Ok so, it is Absolutely how as advertised

I am a software developer myself, and I absolutely Hate marketing lies to ramp up numbers. This app does Not allow a feature right in the phone app that you can just click to record as advertised. If its an incoming call you literally have to tell the other caller to hold on exit the app the phone app, find their app, click record, CALL the record number, then merge the call back with your caller. Not worth more than $5 a month. Literally just a voice messaging system to stay on the line with you, and takes up your other line. Better off recording from another device.

Shady developers

I’m not subscribed but I’m being charge $7 a week for this service??? I contacted support that lists options of a refund, subscription cancellation. They’re refusing though to do both. On my end this app isn’t something that shows it’s been a subscription….I’m furious. They’ve pushed the issue unto Apple to issue me a refund when it’s clearly them who has to do it. They want ppl to believe they aren’t in charge of the funds however receive it just fine on their end. Look at the reoccurring subscription and remove me, I’ve done so on my end, I shouldn’t have been charged. It’s not worth the download. This isn’t my first app so I’m pretty sure I know how to remove a subscription correctly. If I’m charged again then it’s clear the developers are illegally charging consumers.

Not covert

Most people looking for an app like this need discretion. 1)when receiving an incoming call, you first have to answer that call, then open this app, call the number and then merge the calls. I did this and it didn’t take too long but obviously you would not always have the ability to do this and catch the whole conversation. My biggest complaint about this though was halfway through the conversation the person goes “who is listening to our call?” I said what do you mean and they sent me a screenshot showing their phone screen saying they were in a conference call with me. Therefore their phone let them know I had merged the calls. They thought a third party was listening in, not that I was recording but that wasn’t any better of an outcome. 2)when I call out from the app it LITERALLY came up on caller I.d. As “voice recorder”!!!! Do not waste your time and money. Luckily I did the free trial and was not charged.

Do Not Download. Free Trial = $7.99/week charge

I’m not a Luddite, and I never write bad reviews, but this was a straight up scam. They never made it clear downloading the free trial would quickly result in my being charged $7.99 a week — that’s right, 7.99 a WEEK, not per month.Apple refunded part of my money, because they agreed it was shady and unclear, but I’m still out over $600. I was never sent a receipt, and canceling is like trying to get your insurance company to pay out = intentionally unclear and Byzantine. Apple eventually had to it for me… this company mever replied to my countless emails.Reality is the app didn’t fit my work needs — I'm a journalist who often needs to record interviews (with subjects’ permission). App wasn’t better or worse than other recorders (except for stealing my money), Apple just makes it hard for an app solution. I was at work party recently, and this app is legendary for scamming people who want to try their product. Shocked how many similar stories I heard, which was reassuring as I wasn’t alone in being duped.

Not very good at all

I had it less than a month so the most I should be charged for this no good recorder app is the 9.99 a month fee. I will make sure I let everyone I know how this app is is I don’t recieve a refund . you people need to be reported to the news media and att. General for the scam your pulling , your app is not like you say it misses alot and I shouldn’t be charged for a full year when I’m not happy with it and it’s been less than a month and I’ve kindly said I’d pay for a month and you know I’m right it’s a joke. I will not use it anymore , and I will wait for a answer from you but I think a month is way more than fair for your product. Considering I’ve barely used it maybe 3 times and they are all not full conversations and that’s bad company business to do this to people. And it’s only been 2 weeks. And the name unhappy subscriber is already taken so that proves my point!

Could be 5 if they made a dial pad for auto calls to company's

This is the best call recorder app I've come across, honest to God truth. I have been harrassed, lied on legally, and this is the perfect app to catch people in their web of lies. You can even hook the app up to a line that is not your Actual Number, like a burner number you use for specific reasons. And I love that. It doesn't ring on my phone, but I think that was an issue with the line I used through another telephone app. I have recorded over 200 minutes on this app, and it is as clear as day. Definitely worth the money, and I think they should add a dial pad as the only way to get one is from incoming calls and merging the app recorder. No hint that you're recording either, which is a plus. It beeps at the beginning of outgoing calls, for you, but no signal to other party which is great. Highly reccomend for anyone needing to record phone calls. Make sure your state is one party consent, so you don't get in trouble legally by breaking your state laws.....

Not easy to cancel “trial period”

I tried this app. In order to even try it, though, you have to give them payment information. According to the description, there is a 7-day “free trial period,” and if you don’t want to be charged you just have to cancel. I tried recording a call. Well, I tried *making* a call and couldn’t even get that to work. I have now been trying to cancel the subscription, per their own instructions. I thought I had, but I just got an email today saying that I would be charged in a couple of days if I don’t cancel before then. I have sent multiple emails to their “help” desk, and received absolutely no reply. I’m deeply concerned that I am going to be subscribed to an app that doesn’t work and for which I do NOT want to pay. Highly recommend against this company.

Good at first

This App generally recorded without issue when calling personal cell numbers. But calling businesses or 800 numbers audio drops out once trying to merge calls.When the merge call button is pushed, audio on the original call that is trying to be recorded - goes mute. The call takes several attempts to merge and in the process the audio is lost. The person who answered the call cannot hear you and you cant hear them and they hang up.This has happened consistently for weeks when calling any business or when there are prompts, options, or being tranferred to another extension.

Misleading marketing

Where do I begin? The IG ad shows a record button on the default phone screen grid. The intro video on the app download shows 70k 5-star reviews, while the app only has 21k mixed reviews. The merge call feature looks like 2 taps when in reality it's a convoluted process that involves many steps and permissions to your contact list.The sad reality is this app is barely usable, has a weekly cost and honestly if a company has to lie in advertising, it's a hard pass for me. I also see the app developers blanket responding to complaints with a generic response, Apple needs to ban misleading apps like this.
