Good food.

Did an app order for the first time. Went to pick it up and waited in the curbside check spot and checked in. Waited for about 6 mins after my order was ready and just went inside. It still wasn’t ready. No problem. I was then handed a cup to get my own drink and told where napkins and stuff were. My sandwich was finally sat on a shelf. Just the sandwich, but hey I was able to go get my own chips and even bag my food myself. Not sure who got the tip from my order but good job doing nothing. The sandwich was really good though. I’ll definitely order again, just won’t tip this time since it’s self serve apparently.

Needs updated

The app needs to be updated. When you order a sandwich it doesn’t show the bread that it normally has in the store but a different one. Then when you pick it up, it’s like it’s always made at the store. Also, there is no where to add notes such as no sour cream, onions, or extra bacon added to potato soup. You have to call the store to tell them what changes to make. App definitely needs a section for you to add notes about your order

Please use Apple Pay or remember card

App works well, but it’s painful to have to find and type in credit card numbers every time. Scan feature doesn’t work with many newer cards that don’t have numbers on front of card. Please implement Apple Pay or give option to store card info in account.

Easy to use but not a good app

When we first started using this app it we were going to Newk’s almost every week. after a couple of months I saw 3 different charges on my bank account. The store said that this is a third party app and the app didn’t charge us those three times so they we’re getting a lot of calls because the app didn’t charge us from previous orders and decided to do it all at once. That’s frustrating when your not expecting a $75 charge to come out of your account. Now, we went to order our usual salads and the app says the salads aren’t available. There’s not even any salad option available. We call into Newk’s and the salads are definitely still available... not sure we’ll be using the app anymore. It was an amazing convenience but doesn’t seem worth the hassle.

Best shrimp Po’Boy!

I met a friend for lunch at the Newk’s Eatery in Buford, Ga. I ordered the 1/2 shrimp Po’Boy and a cup of chicken tortilla soup! Both were great! The 1/2 sandwich was more than enough along with the delicious soup. The bread was fresh and the shrimp plentiful! The soup wasn’t necessarily cream based, but it wasn’t watery either. It had good flavor. It would be nice if they served nacho chips with the soup👍. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We were there around 2:30, so it wasn’t very busy. Until there is a Newk’s near me in FLA, I’ll definitely visit this one when I’m in Atlanta, Ga!

Update forces new account

They “updated their security” but a multi million dollar corporation with access to the best IT and infrastructure can’t figure out how to port over all customer accounts and points? Forced reset and all order history and accumulated points are completely reset to zero? Join tech in 2022 where info like that can be both securely and completely brought into a new system. The fact that it isn’t is cheap and lazy and speaks to this corporation choosing to save a few bucks in order to screw over their customers.

No access to menu without starting order

Tried to rate it low but it would not take my rating. You have to say what kind of order it is and select a pickup or delivery time before you can see the menu. Makes the app useless if you want to spend some time going through the menu then decide to order or not. I like the restaurant but not their app.

Not sure

We LOVE Newk’s! Excited to be traveling and find one in Rogers AR. Went to the ladies bathroom and discovered there was NO soap to wash our hands. This was after lunch time so maybe it was just missed. I did see a female in a Newk’s shirt and let her know. Also I saw our cashier coming out of the bathroom and I asked her if the soap had been filled. She said she didn’t know. Which made me question if she had washed her hands?? Our food was good. Staff was friendly. I’ve been in customer service a long time and my standards are pretty high. Thank you

First Time

Been in East Texas over a year now and never ate at NEWKS. That changed today. Hubby and I got to go and they are FAST. I had pizza and Mac n cheese, Mac n cheese was ok, pizza was delish. Hubby had double club loved it. We also got a brownie and a slice of cake… that will happen later. Portions were generous and the quality was good. The staff was very nice. Will be going again soon.

Great App!

This app makes the ordering process so quick & easy! Everything we've tried from Newk's has been very good & tasty. The only thing I would add is a place for a name on the order - so when you go to pick it up, you can say: "I need to pick up an order for Jenny". Maybe I missed it....if it's there, please tell me where because we'll definitely be ordering from Newk's again! We❤️Newk's!!!
