Nice tile layouts but no zoom available

It would be great if you could play it on an iPhone but it's just too small to be able to play. There's no zoom available so there's no point in even trying to play it... It's really too bad :-(

It plays ok but one problem...

After clearing a board, the score then the menu comes up. But where's the PLAY or NEXT button? I clicked the SETTINGS ICON in the right top corner, and I got the next game. Really? Also, there's no RESTART.It's free, yeah, but there's better. I deleted it.

I can't say it isn't fun to play

I really appreciate it's free, and that it's a straightforward solitaire game without the extra fluff that plagues other mahjong solitaire games. The big problem for me is that not all the included combinations are solvable. I like to keep trying until I solve the configuration, but here I run into patterns that are layered in such a way that a solution is impossible. I keep thinking it can't be that hard to weed those out. So I'm asking the developers to do that. If you like to play the way I do, then Midnight Martian 3-d mahjong solitaire is your game.

Update not good

Since the update, the hint and undo do not work. When there are no more moves, it doesn't let you know. This used to be a fun game. Still play but not as much as used to.

Stop the freaking Biden ads!

I really enjoyed playing this game until the last week when all of a sudden up pops child molester & Presidential candidate Sleepy Joe Biden. Indoctrinate some one else. I won’t be back until after the election in November. Too bad. I didn’t mind you pushing other games on us but now politics on a game? Nope. Won’t do it. Bad choice by the developers here...

Cannot get out of program in iPhone X. Disabled the up-swipe gesture to go to the menu. MAJOR BUG!!!!

Problems since the update

I love this app, but since the update it keeps resetting all the scores pretty much every day.

Seems to be fixed

I haven't played long enough to judge the scoring problem, but I assume it's fixed since the hint and undo are working. This is a very busy interface. I appreciate the large characters, but it would be better if there were _some_ "white space" (in this case, beige) around the characters. The tiles could be a smidgen larger and the characters minimally smaller without sacrificing readability. As it is, it's overwhelming reading the packed board. Why would anyone try to play this on an iPhone? Instant headache, I'm sure!

Description

Mahjong solitaire is a solitaire matching game that uses a set of Mahjong tiles rather than cards. The computer game was originally created by Brodie Lockard in 1981 and named Mah-Jongg after the game that uses the same tiles for play. Lockard claims that it was based on a centuries-old Chinese game called "the Turtle".

However, it was not until Activision released Shanghai in 1986 for the Macintosh and Apple IIgs that the game gathered momentum. A version of this game was also included in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows 3.x in 1990 and went by the name Taipei. It was subsequently included in the Best of Windows Entertainment Pack. Premium editions of the Windows Vista operating system and Windows 7 include a version of the game known as Mahjong Titans. As any other successful game, millions of clones have been created on all possible platforms. So why should you give our version a try? We tried to recreate all the fun of original game with 60 different layouts in a tiny download package. A tile that can be moved left or right without disturbing other tiles is said to be exposed. Exposed pairs of identical tiles (Flower and Seasons tiles in the same group being considered identical) are removed from the layout one at a time, gradually exposing the lower layers to play. The aim of the game is to clear the layout by pairing up all the tiles. The game is finished when either the layout is empty, or there are no exposed pairs remaining.
