Love, Except

Great for monitoring and notifications are so nice. Only wish is you would either do a direct google drive file add or fix Icloud it always ats file load failed I have tried to copy to I cloud first it works sometimes. So I usually open chrome upload from google drive then reopen octopod and once the files are there its great but would rather not have to leave octopod

I love the functionality of this app

I love the functionality of this app and the fact that they ported it to the Apple TV. However on the widget I it shows my cameras natural state rather then the filter that I have set up with octoprint. I have my camera mounted upside down and the widget shows it upside down rather then flipped. In the app it shows the true settings tho. I was just hoping this could get patched.

Everything you want on your phone!

I’m still a newbie in the 3D printing world. That said, I’ve used OctoPrint from day 1 and I love it. OctoPod is nearly the perfect companion, giving me access to the webcam, status, print start/stop features. If I had 1 suggestion, I’d say a slight design update to the main status panel to make the cancel job more prominent. When I need to cancel a job, I feel the current design doesn’t scream “use me to stop!”

Fantastic App!

Major shoutout to Gaston & the contributors for this app! It does everything I’d like it to do, and does it well.My favorite feature is the “Popular GCode Commands” in the Terminal screen. It makes a PID tune of the hot end very easy. It also doesn’t autosend, so you can edit the command to your use application before sending it to the printer. Clearly an Octoprint frontend designed by 3D printing people for 3D printing people!

Awesome tool if you’re using OctoPrint

I’ve had an OctoPi (Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint & connected to my 3D printer) for well over a year and I only regret not having this app sooner. Being able to monitor and manage my prints easily and natively on a phone (or an Apple TV!) is something I’ve wanted for a long time. I actually found this app because I was looking for a way to get notifications and if that’s the only thing you need, this app has all of that, for anything you could want notifications for. Love it!

Wish I would have tried this first. Best app!

Update 3/26:They’ve already added push notifications based on specified layers and progress. This is absolutely the app to get.I’ve been using Octoclient for 2 years and paid for pro. I just found this app because I’ve been disappointed with what octoclient had to offer. This app is so much better. With push messages, watch app, and gcode it’s really nice. Only one thing is missing to make this perfect and that’s a visual gcode viewer like Octoprint offers on their UI. If that could be added this app would be close to perfect. Perfect would be the ability to send a custom push notification based on what layer the print is on.

Love this app!

Great little add on if you’re using octoprint with your 3d printer. I I’ve how I don’t have to be nearby to check in on my prints. I can easily check on my phone where ever I am in combination with octoeverywhere! I can even check in with my Apple TV’s. I appreciate the progress notifications that include a snapshot of the progress itself on my Apple Watch. When set up correctly this is an amazing tool to monitor your prints

I never leave reviews either...

...and yet here I am. This app is just so awesome! I found out about Octoprint recently and was using it on my phone browser... then I found this app. OMG perfect!And then last night I realized I could access it on my Apple WATCH! I can even see the feed from the camera aimed at my Ender 3 Pro. Y’all, I can check on my printer from my watch!!! When I’m showing my kids how to do their math homework, they don’t even know when I sneak a look at how my print is going, LOL! Technology is amazing.

Great app with potential.

After many many attempts to use the official obico app to monitor my setup I gave in and tried this app. It uses obico as one of many ways to connect and it worked right out of the box. I love the widget as well. Sure this app looks bland in comparison but I’ll take a fully functioning app over looks any day. If they separate the app into modules then the community can write new ui themes and this app would be perfect. Besides looks only other thing I would say is add support for emergency stop. Yes there is a cancel button but having a big e-stop option would be great esp on the widget.

Fantastic tool for monitoring 3D printing!

I’ve only been 3D printing for about 4 weeks, but this app has made monitoring so much easier. I like being able to view the webcam and see my print status while away from the printer. Intuitive to use with a good amount of detail like temperature, print completion status ( % and time ) , layer height, full screen webcam and custom command. The only thing missing for me is the capability to see my time lapse or octolapse videos. Please consider adding in a future update! Thanks for all your work in simplifying my 3D life!
