Almost perfect
This app is almost perfect. The only small things I would change is that it would expand the more I typed in, instead of disappearing the way it does now, and that it would show up on my lock screen.Besides those tiny deets, it’s been magical. I put my immediate To-Do’s on it that I need to reference in order, and it’s just a swipe, and voila! It’s easy to use, and it’s just been such a great tool for me! Highly recommended!
Basic but it works
Great for quick reminders. Been using it about 3 months regularly. I would suggest making it more adjustable. I wanted to put in a short grocery list so I could just glance at it while shopping but it only showed the first 3 or 4 things. A smaller font option would’ve worked though. A list option would be great, bulleted. And the option to change the centering would be helpful too. But I think this is the best one out there for quick notes, simple and dependable.
Handy dandy
I love using this app, it’s nice to be able to make a quick note and I like that I can make it bigger on my wallpaper so that I can see my important notes quickly. I do wish that I could have more than five notes and then I could fit more than I can fit now on a page. I tend to run out of room on each page and I tend to need more pages because I don’t want to delete the notes that I have to add more.
Almost Too Simplistic
I like the app, it does exactly what I wanted so no complaints there. Visually, however, I’m not crazy about it. I know widgets have rounded edges, but I’d love it if this thing actually looked like a square note on my home screen, maybe a touch of shadow so it looks like the bottom edge is flipped up a bit like a real note would be. Ridiculous perhaps, but I literally chose this app over Post-it simply because it had the tack on it to give it more character than a blank widget. Also, why the fun shorthand font as I’m writing a note but the boring Helvetica on my Home Screen? I guess what I’m trying to say is, keep it simplistic with the user friendliness, but maybe upgrade the appearance some. Oh. And if we could choose whether the text was left, center, right on the note, I’d appreciate that. I like my lists to align more often than not, and I’m not opposed to bullet points. Obviously, this is all coming from an individual with a high sensitivity to visual detail, but I would say I represent a huge chunk of your target audience seeing as how the whole point of the app is for it to be front and center on our Home Screens. Great app! Thanks for putting it out there!
Needs more options
I do love this app and use it for my business and personal life every, single day. It could use some updates like font size and color. Most importantly, it would be nice to fit more on one page and have the ability to have more than 5 pages. I keep this as a larger widget on my home screen and every morning I swipe through so I know what needs to be done. I also keep personal affirmations, grocery lists, to do lists, family appointments and quotes that I like. There just aren’t enough pages for it all. Sometimes I have to use my Notes app in addition to this one to keep track of it all. Overall, very useful.
The Little Helper I Needed!
Every night, I like to list the top five things to do for the next day. It helps me be productive. I have looked for a simple to-do list with a widget that would appear on my Home Screen. Every app was too complicated and hard to use. Then I found this little widget. Every night, I create my top five list for the next day. Done. Simple to use and change. Game changer!
Almost good, but...
Stickies are helpful on Macs, and this similar-ish implementation could be too, but it's limited and vulnerable to accidental complete erasures. Users cannot select text size or font, and the fixed size seriously limits what can fit on a note. Add even 1 character too much to a page and the bottom line and subsequent lines will disappear from view. Accidentally swipe a finger part way across a screen and the entire note is wiped clean with no apparent method of recovery. When or if a new version fixes these problems it will finally be safe to use for remembering important items, and be a good to great app.
Good app but needs much improvement
It’s a great idea, a great initiative… but it falls short of fulfilling its promise in so many ways. You can’t customize font size. The 5 pages are not connected!! If you edit a note and write more text in the middle of it, the bottom text just disappears and you lose it forever!! It doesn’t get pushed to the next page. It’s just gone. Please update and improve it and I’ll give 5 stars and send you fresh baked cookies!! Till then, it’s 3 stars and an unhappy review. 😖
Could use a “Done” button
Could use a Done button after entering the text. Otherwise, just have to swipe the app closed. Also, when creating a note, the swiping to new blank notes was unintuitive for me. Also, not sure where the instructions are located that other reviewers mentioned for putting it on the Lock Screen.Love it’s simplicity. Love it’s small size. LOVE it’s privacy policy.
Game Changer!
The simplicity of the design makes it the only sticky note app that has worked for me! For visual learners there is power in writing things down. Having this as a widget directly on the home screen makes it an essential part of my day. I am reminded of what I need to get done each time I go on my phone. It has helped reduce getting distracted by social media because it’s a visual reminder of what to do first. The larger size of the sticky note is perfect! Since we always have our phones, it is super helpful to have access to what you thought about earlier in the day/week.This app is great for adulting | It helps me get the daily things I don’t really want to focus on completed. I also use Reminders for timed pop up notifications such as getting gas when I leave work/finish an exam or annual bills you don’t want to forget are coming up.No ads makes up for some minor tweaks others mention like changing the font/size or adding themes. Whoever designed this nailed the digital sticky note 100%!!!!! Tysm** No distractions makes this the #1 most effective sticky note :)
