Indispensible

Love this app even though some functionality has now been added to similar calendar tools. The biggest benefit I get out of this is having the simple countdown to my next Zoom. My calendar generally has a ton of stuff on it, but Meeter helps wade through my personal and work events to stay on top of the meetings that matter. I do have some issues w/ launching Teams from this that I can't figure out, but I lean towards that being an issue w/ Teams because it's the worst of all the meeting aps out there. I also love that there is a quick dial feature, as many at work are now into just calling w/ Zoom too. Thank you for making this!

a must have for the wfh future

If you work remotely as many do, you need this app to DRAMATICALLY cut down on wasted time spent clicking around. Not only does it remind you but it lets you set up your settings to (among other things) launch the Zoom native app directly instead of the annoying browser window that then asks permission to launch Zoom. I literally have a hotkey mapped to just join my next meeting, instantly, so I never have to go into my calendar app, hunt, and drill in with several clicks to get the join link. This software is presently being offered fully free, but I have to admit, I'd be forced to pay for it immediately if that ever changed. Thanks to the developer for doing such an amazing job on this!

Thank you!

I have so many virtual meetings now, and my company uses several different platforms (Teams, Slack, Zoom, BlueJeans, etc.). I had trouble keeping the detail straight and was continually opening my calendar to check details or grab a link because I was trying to join through the wrong app. Thanks to Meeter, I don't even think about the details anymore. I can see my upcoming meetings at a glance, and the notifications allow me to join the correct platform with a click.I purchased the pro version a while ago and consider it money well spent. I am so impressed that they've chosen to make the pro version free as a response to the pandemic. This app removes some amount of stress and worry, and we need all of that we can get right now. Thank you.

Almost perfect app

This is a very useful app, but two issues keep me from loving it.1. Most of my zoom meetings have passcode. After launching the meeting from Meeter, I still have to go back to my calendar app, open the invite, copy the passcode, go back to the launched meeting, paste in the passcode. At this point it's hardly better than just launching the meeting from Calendar to start with2. The other thing that keeps this from a "one click" meeting launcher is that clicking on "Join Zoom Call" opens the link in the Safari browser, which then asks me for permission to launch Zoom. That is 1 click to approve launch, 2 click to go back to safari, 3 click to close the new tab, 4 click to go back to Zoom.

Super cool and simple utility

This utility is great, especially if you have multiple calendars like I do (one for personal stuff, one for kid activities, one for business and one for misc). This pulls it all together super nicely and prevents me from having to switch between all calendars. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it only allows you to connect the native calendar application shipped with Mac OS. I hate using that calendar and do everything in the browser using Google Calendars. If there was a way to connect my google calendars without having to do that through the native Mac OS calendar App, this utility would be a homerun! That said, super happy with this! Can't wait to see how it continues to evolve over time. Great work!

Great app for virtual meetings

With so many virtual meetings these days, it's a pain to keep track of when my next meeting is and tracking down the link. Meeter is a brilliant solution which always shows a countdown to my next meeting in the toolbar, and with 1-2 clicks I can open the meeting. (I did pay for the pro version) I use this app all the time!I wish that the app had some way to really pop up in front of you when a meeting is starting. It pops up notifications, but notifications can be cluttered, too small, or "do not disturbed". Or I wish it had an option to automatically open the next meeting at the meeting time. I know their other app "Bardeen" can do this - but it is really heavy/complex for what I want, which is just simply to have Meeter make sure I can't miss when a meeting is starting.

Loved this app, then got a 2021 Macbook Pro 16" and now have major issues.

I used to LOVE this app and would rave about it to every person who had a Mac and lived a life of Zoom Meetings. This was hands down one of the best ways to streamline when my next meeting was, and how to easily join it. ... And then I got the new 2021 Macbook Pro 16" with the notch at the top of the screen, right where the menu bar is, and now this app just gets in the way of things. I'm not sure why, but the ability to put max number of characters for meeting titles seems to have disappeared. Meeter now eats up really valuable menu bar real estate space, and doesn't seem to work well with the notch at all. I'm really hoping this app gets updated and this gets fixed.

Fantastic app! Few minor issues...

This increadible little app REALLY helps me be on time for meetings! A few improvements to the Advanced Preferences would get it to 5 stars for sure. Keep up the great work!!⓵ Countdown: Add option to show countdown ONLY for meetings on the current date... on Saturday morning, I don't want to see a countdown to my first meeting on Monday!! Alternatively, add ability to toggle the countdown on/off with a hotkey.⓶ Hotkey: Allow user to set their own hotkey(s). ⓷ Opening browsers/native apps: Allow the user to add to the list of apps available in the dropdown menu. E.g. Eipchrome makes it super easy (no coding at all - highly recommed!!) to create a customized standalone application for handling Google Meets, and I'd like that to be available.

Such a great idea and a product

This is a product does what you'd expect, and does it so well. Once it's set, it just works. Getting into meetings isn't that big of a deal, but having this app makes you realise, well getting in to a meeting can be worth you precious minutes each day. While I've had this app, not once I've had to go into the calendar to click on a meeting link or even look at the time on when my meeting is scheduled since the countdown timer is such a great feature. Auto notification right before the meeting starts is another great part that has made me much more punctual.

Excellent to join events in a timely manner, but in-app Pro license lacks iCloud Family Sharing

Pro-version concerns aside, my only functional complaint thus far is that Meeter displays repeated, duplicate notifications for the same events and offers no option to limit the notifications. I like Meeter, but I will only upgrade to a "Pro" version if the Pro purchase can be shared in my iCloud Family. Requiring each family member to buy Pro separately is excessive. I want to be able to purchase it once, and allow my family to use the same version. At present that's just my plus-one/SO, and they use meeting apps only for personal friend and family hangouts, nothing commercial. I want to support app development, but I also refuse to pay into a system that promotes greed in the form of necessitating multiple purchases within the same small household.
