in this area. I have not had any requests resolved: 1. We continue to have underground cable sitting above ground since we moved into our home ( for at least 10 months now) and the excuse given for not fixing the problem?- “ We have so many requests that we are backlogged”Though the internet service has been ok, the customer service has been poor at best. Now there is no convenience for paying my bill- because the App- like the company’s service- is “ Unavailable...having issues...please try again later “At this point, if a competitor were to come along, I would strongly consider changing over....smh

Do not use this app!

This app is horrible. I signed in to pay my bill and was just going to pay the past due amount. I authorized only the past due amount on my card and they took the entire amount to zero my balance even though I authorized only the past due amount. I called customer service and they very politely said too bad. They are completely dishonest and I will immediately begin seeking out other ways to obtain the services that I need. When I said something about what had happened, one of my coworkers said, “Oh yeah, they do that.” He then went on to explain that they had done it to him and put his bank account into an overdraft status because of it. When he called customer service to complain about it, their response was, “You owed us the money, you paid it. We caNnot give it back”Not a Great way to do business Suddenlink. Eventually people will figure out what pirates you are . . .

Pointless app

I downloaded this app, thinking it would be like the app Comcast offers. This app literally has zero features. You can just basically pay your Bill. It doesn’t show you the status of you network, can’t manage network info, can’t check devices connected, can’t actively troubleshoot your network, can’t view hardware information. Why did they even make this? My internet isn’t even working right now, using my phone data to write this. Couldn’t troubleshoot it with the app. It just shows you an article on unplugging the router and plugging it back in. Thanks.

Horrible app…if it ever works!

I wish there was a zero stars rating! This app rarely works and is not user friendly at all. If you want to pay your bill, your best bet is to pay through the website. Every time I log on it tells me to login again and then it says the billing system is not currently available and to try again later. Did not waste your time with this app. Better yet, find a different internet/phone/TV/security provider as Suddenlink’s service is horrible all around!!! I wish that I had another option for internet, but where I live I will only ever have another option if anyone puts fiber optic lines to our neighborhood. Which is highly unlikely as there only about 30 homes here.

Unfair Reviews

I think the 1 star reviews are unfair. Most are complaining about the service which I agree could be better, or their customer service. Please act like you’ve had at least a 9th grade education and rate the app nothing else. For other complaints go to their website or the BBB. My review of the app is that it works like any other support app for a service I am receiving. I can view my bill, Bill history, change my plan, etc. I gave it 4 stars bc it could be better but it meets basic needs. For those of you having problems paying a bill or scheduling a payment I suggest doing it on their website. I have autopay which I can see on the app. This might be the reason my info is easy to view. Anywhoo, that’s my 2 pennies.

Most unreliable app I’ve ever used.. NEVER WORKS!! EVER!

This is a disgrace! I’m about to switch companies because this is so poorly managed. Their nation wide service is fine but the app has not worked since I downloaded it. Even store reps couldn’t get it to work. They need to get ride of it or actually hire someone to make it work. I’ve changed passwords and everything I can think of and now I’ve had late payments after being so mad that I couldn’t get the app to work I walked away from my phone and then couldn’t get through on the phone now my payments are late... how in the hell is that my fault that all of the resources to pay aren’t available.... awful service. If you are thinking about this company... think again and use someone else
