Love this app

I would definitely recommend this app to all!!! 10/10! I’m a yoga beginner and this app offers a really great start and really awesome lessons. I got this app after trying many other yoga apps. Most yoga apps make you pay in order to get good lessons. This one, yes, had in app purchases required to get a personalized plan, but offers really great plans for free. I didn’t pay for a personalized plan, but I am so much better at yoga than when I started! This app is amazing! I enjoy my sessions- they are incredibly calming and helpful! ❤️❤️❤️

The best I have ever used

Let me start with how this app understands the real world. Very calm and soothing and completely at your own pace. I have used other exercise apps and this one is by far the best. The voice is soothing the music is soothing and they let you know not to hurt yourself. You are not expected to do what they are doing if you have not reached that level. I love that. I suffer from fibromyalgia and pain, weight gain and swelling of joints all comes with it. I would use an exercise app I would be in so much pain even a month after. This app doesn’t do that. I feel better when I’m done. And I can do my plan as many time as I choose too. I missed 3 days once and that was a bad idea for me. My fibromyalgia also causes my muscles to cramps and then I have to start stretching all over again. I haven’t missed anymore days and I find that I can’t go one day without my practice. I just want to say Thank You to all who are involve in making this app. I send love and light to you all. Abbie

Love this app

This app is awesome I’ve used every second I’ve got it and I’ve had it for 8 hours! I really think this is perfect for people who love meditation and yoga. Plus subscription is completely free! Before getting the app I thought it was to good to be true, but hey I have been proved wrong. This app is amazing for free time in quarantine which I know just about everyone has 😂 so why not use it to improve your flexibility and mind skills! If your looking for an app we’re you can spend just even 5 minutes to relax this is for you

Self-indulgent to the point of illogical

Terrible layout and nonsensical sessions. Each session is designated either “easy,” “medium,” or “hard.” The “easy” ones are ridiculously simple and could more be described as stretching as opposed to starting off with basic asanas. But then for some reason, an advanced asana is thrown right into the middle of all that less than basic stretching. Then after doing the exact same stretching for FOUR sessions, it moves the student on to the sessions deemed “medium,” which are anything but. These are four more sessions that are actually way more advanced asanas than what would be considered “medium,” and the instructors move quickly through them, which just makes no sense for someone having just learned stretches for the past four sessions. And yet again, highly advanced moves are thrown in as though the instructors just feel the need to show off their skills. I mean… The Crane… really??? The whole app has a very arrogant, self-congratulatory vibe to it, like someone was so impressed with their own yogi abilities they felt they just HAD to “teach” it… yet they do anything BUT actually teach yoga. Ridiculous app.

Incredible but a few things

First off, the app is amazing and I've grown very attached to it. But a couple things. It’s not something I would suggest for beginners. I'd suggest it for people who have dabbled a bit in yoga. Thankfully, I have experienced yoga before, so I had a lucky start. But I understand not everyone does yoga. So it might not be the best app for younger people or people who have never done at least a bit of yoga before. But I really enjoy the different varieties of sessions. They are super fun to do and I actually struggle with trying not to repeat sessions! I once found myself wanting to do more sessions AFTER I’d finished my workout. Also, I don’t know if this is just for me, but my phone refuses to allow a yoga plan. It always says that there’s an issue. Please try again later. All in all, great app. Just not for beginners.

Great app! Not great for beginners...

I have to commend this app for a variety of things. It has a great selection of classes to take and gives you your own customized plan all for free! This is the only yoga app I have found that gives you access to more than just a couple sessions without having to purchase a paid subscription and that is amazing and makes it great for people who are just getting into yoga. However, the customized plans, or the one for me at the very least, is not very beginner friendly. The first group of classes was “easy” but included bridge pose and plow pose, which I would not consider beginner or easy poses by any means. Then it progresses into the next group of classes and it’s medium difficulty but includes crow and crane poses. After this group, it immediately progresses to hard classes with complicated poses. I want to improve my skills and I do appreciate them introducing more complex poses to us but I wish they would walk you through how to do the pose and progress up to it.

Great App

Worth the subscription. You start by doing just 5 minutes and the sessions gradually get longer. Every four sessions, they switch up the routine so you do it just enough to learn the poses but never get bored, steadily moving into new challenges. I have been easing into it as I don’t typically work out At All and this has been a nice transition. I feel less stressed, more in tune with my body and starting to feel stronger and more flexible already after finishing session 28. Took me a few months to get there just doing it about twice a week, but the key is not to give up on yourself. The more you do it, the more you’ll really begin to enjoy it.

Finally, the app we’ve all been waiting for!

This app is amazing- tailors a custom multi-week plan to fit your needs. (+if you want more, there’s another menu for sessions for all kinds of needs!). And it’s completely free!! I’ve been looking for an app just like this for years and now I’ve found it! I’m so excited to continue finding peace and achieve my goals with this easy to use, amazing app. It’s made huge changes for me now and I can’t even imagine how I’ll feel when I’m complete with my personalized program.

Not for beginners...but it’s awesome!

I had a different and free app that I used to use and was commuted to for the first few months of this year, then to be honest, I was finding myself both bored and not feeling physically challenged anymore, enter this app! It’s got a great videos of each flows including modifications if needed, but like many have already said, this isn’t for those who haven’t ever done yoga before. If you have a good solid foundation of yoga you will love this!

Great free content

What I really love about this app is that you get real, actual flows for free. I’ve tried lots of different yoga apps that give you a free trial for a day or a week but then make you pay to continue. I was so surprised to find that Sunsa Yoga is free and has so much content to choose from. Not only do you get daily flows, you can also choose from many options to work different parts of the body or different skills. While there’s not an option for personalized flows or other features you might find on subscription training apps, and most of the flows are rather repetitive, there is still so much more content than I expected for a free app. It has about the same if not more than some other apps that do require a subscription. I am very pleased with the yoga I get to do in my own home without having to pay.
