I literally feel the brain stimulation!

I know this sounds weird but when I play a certain game in this app that works on the lazy area of my brain I feel kind of light headed. Not in the dangerous sense, just almost a bit nauseated. It doesn't last and it's barely noticeable if I ignore it, and stops as soon as I stop exercising that area of my brain! I love the relaxing music. It calms me and helps me refocus. I love that you can set a reminder for daily brain stimulation exercises. The app is very user friendly too!

I really like this app, but...

I just got this app about a week or two ago, and I have played several of the games. It’s a very very fun app with several game choices. My favorite is patterns, which is similar to logic puzzles and sudoku in its approach to problem solving. I also like sets, planning, and logic. The problem I have is that the app does not save your current game if you have to shut your ipad. I think that this is important. Since I wrote about this problem the developer has improved the performance on saves, although it doesn’t always save the last game. Also, I paid for the premium version but I only get it on my iPad. The price must be per device, not owner.

Sets

Love the app! The recent changes make it even better. However, the solution for the Sets is not displayed long enough. The busy background and the almost instantaneous removal of the solution makes it very difficult to determine what I did not get correct. The addition of even two seconds or so would help. The light shades of some of the figures on white, especially when the centers of the figures are white, make it hard to assess very quickly. The app is my go to app daily for relaxation.

Ol’ Reliable

This has been the longest game I’ve had in my phone. I usually delete others due to the abundance of ads (I absolutely understand sitting through ads as a trade off for a free game, but some more recent games I’ve played have been ridiculous, having more ads than playing time). The only ads I get can be skipped after five seconds, and they don’t pop up during the actual games- just before or after. There are several different types of games within this app to choose from, and difficulty levels can be chosen for each one.Another thing I like(d) is that there were no deceptive videos to lure me to download this, as there were with games like “Fishdom” or the “Scapes” series.I hope this app sticks around for a while, because I love it!

These games are relaxing and challenging

These games are relaxing yet engaging and challenging enough to keep my attention focused and entertained. 1). I paid the full $4.99 expecting to get access to more than what I already had. But things did not change much from the free version to the paid version. 2) the “sets” exercise does not work properly. Three times now I could not finish the exercise by the app kept saying “not a set” when according to the rules my selections were “sets”. Eventually I have to quit the “sets” exercise because I have difficulty completing that one exercise.

Pretty fun

Love the game. Been playing for years. This game I love but I’ve noticed nearing the end of 2022 more ads popping up. I can’t enjoy the game anymore because I have to friggin wait to play. Love the game but will delete because I HATE adscommercials anything which interrupts what I’m watching or playing. Ads r like the spam pop ups from the 90’s. Completely irritating and annoying.Thank you for a really entertaining game of which unfortunately I will no longer play. U took away the last good puzzle game with junk. Dang :(

Programming Needs to Follow Descriptions

Pattern matching. Seems simple. In programming, though, I expect it's quite complicated. The definition in game is a bit ambiguous, but the programming does not match the definition. The definition does not specify that ALL attributes must be the same or different, so clearly at least one set of attributes must be different in order to form a set. But what if 3 attributes are different? The programming doesn't recognize this. I'll give an example from level 4. Colors are magenta, teal, and green. Patterns are striped, blank, and filled. Shapes are triangle, square, and circle. Only the number is the same for each in the set: two. But the programming doesn't recognize this set, even though it fits the definition.By the way, the definition implies that it is possible to match cards that are completely identical in every way (all four attributes match) but clearly the game doesn't provide such opportunities. So perhaps the definition should be revised to clarify how the programming actually handles sets internally.

Too many ads, not enough time

These are familiar puzzles, present in many other apps such as Lumosity and Word Jigsaw. I do like how you can choose your level of difficulty. However, there is an ad after each and every puzzle, and some of them are long and don’t easily allow you to exit. There ends up being as much ad time as puzzle time. Also, there is not enough time to view a “solution” to a puzzle, especially with the “Sets” puzzle. This is very frustrating, especially if you want to get a better sense of the logic the puzzle uses. I’m usually pretty good at this type of puzzle, but gave up on this one. In short, not enough here for me to pay to avoid all the ads. I now play the Logic puzzle and that’s about it.

Need more time

I really like the variety of games and the fact that it is paced to my ability. Due to a tumor I am having trouble with some of the rules, especially with the word games. If I need to pass the answers appear too quickly to help me understand what I have done wrong or help me move concepts to long term memory. Give me more time to understand or allow me to look at answers for as long as I need would really help. On the bright side the variety is helping me learn where the deficits are and showing me which skill sets are better. That helps me be positive knowing I am showing improvement. I would give this app 4.5 stars if the rules were better written and/or the timing of answers allowed me to figure the rules out on my own.

Best Meditative Developer!

I’ve been playing Sarah’s brain yoga app for several years and it always helps me to calm down and refocus my brain. It’s a must have on turbulent flights! I’ve downloaded her other games for the high quality of graphics, simplicity of use, outcome of brain stimulation, and meditative quality without adding to screen addiction temptation. Sarah truly creates games that feel healthy and helpful to use, bringing back the true joy of entertainment rather than creating impulsive addiction issues through psychological warfare on players like some big name developers do in the name of profit. Thanks for keeping integrity and true fun at the heart of your games! A++
