Money hungry scum
I downloaded this app due to the claim you could enable haptic feedback. Turns out that feature is stuck behind a paywall and you have to pay for it. That was never mentioned in the pictures bragging about the feature.SwiftKey and Gboard offer this feature for free, probably why both those keyboards have significantly more downloads than this one. Oh well.
Please Fix the lag and update this awesome tool
please fix the lag on this keyboard. The delay is noticeable when typing quickly causing many spelling errors. I paid for this app and would love to use it as my main keyboard when this is fixed!!!
No Swipe Input=not so swift
I got this thinking it would be like the now-discontinued Swype keyboard, which was perfect -- it had extra characters available via long press AND swipe input. This one does not allow swipe input, and the extra characters don't seem to activate very easily. This is a good idea but poorly executed. Not recommended.
Been waiting for this since I was jailbroken.
Why hit button when the keyboard can swipe a symbol. There wouldn't be a shift button, if typewriters could swipe back in the day.
I want to love it
It's very slow, so not good if you're a fast typer. The haptic feedback is nice, but using this keyboard is too frustrating. The autocorrect is pretty bad and doesn't tell you before it corrects a word. I miss the pop up keys whenever pressing a key. It's got good bones, but there are some small things that could be done to improve this app to be the best keyboard out there.
Oh well :/
I wish you were still updating this app. I would have poured my money into this one of a kind app. Swipe would have competed this beauty but it seems that all good things must confess to an end.
Inconsistent, Frustrating, NO INFO ON DATA PRIVACY
IF YOU ENJOY BEING FRUSTRATED, THIS APP'S FOR YOU. I've had the SwiftKey app for as long as I can remember and this isn't it. I tried and tried to be patient and get used to its defects because no keyboard is perfect; however, this is a product that's still in development. The autocorrect only works every so often, which will really test one's patience. The extra length in it's vertical design will cause you to constantly miss the spacebar, and because of the practically nonexistent autocorrect, you have to constantly stop and do manual corrections and you're in luck if the swipe-delete will even comply. Not for anyone that needs to type as fast as their fingers can move, or even at the average speed. NO DISCLOSURE ON HOW OUR DATA IS BEING USED. What happened to the original SwiftKey??
I'm In Love
I typed my review with this app. I purchased my first iPhone in late 2014 and after using Blackberries for years, had given up hope of ever finding a decent iOS compatible keyboard-- Until now. Although the SwiftBoard isn't perfect, it is BY FAR the best text-friendly (iOS) keyboard that I've managed to find. Here are the pros: A). English teachers, rejoice! With this app, it is now possible to use numbers and standard punctuation without having to jump between multiple screens; this app has renewed my hope for the future of the written word! B). To insert the alternative number/punctuation/symbol, users only need to slide a thumb "up" or "down to select the correct option and C). The spell check is very accurate. Although I'm obviously infatuated, the one flaw that I have found is that the keys/text are very small, though (so far) my typing errors have been minimal. To take it to the next level (after enlarging the keyboard), it would be great if the developer could include a personalizable 5th row and a search option (like GBoard).... Because of this app, I may actually consider a future iPhone purchase. Thank you!
It just keeps getting better
I write almost no reviews, but I feel compelled here. I LOVE haptic feedback on keyboards. This app has finally brought a haptic keyboard to iOS that feels great and natural. With the latest update (as of 09/18) , this has become my default keyboard. Autocorrect is greatly improved and this keyboard is fantastic. Keep it up!
Missing swipe to type words
I love the additional characters from one keyboard with gestures, but having to peck at keys to type words is frustrating. (Bought the full version thinking that unlocked the gesture and swipe settings.)
