App is frozen

It says get notified of job invites, messages and new payments right away and has a big circle with a speaker in the middle and an option at the bottom to skip but I can’t do anything because it won’t go past this screen. Can somebody advise on what I’m doing wrong. Also when filling out my address for tax info, it will not let me add my condo unit #. Yes I live at the street address it says in the drop down menu but so do 50 other residents so how do I enter my unit # if it won’t let me. I didn’t expect to be hung up while entering my info but here I am, asking somebody to help me get past registration

Too many bugs!

This app has far too many issues for serving such basic functionality. Work orders which are no longer available constantly show as available. Only way to get them to stop showing is to delete app and install again. App freezes when loading work order from notification screen. You apply for a work order and it duplicates in the available and sometimes doesn’t show in applied. Very frustrating!

On demand work you control

Companies use WM to bid out work they need done to qualified available labor. Some test your abilities and if you have them, that’s no problem. But you won’t be able to bluff, not should you.For the worker or service provider, it lets you bid based on you abilities and willingness to work for certain, available levels of pay and “meet in the middle” of the ask/sell process of settling on what you want to receive vs what “they” are willing to pay.If you want to much, you may need to settle or not work. If “they” don’t want to pay what you want, their work might languish until they raise their rates, if economically feasible.WM has so far been a great platform for that “give and take”, at least for me.I’m “retired” but want to work and am able to, to get spending money.Beats Instacart and the like, even in $7.25/hr Alabama.Carpe diam.

Necessary Evil

For small business owners like myself WorkMarket is critical...I’ve earned the majority of my income through WorkMarket and through the connections I’ve made on here. That being said the app really needs a revamp. Literally (not exaggerating) I can’t log in with the app because it doesn’t recognize the format of my 2nd factor authentication??? I copied and pasted my code...and if I try to log in a browser it’s no problem. I’ve had issues with loading pics or documents. I’ve had issues with jobs not updating after the ticket owner has made updates. I’ve had issues with it not letting me check in to a ticket I’ve had issues with it not letting me check out of a ticket...that was a fun one trying to explain that to the company I was working for. The app has A LOT of issues and the reason I’m writing a negative review is because this is a tool I NEED...and I’m sure I’m not alone...WorkMarket is a good platform we can do better integrating the app...please!

Does not function

Multiple issues in the app for over a year now with no fix in place since the inception of the errors. Do not use!!!If you do, be forewarned that initially it will work and appear normal. Over time the app will (as on the case of the previous review) glitch out and provide erroneous content. I use this on an apple device. It may be an apple specific issue, but technical support would not verify this. My first call for this issue was about 23 months ago or longer. There as no repair, and tech support stated that I would be better to use the web based app.I lost several thousand dollars during the first glitch... I would apply for work only to find that it was already taken by another worker. The assignments that showed up were for the most part bogus as they were months old or not specific to my search criteria even though that had been entered multiple times.The only thing that I would attempt to use the app for was for assignments that I had applied to as I could see if those were still out there or taken by another worker. That feature is not available in the web app.

WM has changed my life Seriously.

I am now working full time doing what I love Technology at my own termsIf you take this app serious it can easily replace a job, just note you will have to build up your profile for it!Background check and drug testing is an optional perk you can add to your profile to help qualify you for the better jobs when starting out. It’s not required though.Try this app out if your in need a side gig and you have a good familiarity with technology.

Cannot manage on app.

1. Cannot adjust check in/out time on app. Must go to browser.2. Picture uploads is finicky and not a upload and walk away product.A. Can only select a max of 10 photos at a time, and must cycle through again to upload more than 10.B. If all the thumbnails do not show up before hitting “Done”, your pictures are lost and you have to re upload.3. When checking in and I select Make Call, I have to confirm 3 times before it dials.

Current version is completely broken.

I love the app and use it daily for work however the latest update has completely broken the app for iPhone 11 Pro Max. The app consistent asks for photo, what’s my job, where I am, what’s my skill set... consistently even during the worst time. I’ll be uploading deliverables and that splash page comes up asking again the information above. I tried deleting the app and it comes back. Same issues. Every time I open the app it asks for this information. I hate to give such a salty review but this is a problem. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one with this issue. It doesn’t happen on iPhone 8 or other business iPhones just the 11 pro max and my company has 4 of them all with the same issue on different Apple IDs.

So many good things.

I like that I can initiate payments from my phone. But, there are some issues. I have invitations showing on my home page. Maybe 4 invitations. When I touch the button, there are so many jobs, I really can’t identify which I’m being invited to. Most of them are stale dates, and I can’t find a way to get rid of them. Same thing with jobs near me. If you guys can WRITE this APP, it seems line you ought to be able to fix the bugs. There really doesn’t seem to be any effort to fix any of it. Since my work is picking up on WM, hopefully your overall volume is, and maybe there is something in the budget to fix the UI.

There’s No Way You Can’t Do Better

Maybe they’re just not interested in maintaining my area but my entire experience with this app/company was less professional than playing office with my toddler. There were major issues from start (background check for which I paid was not reflected in the account) to finish (“you guys should consider hiring me to train your customer service team”) and the so-called support network was less interested in me than I would have expected; they didn’t do a single thing without prompt and actually actively used ghosting as a stratagem. I aspired to feeling like a number; I felt like a clueless idiot arguing with a bot. Most of the work involved a heavy investment from me with only an average return. If you value your contribution in the slightest bit this pathway leads to frustration and disappointment. If you’re on the other side of things I would advise proceeding with even more caution: they straight DGAF about the candidate pool which leads me to believe that they’re just underbidding everyone across the board (though I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they couldn’t even do that right). You get what you pay for. Don’t expect anything more than a body - if you get a modicum of dedication it a bonus and a reflection of the individual. This app does nothing better than anyone; if it were to disappear tomorrow only a handful of people would notice.
