Unique approach, two flaws

Stick notes carry along the concept of “embodied design”, which implies that your space and your note must coexist so you can “live” your projects more mindfully. The approach of a widget centered app is awesome not only because it is straightforward, but because it detours the traditional app containment that breaks off with embodied design. On the flip side, the “ID management” is really bad, and hard to figure out actually. The approach is also vulnerable to Apple’s widget management system, so after you add your first note, Apple presumes you won’t repeat the same widget and the app for all way down the widget list at “W” alphabetic position. So expect lots of scrolling after your first widget :(

Works, but frustrating

I like the list mode of this app, but I don’t like that it is so difficult to move the new list to your Home Screen. The app makes it easier to create a new note within the app. Then when you are ready to move the note to your Home Screen, it is impossible. The only way to get a note on your home is to move start it there, which is counterintuitive to how the app naturally works. Then if you do have a new note on the Home Screen and you want to change the title from the default “sticky widget” it removes your note from the home screen and replaces it with a blank note. Also, this blank note does not have the new title either. It does the job, but if I have to hunting for my notes, it’s not really as helpful. Considering looking for something else that fits my needs better and doesn’t waste so much of my time.

Good concept. Needs work.

On my iPhone, the font can now be smaller when inputting it, but on the note it’s so big that it wraps a single word. I wrote Respond and half the word is on the next line. Seems scaling should be turned on. Also I did try adding several widgets to have several notes. They all had the same single note on it and when I changed one, they all changed. The restore feature does nothing. The first widget let me select one of three colors. Adding another widget and that was taken away and only yellow remained. This is a good try but not yet ready to work.-edit as developer respondedStarting to see some progress here but still lacks some basic things. The developer sounds a lot like an engineer, needs to work a bit more UX. Sure stickies should be numbered but with no list to select the numbers, and no labels for the numbers all you have is a guess unless you are one of those people that remembers a random number and your note. Basically, the concept needs to be reworked as a note platform first, with a sticky note option. Simple delete a note swipe. Select which note will be on the widget from the main app with a simple select or check box. Speaking of check boxes, you should be able to prioritize and dismiss a sticky note so it can be used like a to do list. Add alarm functionality and you have a basic app!

How to multi note - Got it!

I was looking for a way to label each home screen on my iPhone. Thought I would give this a try, and initially had some trouble figuring out how to make different notes a widget. Watched the tutorials and discovered to do this. 1 Key, rename the note to something easy to remember. 2 Then add a widget to the new page which will look like the same widget as before, which is confusing. 3 Then long hold to edit that widget and turn on “set with name”. 4 Then type in the name of the note you want as the widget and Voila! Your correct note will now appear as the widget. Looking forward to using this app to categorize each page on my phone. Thank you!

Last update made it so you have to pay for everything!!

I got this app for free awhile ago. And everything on it was free. font styles, background colors, widget sizes and everything. I liked that the app was free and all the features were free. You don’t find that very often with apps because you have to pay for most apps like this. However, I haven’t used the app in awhile because I don’t always need a sticky note on my Home Screen. This morning, I opened the app to create a sticky note to remind myself of something and I see that I can’t even change my background color, font style, widget size or anything without having to pay. Every time I go to change anything a window pops up that’s says I have to pay 3$ just to change the dang color. Like don’t get me wrong 3$ is cheap but I can also write my notes down on a piece of paper for free… I will save my 3$ and delete this stupid app.

Good app. Update problems

I like the app. Very simple and useful. However, the update erased my note, and I see no way to change fonts, alignment, etc, including the premium features I purchased. Settings for the app have almost nothing. I am running iOS 14.0.1 on a 11 Pro Max. I’m still rating it 5-stars, because I expect the problem to be solved. One possible clue, something seems to flash before the keyboard appears, but then is hidden by the keyboard, which I see no way to lower. Could that be where the settings are supposed to be.Update: I tried this on my iPad and saw a note to long-press the note to access settings. This works, so the lost note is the only casualty; fortunately I only had one, but I’d be pretty annoyed if I had a bunch.

Simple+Functional

This app takes great advantage of iOS 14's widgets and nails the functionality of putting reminders or short lists directly on your Home Screen. I've been using it alongside my more full featured todo app (which can easily get cluttered) to simply ID the top 3-5 things to do in a given day, and then they are in front of me every time I glance at my phone. Love it!!I did have one glitch with the 2.0 update and, after playing with it, realized that it seems to be due to the new iCloud sync feature. Since my iCloud is full (I don't pay for it, so that's a near permenant reality), it wasn't actually saving any of my changes (I only use it on my phone at this point). I fixed it by going into the iCloud settings and turning off the slider for iCloud access for the app. Now everything's back to bring groovy. 😎Thanks for the hard work on this app!

ADHD Lifesaver

Wow, they really are just like sticky notes. No fuss, no opening and closing an app and searching through other notes, they’re just on your screen. I have a whole Home Screen page that’s just layered sticky notes and it’s super helpful. Personally, I bought the upgrade and found it well worth it, the gradients are cool (try dragging the dots around btw) and it feels nice to support this app’s developer. And even better, it’s not a monthly/yearly subscription!!! Many thanks to the dev, and if you’re the kind of person who covers your house in sticky notes, now you can take them with you!

Great app! One bug: Dark Mode

Hey! For starters this is an absolute life saver. The ability to either create a list for daily function or a simple note for inspiration immediately shows how thought out this app is. Being able to further customize your phone beyond the basic automatic widgets is refreshing. The bug: if the users phone is set on dark mode, the original widget will not show up. When going into your widget settings, the “Sticky Widgets” list shows up just fine when the user is not in dark mode. But, when they are, the app will not be listed whatsoever. The problem is fixed if the user quickly switches to light mode, adds the widget, and then goes back to dark mode. But this is an unnecessary and unwanted extra hassle.Would be five stars otherwise!💜🖤💜

Help PART 2

So now the problems below are fixed - but now when you add info to a sticky note or delete info and save it, it doesn’t save, it reverts back to what it was....sigh....I keep trying to love this app. Please fix!I love the idea of this app. But the instruction screen is often on instead of my sticky note. Also when i try to delete text, it jumps down to the bottom and deletes. MyPhone is up to date and I have the most current version of the app. Any suggestions? Also sometimes the font size is very small even when it’s set to a very large font size...HELP!
