Great game

This game is absolutely amazing it has so much detail to what you can do with the characters and the play style is very easy and simple yet when I find myself bored with nothing but my phone I play this game but even when I get into more interesting circumstances I still play this game it is addicting and honestly it should be much more popular this game clearly has had more love and passion poured into it then any of the thousands of games those companies that make a ton of ads combined it doesn’t even force ads on you the only game on my phone I Would say is better than a few on my main console. Sorry for the lack of grammar checks and punctuation I was bored played the game and felt compelled to write a quick little review even though it is not little nor quick but all this did come to mind instantly just cause it is true

Amazing And Fun F2P Game

I think this game is amazing with well thought out with AI movement as good as chess and excellent advantages and disadvantages to the different classes. I love how they have fun things that you can buy, but you don’t need and that’s what makes the game as good as it is, the fact that you can have fun without feeling like you need to spend money to get better. I was looking for fun games to play and all of the games I found didn’t look as great until I found this game. A game with a simple art style and amazing gameplay. I do have some complaints, but they don’t change my opinion at all. One thing I would love is more classes and mechanics where you have to use a certain class to do something in the game. I would love for them to change up some objectives and I would want for them to add new mechanics other than killing monsters, opening crates and chests, and collecting coins. Overall, I love this game and, although it isn’t perfect, it’s as perfect as it can get.

Simple yet captivating...

This game is an immediately classic dungeon crawler with character creation, equipment, skills, and, of course, increasingly more difficult monsters to slay. Search high and low for keys to gain access to rooms filled with loot and upgrade your equipment by delving into the dangerous mines for ore. Play one of several classes that each provide their own unique twist on the basic combat mechanics but be mindful of each class’s weakness as you start your adventure. Run daily quests to gain in-game currency and upgrade the game aesthetics or purchase revives so you can finish that one boss you just can’t quite handle yet. Grow in your rank each week along with other adventurers in the community and gain more rewards based on how you place. The application is not without its bugs but the developers are active and appear to be determined to work through kinks. There even appears to be a system for getting completely new content into the game. All that said, if you like dungeon crawlers, enjoy the “1-bit” retro throwback themes, and want to watch as a good game gets even better, I highly recommend.

Phenomenal so far

I’m very impressed with the amount of game there is for it to be free. One suggestion I would make would be a way to pause or leave and come back. I had a 7000 step journey, and I chose to die bc I had been at it for about 2 hours, and I knew that was enough for the high score. Also the blood knight seems a touch OP. I found myself out-healing most enemies’ damage. That being said, I’ve only played him and the warrior class; maybe he’s supposed to feel that way. Being able to see resources when the blacksmith hands you the bill would also be a nice quality-of-life feature. Lastly, I feel a starker contrast for the three resources would be beneficial aesthetically. You could keep the largely monochrome aesthetic intact if a pattern was laid over them, in addition to their different shape (i.e. dots, diagonal lines, crisscross, etc.). But overall, a great game, and 100% worth the download.

So close to perfection

This game has great atmosphere, the graphics are exactly what you’d want in this kind of game, and combat, leveling and equipment upgrades all feel natural. As an old school RPG lover however, the key system is incredibly unsatisfying. It seems keys are randomly spawned and can be found, but coupled with the no turning back aspect of screen scrolling, what it means is you pass locked room full of loot after locked room full of loot and never find a key. If there was always a key to find within the vicinity of the locked door, it would encourage exploration and experimentation, for now I just sigh and pass them by. One mechanic I would suggest to make this even more interesting, is a “look” function. Swiping toward any non interactive object when you are right next to it could be a “look” and you could find keys or other items hidden. Otherwise this game is great casual fun, and pretty rewarding overall.

Questionable Gameplay Mechanics. Graphics Good

For my first playthrough I went with the Blood Night and there doesn’t seem to be any strategy besides hurling yourself at the enemy. Lifesteal is cool but really doesn’t feel all that rewarding since the enemy attacks on the same turn as you. Lifesteal is basically just a defense buff. Besides that. The D-pad controls work ok. I wish I could move around a little faster with them, and I always find myself missing the buttons or hitting the wrong ones, despite changing the layout and size. I was also very confused when I discovered that Mines and Dungeons are the same thing, even though the tutorial makes it seem as if they are separate places. I do however, like the mechanic of having to find a blacksmith or a shop. It makes progression rewarding. I am not, however, a fan of the Potion Brewing kettles being a 1-time use only. The kettles are too few and far between for 1 potion creation to be justified. Maybe 5 uses per kettle would be a little more balanced. I love the art style and enemy sprites. Good graphics. Love the 8-bit style.

No pay to play

By far one of the best designed games in terms of mobile playability. I love that I can pick it up and play it whenever without having to stop and watch ads to games I'll never play. You also don't have to pay to play. Yes, buying items makes it a little easier, Buti don't feel like I'm being forced to buy things to succeed. So, when I go to the shop, I do it because I want to support the game designer. Not because I have to do it to play. If you don't want, or can't, buy stuff in the shop, you choose when to watch the ads. I wish more designers would treat their games this way.The game play is fun and replayable because of the many characters and professions. It's an epic, old-school dungeon crawl. I think I find my favorite class of adventurer and then find a different one that does other cool stuff and then I love that one. I recommend this game often to friends (and sometimes strangers.)Great job! And thank you.

Intelligently done well thought out

I have to say that my expectations for this game were low to start with despite the many reviews i read, (Skeptic by heart) however i will say that i am truly impressed they took something that seems simple and turned it into an epic rpg with paid achievements, this fact alone was my hitch for this game. Im not playing heavily at the moment, due to their impending update. Rest assured however i will bb right after as i think it truly is a game worth playing. I think its amazing to have someone develope a game not aimed at cash grab but truly looking to create an enjoyable exp for players. I want to thank the devs of this game as i have found too often that players dont matter its what they can pay, this game to me is not the case. I will back up an earlier review with i would not mind/blame the devs for throwing in some ads(there is none that i have seen or found btw) for this wonderful game they have put out for what seems to be for the players, not the money. Again thank you and i hope more developers follow in your foosteps. Great Job!

This is the best mobile game I’ve ever played

First of all, it’s very easy to pick up and learn. The controls are simple and intuitive as well as the menus. Being a mobile game, I love the fact that it is “turn-based”, but it’s a very clever iteration. When you move, the enemies move. If not, the world stands still. Camp fire “resting points” are your chance to save your game and back out, giving you the option to continue your adventure later, and they are very nicely generated, usually every few minutes. This encourages me to continue playing for just a few more minutes each time, pushing as far as I want to go without worrying about losing progress. The loop of this game is very satisfying, you move “forwards” through a randomly generated map, fight enemies, collect loot, and have nice little caves to explore, blacksmiths and shop keepers will appear randomly. In the caves, the difficulty and rewards are increased, with an option to either fight the boss or exit the cave at the last minute. I have not fought a boss yet, but I’m sure I will take on the next one. There’s just something so perfect about this game and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I love it. Perhaps it’s the simplicity that appeals to me so much, while at the same time having deep and rewarding gameplay and mechanics. Much love to the developer, and I look forward to whatever games lie in the future. Please play this!!!

Good Game but Lacking Content

The game is good don’t get me wrong . I like it . There’s leader board systems and rankings. It’s also not pay to win. Has different themes . But it’s missing so much content . Like there’s so much loot but there’s barely anything to spend it on. I spent 3 days playing and I already have maxed skills bought . The only thing left to do is get lvls and prestige which is a very odd feature for a dungeon game. Everything becomes so useless . You will have gold like stacked up , useful for nothing and there’s only 6 characters and they all share the same thing. Archer doesn’t shoot arrows all the time . It has a step cooldown. Same for mage. Though the gameplay is good . I wish there would be more features like pets , storyline and much more . I do get the fact that the game is not pay to win at all so maybe add some to create better projects . I believe this game could pop off if it was more interesting. Overall , 3/5 good game but new players can easily lose interest after reaching like lvl 60 .
