Restaurant is great, app is horrendous.

Have a 50/50 shot at getting the scan to work on receipts. Online ordering is a joke for several reasons 1) you cannot order from the whole menu...no option for the kid’s menu items. 2) there are no descriptions of the various chicken salads 3) if you click the wrong button, you end up being taken out of the order and losing anything you’ve previously addedI’m doubtful there will be any meaningful updates to address these issues as I see so many reviews that lament on the same issues, and many are 1-2 years old. I wish corporate and app development cared as much about their customers as the employees at my local store do.

It’s just ok

App is not very user friendly! I think maybe making the selections easier to get to and better clarity on items. For example, I ordered a special and in the picture it appears a drink comes with it but when I placed my order it asked for me to add a drink. And then when I selected my drink it was an added charge which is fine but I also wasn’t able to select my drink. Which would be a nice feature due to me working in a doctor’s office and sometimes we take turns picking up each other’s lunch. Other than that it’s very cute and I absolutely love the rewards systems!

App’s terrible; use website. Food is great!

That sums it up; love the food, but a better app would have me buying from CSC more often!——I waste 10 minutes a week because this app doesn’t show your food order history - and therefore I cannot reorder our Favorites - which exist in my Profile via the website. It’s a pain as I cannot order on the go; I have to remember to log into my computer to place my order before I leave my office or house. I guess I’m a spoiled 50+ person, even Subway’s app is easier to use (and that’s not saying much.)

Hate the app, love the food

I don’t usually do reviews, but this is the absolute worst app I’ve ever used. By time I maneuver through the app trying to get my order placed I’m literally starving. While ordering there are no food description as to what’s in each salad. You have to leave the app and google salad descriptions. After maneuvering through the app trying to get the order placed if you hit the back button before actually placing the food in the cart your entire order is lost. Trust me it’s easier to go through the drive thru during rush hour on a Friday afternoon than it is to use this app.

Meh

So I'm not quite sure how CSC can send me push notifications to let me know to have Bluetooth turned on, but they cannot just send special offers that way. Definitely a head scratcher. Since most locations do not offer Wifi, the day I wanted to redeem my birthday offer, the app wouldn't load, and they wouldn't honor it. I finally had to walk outside, go next door to Noodles and Company, use their Wifi, and walk back to CSC just to use said reward. There needs to be a better way. Until then, three stars.

FIX YOUR APP

I don’t understand why you won’t invest a little money into fixing this awful app for your customers. There are multiple problems and considering all of the bad reviews you have to be aware of them, so why won’t you fix it? I love CSC and I order here a lot. Its so frustrating that the app won’t automatically give me my rewards. I shouldn’t have to email you for them and I shouldn’t have to scan anything! Not to mention all the other stupid issues. I and so many others spend a lot of money in your restaurants. We are your loyal customers and are asking you to fix the issues with this app!

Scanner update is not good

As a long time user of your app, and UX professional, the scanner updates that were made in the last update do not work from a usability standpoint. The image is distorted and there’s feedback to know how to position the receipt to get it to work. Thankfully you can manually enter the number, although that’s less than ideal too, but at least it gives you your points. It seems like someone forget to QA this version. I can’t imagine it passed any kind of usability testing with customers.

Time to update

It’s been a year since the app was updated. It is a bit clunky to use and should be streamlined. A couple ideas: be able to select messages and delete them all at once or swipe to delete. Instead one must open the message, hit delete, approve delete, repeat. Also I would like the ability to view menu items without having to start an order.

No Double Points

The scanner is slightly better, but they went months without sending promo information, like double points day and Giving Card monthly deals. They also didn’t tell us when the new Giving Card was available.The only reason I went in earlier this week was for Double Points Day. Scanned my receipt- NO DOUBLE POINTS. Why bother? I could have gotten rewards anywhere, but I went here specifically for the bonus points. I’ll stick with restaurants whose apps actually work.

Great Food - Horrible App

The App experience is miserable from initial order to check out. Have to enter a credit card since they have no option for Apple Pay or Pay Pal, so you better trust them with your credit card. Seeing how poorly the App experience was, I didn’t want to trust them with security, so that means I’ll need to re-enter CC to use each time. Ordering is challenging, going back or misclicking will often take you to the beginning. From checkout its unclear how to add new items if you decide to order more. Even selecting the location for carry-out is not user friendly. It feels purposely designed to annoy customers. I use many carry out apps, this is by far the worst. But I’ll stay go in and enjoy their food, the app….maybe not again.
