Love it!

I love this game a lot!! I wish it was a little bit more balanced in terms of research. The blueprints are hard to find when looking for a specific one, the Special IV blueprint, I don’t see it listed for any rewards in the levels and after more than a week of searching for it in games, I haven’t found any randomly. I wish this felt more like a “grind” game rather than a luck one. I play for hours but the loot is so random that grinding really doesn’t get you anywhere unless you’ve lucked out with rare loot. Just a couple of things but I do love sooo many things about this game!!!

Fun but has a few problems

Like most mobile gamers, I have been bored with crappy voodoo and “ If you reach this level you are skilled” games. When I found this, I tried it out and enjoyed it immensely. However, towards the later levels it tends to become repetitive and difficult. Also, mining has so little payoff, but you have no other way to quickly get minerals for research. The aiming system is also somewhat flawed, as I have seen snipers set to hit strong enemies go for the green circles over the orange squares. Fix these problems, maybe add a little more variety and content, and you have a 5 star game. P.S. The music is amazing, don’t change that.

Incredible Game

Normally I do not leave reviews, but I must make an exception for this game. Before downloading the app, I read a few reviews that highly regarded this game as the best tower defense game on the App Store. I was skeptical, so I decided to give it a shot. One month later, I haven’t stopped playing the game and I can truly agree with the other reviewers who praised this App before me. The game is simple, yet very advanced as well. It is hard to describe. I wasn’t expecting the customization aspect that this game provides, nor was I expecting the upgrading aspect of the game either. There is always something to work towards, and I still haven’t figured out how I can finally unlock the final two towers after a month of playing. 4 tower platforms!? There is a way to beat this level… But I assume I must make some upgrades first. Additionally, I am really happy that this isn’t a pay to win game. If you put in the time, you are going to get the upgrades you need. All in all, thanks for making this game. I wish it had the exposure it deserves, but congrats on making a game that is truly enjoyable to play.

Love it

Idk man, I usually delete apps after a week or 2! I have been playing this one for 3 months and I am still going. It is just incredibly satisfying. Their are no crazy bumps in the road and as you play the game you gain an understanding. You will find out that almost every if not every tower has a use. It’s super fun with the amount of research. It looks like a lot but it is relatively simple. There are towers and upgrades for those towers. There are miners and upgrades for them. There are abilities and upgrades for them. It’s really simple but complex at the same time. I love it.

Best TD defense game, not easy to learn

I've been a TD fan since they were birthed in starcraft custom matches, I've played just about everyone, and this one is among the best! The difficultly is there almost immediately, but everything is possible if you try different configurations. The music is really fun, and the animations are almost satisfying, but a bit simple. The UI(interface) is incredibly over complicated, it looks like a couple of developers had a brainstorm and used every idea they could think of, and then added it to the home screen. For someone coming into this game it could be very daunting. The complexity of the game is also over the top, there are so many different things you can do, and they're all visible from the first stage of the game. I would recommend hiding most of the content from the user and show more as they progress. I would also recommend making the research more understandable, there are so many options that it's honestly overwhelming when you open the research tab, no one is ever going to read all that. Also your research tickets should be visible on the research page. In summary, this game is really awesome, but some genius with too much time made it, and added every possible feature they could think of.

First game I’ve written a review for.

Recently started a new job doing nothing all day, not important.Been looking to fill that eight hours with some fun, having interests in the Bloons games and having a nostalgic soft spot for an old Flash game “VR Defender y2k” I believe? Anyway, not important. This game offers great effects and simple mechanisms for in-round improvement as well as D E E P progression that carries into each round. It’s a safe mix between resource management and traditional tower defense.I think what I appreciate most about the game is that it seems passionate, which sounds weird, but hear me out.The devs seemed to focus on the fun of tower defense and progression. I struggled to find buttons where they were trying to show me advertisements, and struggled to find a tab for in game purchases. There ARE options and incentives for watching ads, but it’s not capitalized on, and that gave me the feeling that this is something I WANT to support, and ended up going out of my way to watch ads for.You my friends, I know you read these reviews. Keep up the passion. This is the first game I have actually shared with my discord buddies that like tower defense games.

The only limit here is you

You’ve ever felt sad that your towers couldn’t reach legendary proportions in (insert tower defense game) because the level/ goal was complete, well this game isn’t like other tower defense game, it’s concise and to the point in a minimalistic and modern design, but every level goes on forever, which means you can play these levels for as long as your willing to take it, or as long as your towers can keep up, this game is gauranteed to keep you invested with a massive skill tree, a very simple and cool game for those rainy days.

SOOO GOOD!

I played the first game a while back and I remember it feeling kinda empty, and getting to upgrade each individual stat for towers just felt a bit overwhelming with finding what you should spend coins on. The second game completely fixed these issues, graphics are still a simple style but wonderfully done. Upgrading your towers is a lot simpler but with added special upgrades you can choose. There’s a good variety of towers, also a large research tree that feels good to go back to after completing a level. Overall a great tower defense game!

Fun Game with Two Huge Flaws

I enjoyed this game. It may be the best pure tower defense game available. But it has two huge flaws. First, the in game help is woefully thin, especially compared to the complexity of its mechanics it is very easy to waste time pursuing one set of upgrades, only to find that that path does not help you. The complexity of the research tree aggravates this, especially because what each upgrade actually adds is opaque. The second flaw is, literally, game-breaking. After several weeks of trial and error, I managed to get many towers upgraded to where I could use them reliably. Then, in the middle of a game, it froze. When I returned, all of my progress had disappeared and the game had reset to the tutorials, wiping out weeks of work. There appears to be no way to restore your previous progress very frustrating, and badly designed! Good game. Game-breaking flaws.RATING REVISED TO 5 STARSTHe developer responded quickly to my earlier review. I learned that if I had logged an account, I would have auto saved to the clouds due could have restored from there And the developer credited a new game with resources that brought me back close to my lost progress. So five stars: great game great suppor!

Best TD on Mobile, ever

Infinitode 2 is, hands down, the best tower defense game ever published on any mobile device. It is also easily among the best valued games I’ve ever installed on my iPad or iPhone. The game is free, and there is truly no reason to ever need to spend money on anything. The game doesn’t have an energy system to limit your playing. There is no pay to win whatsoever. The game is incredibly deep and impressively well balanced, and the replay value is thru the roof, because every level you beat has so many quests that keep on ramping up as you play. The game never feels like a grind, even when replaying previously beaten levels.Infinitode has many enemy types, and many different towers. Unlike many TD games, you NEED to build pretty much all of the tower types to really crush tons of waves (each level has endless waves…..you keep going until your base is eventually overpowered). As I mentioned above, you never NEED to spend money on this game. However, I was more than happy to pay a one time price of $5, which increases some of your rewards after beating a level, and causes loot boxes to open instantly. More than anything, I just wanted to give something to this developer for creating such an amazing game. The game is easily worth much more than $5.If you are into TD games, this is the one! Get it!
