Scam !!!

DONT EVER GET THIS BANK !!! I opened an account with this bank a week ago !!! I even set up direct deposit and connected it to my cash app account ! All was well at first I was able to use my virtual card on transactions while I waited for my physical. Within two days BAM! The restricted my cards and my account !!! I wasn’t able to use any of the money that I had in my account and when I contacted the chat Elvin told me my account was in review but he wasn’t allowed to tell me anything else !! Why would my account be in review when I’ve only had it two days !!! So then I called them several times and they kept me on hold then said nobody was available and hung up on me ! I was told they would reach out within 24 hours !! I waited 6 days !! And finally got an email saying due to my account activity they decided to close my account !!!! I haven’t done anything !! I literally had two transactions from cash app and I bought food from my job using my card THATS IT ! And now they won’t respond or allow me to have my money back that’s still on my card !!! The stupidest bank ever !!! And their quick to log you out of your accounts and STEAL YOUR MONEY !!! I will never again !

Don't bother

Over a year ago I got this card because I was trying to improve my credit and they promised a quick and simple path to getting an unsecured credit card. I put a $1200 balance on the card and used it consistently, made every payment on time, and follow all of the steps that they listed to get unsecured. Fast forward over a year later. This is still a secured card for me. A Discover card I got at the exact same time graduated me to unsecured much sooner. I have also had issues with linking my bank in the past. And I have read lots of reviews about people not even getting their cards on time. I love the idea of this card, I love the simplicity of the sign up and the fact that you get your virtual card right away. But this company fails to meet its promises, customer service is unhelpful, and if you are able to, there are better options out there.

App is glitchy and account activity records are extremely insufficient

Despite the fact that this app receives updates there are easy to fix interface bugs that have been there since the first time I aaccessed it. That issue is relatively minor because as I said, the glitches would be easy to remedy if they were not ignored. Much more concerning to me is the extremely poor and sometimes non existent account/transaction documentation made available to the account holder. I have used many different online banking/debit card/credit card services and I have never seen this type of lack of transaction history before. I appreciate how one can obtain an unsecured credit card so easily with Sable’s service but the extremely poor account activity and transaction history documentation that is available to the user is why I would never have my direct deposit switched to my Sable account.

No access to my account since last Wednesday

Do not sign up for this card. There is no customer support. I have been unable to access my account since last Wednesday. I have tried every avenue to reach someone to no avail. I have left numerous emails, called numerous times since last Wednesday. I reside on the west coast and they are on the east coast. I got up at 6am my time and it is now 7:28 and I have yet to get anyone. The call picks up and says it will connect you to the next rep if you are willing to wait or press 2 for a call back. It is a lie, after 20 minutes the call disconnects. I have called three times and the exact same thing happens. If you want to be locked out if your account and get no help at all - I say go ahead and sign up for this card. This is the biggest customer fail I have ever encountered in my life. FAIL FAIL FAIL. And yes I am on hold again waiting for it to hang up.

Great in theory

There is a lot I am attracted to by the concept of Sable — it being digitally savvy amongst them, yet that seems all ironic with the trouble of getting started with them even though I appreciated the speedy approval…The bank appears poorly recognised and terribly challenging to get started to adopt and make a go-to banking solution. This could ease with having an activated physical card but to start, Zelle does not recognise the virtual card number as valid debit card, making it difficult to start moving money in there. I also tried to add the account for payroll direct deposit with my employer, but the routing number was not recognised as a valid bank. At this point there are still few (free) options to move money into the account, that would require either waiting for the physical card to arrive or several days for approval, but clearly the company is not sufficiently recognised for some simple operations. Great in theory but onboarding is ultimately not as the speedy as one would expect from a predominantly mobile bank.

Poor customer service

1.) They claim that you will get both a virtual card and physical card for both checking and credit card accounts. My accounts have been opened for over a month and according to app my physical cards are still ‘processing’. I even email support and they assured me they would be sent out… that was over 2 weeks ago.2.) I filed a dispute for a charge on my credit card I was unfamiliar with and they shut my virtual card off… understandable. However, they never reissued me new virtual card details that in combination with never receiving my physical cards leaves me with no access to my account. 3.) Huge lack of customer support. Email responses state they can take 1-2 business days. They have a chat service available on the app that states they are available between 9am-6pm EST. You have to stay in the chat at all times because if you close it the app does not notify you if someone responds. However, in my case no one ever responded and I started the chat just before 1pm EST. I kept the chat open until after 6pm when they closed and no one assisted me. Went into it again this morning and so far it’s been over 30 mins with no help. They have no customer service phone number that I could find.

Little to no customer support/ don’t download

This credit account is now classified as “delinquent” on my TransUnion credit report although it has been paid? I was under the assumption that the entire concept behind opening a “SECURED CREDIT” account was to ensure that my money would cover any expenses charged on my SABLE-ONE CREDIT CARD in the event of an emergency. Under my previously stated assumption, the occurrence of several unauthorized transactions on my card would be an emergency, but not to sable, it’s a miracle to even get any kind of response from them. After giving up on getting the fraudulent charges removed, and having taken care of the balance, I want this issue addressed immediately. The level of support offered by Sable is entirely unprofessional, not to mention customer service has been nothing but lousy at best. After realizing what had happened, I paid the other “$0.16” that I owed on this card. Sable received all funds, which involved 30 dollars from secured funds, and a payment with the “remaining balance” was made. An account that should have been “secured” has negatively affected my credit score, dropping it from 654 to 530. Both parties could have avoided this situation with the proper care and communication from the Sable team. There was no connection on behalf of Sable concerning my account, which is absurd.

So far so good, but!!!!

I came across Sable I believe it was on Instagram and so I decided to sign up for an account with them because I like the idea how you have both a debit and credit card to which you can use to rebuild your credit. So long story short I've been waiting on both of my cards to arrive in the mail and I still haven't received them yet, I called customer service twice and I was told it takes ten business day's for them to arrive in the mail not including weekends or holidays. So I was like okay cool. And now it's past ten business day's and I still haven't recieved my cards, I called customer service for the second time, and I was told that we're sorry but it usually takes two weeks, I told them you know it would've been nice to let me know this ahead of time instead of being told ten business day's to get my cards. This is not a good way to start out as a new company by not being honest upfront in the begining. So for now until I get my cards in hand and have been with Sable for awhile, I'm sticking with the 3 stars for now until I've been with Sable long enough to give a better rating

THE single worse bank ever

They will take out money from your account and have no explanation why nor will return it. I’ve had rewards stuck in my account for almost a year, that I can’t withdraw, I asked for assistance but they gave me a dumb excuse and never fixed the problem. 10 days ago $20 were taken out of my account and sable had no answer for it, I spent hours on the phone with a rep trying to fix the issue and get my money back, they told me they would call me back when they figured out what happened and I never got a response from them. They also allow random transactions to be pulled out of your account even while your cards are locked/inactive, and it’s extremely difficult to get a hold of them to dispute any transactions, on top of that they offer such poor and unprofessional customer service. I’m so fed up with this bank and if I had another choice I would’ve switched to a different one already, yet I will VERY SOON

SABLE BANK + SABLE CREDIT

With all honesty and respect it’s aiiite, it’s nothing spectacular or no WOW factor behind it. I have thousands upon thousands pushed thru my account every month just from payroll and not including Zelle Or Cashapp. I wish I could get more incentive of cash back and it would be dope to have an easier process to both load funds on my account abroad when I’m visiting family in Calgary, AB and trying to move or transfer funds from my checking account to my credit card balance. Oh yeah it needs improvement with features and notifications such as when I have payroll deposited in my account and sh•t like that. All in all it’s decent for a no name financial institution that I’ve never heard of up until last year (2022)
