Horrible Customer Service

Pastbook sent my book to the wrong address. I had to call twice to resolve the issue, on the second time was told Supervisor would call me within 24 hours. I never received a call. 1 month and 3 phone calls later, they told me that in order to re-ship the book with expedited 4 day shipping I would have to pay $30!! They are shipping it free and I have to wait another 10 business days. Next time I’ll just spend more time creating my own book with Chatbooks instead. At least I’d get theirs in less than a week and their customer service is a lot better.Update - was told by agent to confirm my address and they would send me new tracking information. They never sent the tracking, so now I have to call a 4th time. Placing a comment here on the review to ask me to contact you but then not provide me with a contact email does not help at all. Send me an email with actual contact information and I’d be happy to discuss further.

Fantastic app! Could use a just little more flexibility

Great app, and so easy to drag and drop pictures! Love that it picks my best pictures to create a scrapbook, and then i can add what I need. Such a time saver!A few suggestions for future versions:1. Changing slide order is clunky. Have to go into Rearrange, which then kicks you all the way to the top of your scrapbook and you have to scroll to where you were. Would be nice if you didn’t lose your place or could easily drag and drop slides2. Captions are very restricted. Often span across someone’s face in a picture, so you’re forced to do without a caption (kinda a bummer if you’re trying to capture the details of a memory). Would be nice if you could place them in a different spot and not span the entire length of the picture. Also would be nice if you could have a caption apply for a page and not for a single picture 3. Really small screen on my iPad for editing. Would be nice to maximize while editing rather than only viewing in a 2 inch screen 4. I found PastBook thanks to my Facebook and IG feeds. It would be nice if I could point PastBook to a few posts and have PastBook create a scrapbook from that. PastBook can create a scrapbook for the full year from FB/IG…would be nice if it could create from a subset Great app! Thank you!

I am in love with this product!

I have scrapbooked for years and with my busy schedule and ever changing family I have not had the time I once did to sit down and make a scrapbook for each of my children. Now with PastBook I am almost completely caught up with my memories and photos. I love the ease and convenience of digital scrapbooking. I have even begun a wedding album for my recently married son. The app is user friendly and I am able to work on my projects whenever time permits. Great product.

Pastbook easy to create

I've just made my second photo book. The first book went quick and easy... the second one took longer because I was trying to use my laptop computer. Then I remembered to just use my cellphone and use the photos on my cellphone, and the process of to making the book was quick and easy. The first time I didnt know how to put a title on the cover, but this time I watched for how to do it and it was easy. I can't wait to make another book soon.

PastBook is AMAZING AND AWESOME 🎉🎉🎉

I ordered a book a couple years ago from my Facebook pictures that I had posted for 10 years. It came out wonderful. We have 8 grandkids and in that book were all the grandkids baby pictures. All our kids/grandkids live in different States. It is so awesome to have all these pictures together all in one book. A few weeks ago I ordered a second book. It too is amazing. The girl who helped me was so kind and helpful. She walked me through the whole thing. I’m 62 and technology and I don’t get along😜.

Wedding Album

I am very satisfied with our wedding album. PastBook’s app guided me to pick my album cover and title, and then it prompted me for a cover photo, and to add additional photos, page by page. I was pleased to have a choice to fill a given page with a single photo, or to add multiple photos to the page. The app also permitted me to re-arrange the order of my pages, and to re-orient photos on any page. The app always allowed me to make changes, along the way. I was able to use my iPhone, to create and order my albums. Finally, I chose between two album sizes, (I picked their larger 12” X 8.5 “ size) and ordered multiple copies at reduced prices. I ordered three albums, containing over 25 pages each, for a total cost (including tax and shipping) for $110.

PastBook problem

So my experience hasn’t been that good with PastBook. I made a book and ordered 3 books. Right away I started getting 2 to 3 emails a day every day stating only that my order as received. Absolutely nothing about the fact that not all my photos had been downloaded until several texts from me inquiring why I kept receiving these emails. Finally someone told me that all my photos hadn’t uploaded and what I needed to do about it. Well I did what was advised and here I sit in limbo not having a clue as to whether I will ever get my books. Which by the way have already been charged for and paid forUpdate: I received my books and I love them. So glad I continued with the order even after having a communications problem. All resolved and would definitely recommend this photo book company.

PastBook reorder

I would like to shout out to PastBook for sending me a link from a previous order I placed. It was a special gift for my father. He has since passed away and I did not receive the special book with his grandchildren in it back. Thankfully I was able to click a special link and reorder this precious memory book. As it was the last gift he received from us and I quote “ was the best darn Christmas present ever”. He passed away soon after receiving it. So now having it back brings back sweet memories. Thank you for helping me out!

DO NOT USE

DO NOT use this company. Terrible customer service. I placed an order in November, tried contacting them multiple times late December when my order was not received. They would respond here and there, eventually saying they needed to place the order again. A month goes by and I still don’t have my book. I send mutliple messages again with little to no response, just saying “they are still working on it” so I end up cancelling the charge with the credit card company since 2 months have gone by. They randomly send me a message today (about 3 months since I placed the initial order) saying the order couldn’t go through because I used the character “&” in the mailing address so “they will refund me and I should try to place the order again without that character.” No apology, offer for discount or credit, etc. Terrible experience. Never using PastBook again.

Good Quality

I’m really enjoying this service and the books are very nice. Good quality. I’ve order a lot Of them to keep my photos safe and to be able to be Access them I use them as coffee table books to share with friends or family. The only thing I’ve had any issues with is the app will ask you where you want the photos to come from, when I choose album I put together for a book, It asks by multiple choice of you want to use all the photos in the album, I click YES, but most of the time They never use them all, so something like 14 photos or so will be left out, and I’ll Have to go through to figure out which ones weren’t used so I can try to manually add them in. This is a time consuming chore and can be a little frustrating because you can get duplicate photos and some left out without realizing it. If this was fixed it would be “Perfect!”
