This started out being a great family game. However, recently, it is Ridiculously Annoying, and here’s why 1. initially, I invited my sister and aunt to be friends and aunt did the same. But sister entered our name/user ID to invite us to be friends and the response is our “name and user IIDs are not found.” 2. When a game is initiated, we each receive an invite to play, and it shows we are all ready to play, then the initiator presses the button to start the game, 2 of us are not in the game; it does not populate on our screens. Even though it shows up on the initiators board that we are in the game. So, you have to do the game alone, it will not allow you to exit out or cancel. So, Sister has to exit her game 1-2 times and then it will populate in the middle of a round. I on the other hand have to log out of every game and then reenter my email, then it populates in the last few minutes of the game. 3. Also, the game is supposed to go 4 rounds, sometimes we get 4, and other time 2-3 rounds. Please fix the BUGS!

I am an elderly care-giver to my elderly husband. Among my busy works of weeding, planting, raking, trimming, in our gardens, and making meals, and cleaning the house, I find this a perfect “loose yourself” game. Visitors and relatives join in also. Beats sleeping and/or watching television. We have 2 other “word” games.If ever you want time for only yourself—-a treat is to play with others, diligently. Not only is this game fun, I learned from other players. It is not exactly ‘isolated’ from people, but learning from others while having fun makes life interesting. I do this after catching the 6 p.m. news. Meet very interesting people.

I have been playing puzzly words every night with my sister for about four years but since the format has changed half of the time we cannot connect and all of my other games continue to run while puzzly says check internet when the problem is not on my side but on yours and sometimes when we are fortunate enough to connect we are kicked off in the middle of the game, this is very frustrating and I really wish you would correct the problem or do away with it altogether !!!

I have been playing Puzzly Words for about 4 years, which is probably the longest I’ve played a game. The dictionary seems compatible with the Scrabble dictionary, in English. Which is fine because that’s my native tongue. The only complaint I have with the game is getting to level 4 and then still have to play with beginners and people with average vocabularies. They want to add letters and time too much which is distracting and annoying. I end up quitting if they do it too much, then I get moved down to 3 stars. It would be more fun to play if the levels are separated.

If you love playing against others in real time, and not having to wait til your opponent has the time to take his turn, you will enjoy this game. It’s easy enough - make 3 words from some random letters - but as you play more you will learn the strategies it takes to win over the other three of your opponents. Not to many games like this. Would be nice if you could make comments to each other after/during the game. Love the perks you can purchase with the coins you earn for playing; they really come in handy!

Love this game but recently there seems to be a problem....sometimes you cannot get another letter, or if you do get it to come up it still is won't work , it just won't move. It its very frustrating and have wasted many points because of this. If this were to be fixed I would definitely give it a 5+.Since I wrote the first part if of this review the problem has been fixed ....this is a fantastic game, makes you think....and think fast. Very challenging for sure!

Right now if someone gets a big lead everyone quits. Not as much fun when there’s no hope of winning. The game should add whatever tiles it would take to allow the lowest score to catch up. So each round, everyone is still able to play. Either that or allow people to quit instead of forcing them in the game for all rounds. The interface could use a serious facelift because it looks so dated. Best word game in App Store but could be better.Also the multiplier tiles need better distribution. After a game with several tiles, you know the next two games are going to be boring I’ve started quitting every time it’s obvious no multipliers will be available. Not a lot of fun without them. It would also rock if you had a pro mode where whenever someone is done they can submit. At end of round adds points for order of commit. So if I’m first I get 3 points.

Ive always been good at most word games & have never had a problem following the instructions....that is when i have the instructions to follow. Someone playing your game for the 1st time might as well be looking at a foreign language. I had to go back to the app store to see what i could find & even then the instructions still werent clear. You all really should think about showing demos with all your different click ons, ques marks, etc etc. no one can make heads or tells out of any of that. & another thing...the click on letter sensitivity is very poor. You either get nothing or the wrong letter or letters which is not a good thing at all in that very little amnt of time you’ve alrdy half used up trying to figure out how to play it.

OMG, “WHY” the change. The worst interface, ugh...the previous layout IS what won me over to begin playing puzzly words, after playing word battle for over 8years..The previous layout or interface WAS what set this app apart from the other competitors. NOW, it is the SAME bubble-KIDDIE layout as many of the other word games🤦🏻‍♀️. I am VERY disappointed. This WAS my EVERYDAY game. My goodness somethings are better left as is!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this game but now I do not get the same excitement as I enter the app since the update... I am sure you guys will not return the game back to the original format so I am sadly deleting my favorite game. Wow, this game was were I could escape from the world AND it also allowed me to learn, while having fun...FYI WHAT IS THE number 4 which sits behind the add a letter?? I’m 🤷🏻‍♀️ confused...PLEASE PUT IT BACK!! Come on fans let’s petition for a return to the original format SOON!! I need this game in my life, hahahahaha. Seriously, I really would love to continue playing, if the format and layout could be reverse, however, for now I am no longer interested in this game and have deleted. We Used to enjoy Puzzly Words... but the new version isn’t much fun. The boards are much smaller, which is annoying, because I’m often hitting the adjacent letters In error. A huge issue we’ve had, in different locations, (different states, WiFi, etc) is the connection dropping in the middle of the game. It kicks you out of the game & you lose your points. Every time it happens, other apps & WiFi continue to run. One good thing is that I now only play a couple of games a day, rather than a couple of hours a day, like I did with the previous version. I’ve heard so many complaints... I’ve moved on to games that function correctly.
