Best word game

I’ve played many many word games in my life. I am over 60 years old and have been playing word games since I was 13 (variety puzzle magazines and books) Most are all very similar. When I downloaded Moxie I figured it would also be like other word games. I was so wrong! It’s challenging and fun and best of all different from the rest. If you like word games and using your brain, this is the game for you. I just would like them to add more levels more often.

Scoring?

I like this game but the scoring doesn’t make sense to me. Right away my red hearts said “full” but I have no idea what that does or what it means. I like to do the daily puzzle but you can’t earn any points that way. I do several other puzzles each day but never earn any points. How many puzzles do you need to do to earn points? Could you explain the scoring somewhere?

accessibility for people with vision loss

This game sounded really interesting when I read the description. I tried to download it, and it was successful. When I tried to open and play the game, my phone would freeze due to using a screen reader. I hope you all can provide easy access for those of us who are blind and visually impaired, in order for us to enjoy what this app has to offer as well. thanks in advance for trying to improve accessibility for all!

Love this game

I love all word games, but this one has me addicted and, therefore always running out of levels. I so wish I could never reach the end before more levels are added.

Could be a favorite with a few changes

I love Blue Ox games and I love this one, but as someone else noted, after the basic tutorial, there is no help to remember what the perks you earn do for you.Also, way too sensitive on iPad. In trying to use my index finger to place a letter on the puzzle, the base of my thumb touched the iPad resulting in a Twaddle and I was never able to make a word on that line again. I am sure there probably is a way to undo a move, but as mentioned above, I did not know what feature would fix this.I played the original Moxie also and was surprised when this version allowed you to use words more than once. Like someone else, I kind of miss the themes, but realize that you have already done that. I honestly think this game could be even better with easy help reminders of what you can do with the various features. Having to leave your game to go back to a tutorial, till you memorize the symbols, is just too time consuming and makes me play less out of frustration.Nevertheless, I like the game immensely but am hoping for updates to help.

Was my favorite game

This was my favorite game. I made it to level 256 and then my game started freezing every time I would start a game. So I saved my progress and deleted app and reinstalled. All progress lost and now started freezing at level 18. Ughhh!

Excellent word game!

Keeps getting better! I like the latest change that allows you to replay the daily puzzle until you get the maximum number of keys. (Some days take a lot of tries!) I’m on level 606 and still love the game.

Update your dictionary

I love this game! I’m just surprised that some words aren’t accepted like: zen, Dane, June. I thought these were fairly common words.

Awesome Game!!!

Fun and very addictive game!Previously, I wrote the review below that I’m leaving up just in case someone else had the same problem I did. Thank you to the administrators for clearly explaining what the problem was. I had just jumped in and played for points, thinking I knew how to play. I never had gone to “the book” to read the instructions before. I just completed Level 199 which I had tried to best at least 2 dozen times (maybe 3). The game is even more fun now. Thank you also for responding in such a timely manner! Great game, and good people at the helm! 😊****What I wrote previously…“However, there is a glitch. There is a “goal” amount posted at the top left. Reaching that amount MAY cause the system to recognize you successfully reaching the goal…or NOT. Most of the time, while it will acknowledge “goal reached” on the top left, it does not end the round. It will just keep on counting until you run out of tiles, THEN tell you you FAILED to reach goal! On a 700 goal, I just did over 2200 and it still told me I failed! I wish y’all would fix this.”

Disappointed in Updated Game

After finding Moxie several months ago, I found it to be so enjoyable. But with the newest update, it has definitely lost its appeal. Having to complete 1500 points every day of the month to attain the monthly bonus seems stingy. I’ve found myself losing interest in playing Moxie at all.
