Asurion is a scam! Pay money for an app that freezes when trying to get tech support!

Paid money for your service when I bought Epson printer at Staples a few days ago. The other reviewers are right... once you type in your service provider, your app freezes! Your service is totally worthless! You are stealing money from people providing an app that prevents people from getting help! You don’t even provide a phone number on your email! What kind of service company are you that refuses to give your phone number??? Your company is a sham! Will be telling manager at Staples store today when I ask for a refund!!!

Stuck at the service provider

I can’t use this app because, as other reviewers have indicated, I get stuck when asked to enter a service provider. I see a developer response from last November indicating this is a high priority yet it’s still happening so I can’t be that high of a priority.

What a blessing

Was having issues getting my iMac, iPad and iPhones to connect. Had to do some hard core stuff to get everything working again. Huge help. Highly recommend

Caveat Emptor - Asurion has no phone support.

You can only contact them through online chat. Staples should be ashamed of themselves for teaming up with them. I purchased my “protection plan” a few days ago when I bought a new printer. Somewhere in the installation process I lost my 5G internet. Instead of actual help, I got a tech net-opped into my phone randomly clicking on stuff and some gibberish about not hooking the printer up to my WiFi. He never did get my 5G back. Maybe the cable company can help. At least, they have phone support. And YES - I will be asking Staples for a full refund.

Major bug that prevents progress

Same problem here that the rest of the reviewers have stated before. There’s a bug in the app that doesn’t not let you progress further. It gets stuck on the “Phone Provider” question. You can type your provider and click the arrow to proceed but nothing happens. You don’t proceed and the chat gets stuck. You cannot do anything after that point. This is a serious bug that needs to be fix ASAP. The bug completely breaks the app as it is not usable.

Worthless App

This is a worthless app. It doesn’t even work. I put in my info..like it asked. When I got to the question about my service provider it wouldn’t allow me to move on. It provided no content what so ever. I tried asking questions but got no answers. In my opinion this app is completely useless!!
