Add a hint feature

I really like the game. It is quick and not too difficult but I wish you would add a hint option that would work up to three times during a game. I think I would learn more short words from it. After a while, I would probably shut it off.

Could be fun but the completely random nature of the letters you get ruins any fun

The idea is fine, but the way it randomly selects letters is too random. Starting a game with ten vowels in a row is a joke and forces repeated restarts just to get usable letters. News flash: This isn’t Hawaiian. English almost never has more than two vowels in a row. Need more consonants

Latest update makes this great game unplayable

I love Moxie and have been playing it for years but the latest update changed the color of the letters from black to white, making them extremely hard to see against the wood grain background. I have to believe that this is an oversight as this color change could not have been intentional. Please fix it!!

An old fave

It does seem like it’s giving serial vowels often though, which isn’t conducive to making many words, since later when I need to “buy a vowel” 😉 I’ve used them all! I too would appreciate more categories of word lists, especially after years of playing.Someone complained their stats weren’t saved. I thought mine were. The game still prompts me to enter new records so I hope so!

Easy yet challenging

I’ve searched hi and low for a fun, challenging word game and this is it. I’ve tried about 20 diff word apps and this fills almost all of my needs. I have found there a few words that need to be accepted, ie doe, female deer. But overall I’m enjoying this immensely.

Disappointed

When I first started to play moxie , it was fun and exciting. I finally got a decent score and I was thrilled, and I thought I would get better with more game play. That didn’t happen, in fact I became worse! Who ever heard of that happening!? The only reason I added this is because I really enjoy other Blue Ox games and I wanted more. I must say, this is the worst one. After having this game for barely a month l am ready to delete it and most likely will.

A Different Word Game

Something quite different from the typical word games that give you many letters at once! I love this game because it is different and encourages me to plan ahead, and strategize letter use for animal, vegetable or mineral. I find that I am very good at mineral, terrible at animal, so there’s always a challenge!

A GREAT Word Game!

I love word games and this one is top-notch! There are a lot of crossword games, puzzle word games, word scrambles, word finds; the list goes on (and I love them all!). But there is only one Moxie! It’s fun and easy to play, not to mention addictive; but with skill, focus, and a bit of strategy you can get the high scores! That’s when it gets really challenging and FUN!! (Tip: learn the Moxie words!)

Addictive!

I like challenging word games, such as Boggle, Scrabble, etc. I have tried at least a dozen other word games. This is the only one, so far, that’s sustained my interest and kept me engaged. Seems simple, but it’s not. I find myself saying “Just one more round” over and over.
