Stick with the free version

The paid version hasn’t functioned correctly since I purchased it. I’m using a workaround provided by the company’s customer service to make due.The feature to link custom sessions to reminders does work. It has to be turned off yo switch between sessions. The reminder notifications doesn’t show the correct sessions to be completed. I have two custom sessions, but the notifications display always indicate the second session is to be completed even if the notification should be for the first. So far, this app is not worth the $9.99 l paid.

Love the app - but the update confuses me

Have been using the Kegel app for 6 weeks without ever mentioning it to my husband and one night he literally said “why is your p***y so strong? Have you been working out?!” Why yes, yes I have!Side note: the new update has advanced workouts focused on sexual strength and stamina for MEN, but only post-childbirth advanced workouts for WOMEN. Umm, I am a woman who uses this for sexual performance! And the avatar figure is masculine presenting, too. Would be nice to be able to customize these options.

This apps tight

I'm pregnant for the first time and just now in my second trimester! That being said, I could already feel myself becoming bigger down there... this was proven when I had morning sickness and straight up peed down my leg into my boot from vomiting so hard. So, I did my research and all I have read is in support of doing pelvic floor exercises before and after childbirth! So here I am and I'm loving the app for helping me remember. SIDE NOTE: My man already noticed and said something about how tight and good I feel after a week of doing just session one exercises. I run thru all of them in one go tho everyday.

Would like more control/flexibility

Overall, I really like this app for its simple interface and some of the discreet settings (the book mode is awesome!). However, I wish I had more control and flexibility on selecting which sessions I want to do and when. I don’t like that my custom sessions have to be linked to a specific time of day/reminder and I can’t do a different type of session at that time if I want. For example— the built in exercises, especially in the early levels, are short but I created a custom session that’s about 8 minutes long; I have this custom session set to the afternoon, but sometimes I end up needing to do a shorter session in the afternoon and can do the longer, custom session at another time. But there’s no way for me to select what type of session I want to do when I open the app. I can only do the session designed for that particular time of day/reminder and can’t do a different session until that one is completed. If some flexibility giving me control of allowing me to select which exercises I do at any given time were incorporated in the app, I would rate it 5 stars.

Most Useful Kegel App But Could Use Some Improvements

This app is the most thorough Kegel app I have used. The app has really improved since the last update, and the vibrations are a nice implementation.I would prefer if the All Purpose workout plan included both Strength and Relaxation, but it seems like you can only focus on one at a time, which I feel defeats the purpose of being All Purpose. Maybe switching between two different workout types could be nice in the future. I would also like to see this app being paired with an Apple Watch that uses only the vibrations of the watch so it can be discreet. That’s my main issue with Kegels in general: if you want to do it consistently, sometimes you have to do in public. So to be able to do in through your watch with the only indications being vibrations, I feel that’d be most useful. Also, I feel some of the Reverse Kegels exercises are trivial. The app doesn’t explain how Reverse Kegels are useful, and they seem more like meditative exercises than anything, since they’re just regular breathing exercises. Maybe if the app explained how or what the purpose is, it won’t seem so fruitless.

Vaginismus & App Feature Request

Hi! I’m a long time sufferer of vaginismus, and came across your app as a way to train, like i trained in pelvic floor physical therapy. However, I’m doing reverse kegels, instead of squeeze it’s more like “relax/push”. It would be neat if there was an option for reverse kegels. I currently ‘relax’ when it says squeeze and rest when it says rest, but it would do my brain a great service to have a feature (or toggle) for gals like me that have to train the pelvic floor to chill out. On day 5, do three at a time before bed with the vagi-wave and so far been good otherwise. Just said to leave a review if we want to see a feature. Reverse Kegels are a thing, and i hope they’ll one day be recognized by the app community. :)

Worth the investment!

Huge fan of the app-- simple interface, non frills easy to use, and most importantly meets my goals of doing exercises 4+ times a day! I was on the fence buying the paid version since the free one worked fine, but was SO glad I did. Can now do customized versions, endless reminders, and change the notification name. Worth the few bucks which would have gone to a cup of takeout coffee anyways. Much better investment here, have been using it for a month and already feel a difference :D

Kegels are so important for pre and post childbirth

but I didn't focus on it pre childbirth. I was focused on the physical aspect of my body and doing exercises. I ignored the inside of my body. Then, I delivered my baby and realized how weak my pelvic floor was. I went for a jump roping at about 6 weeks post pregnancy and peed everything out by accident while jumping. Then, I got the clearance to resume sexual activities and felt so loose. It hit me how kegels are so important!!I have done kegels religiously with this app for about 2 weeks now and hubby noticed. I don't pee when I jump rope or not as much. I still have a lot of work but happy this app exists. It's hard to do them on my own since I lose count or forget I am doing them but the app keeps me on track with the reminders as well.

Having issues with background sounds

I stopped using the app for a couple of months and when I started using it again within the last week I noticed that it lost functionality for me. I typically use a mode with vibrations only so I can use the app on my commute. It’s supposed to be able to continue the exercises even if I start using a different app while keeping PFEI open in the background. However, suddenly I can’t navigate out of the app without the vibrations and exercises stopping. When I get back to the app, each time, the exercise is over and I have to restart. It might still be going but it does stop vibrating. I’ve been talking with the developer about this and wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

Everything I need and most of what I want

Not fancy, and easy to use. A good amount of free exercises, with the ability to make a pretty reasonable one time purchase price. Simple menu layouts that doesn't hide what you want and the ability to change exercise indicators, including a discreet mode if you want. It even gets updates w/ more features exercises occasionally. It's also got some stat tracking I don't really pay attention to.3 things I'd like to see in the future that it doesn't have currently? The ability to run exercises in the background, an infinite exercise counter, and an apple watch app
