This is good to have on your phone at the work site to show the boss man you don’t need his “input” on ladder safety. At home, I pretend to need Rick’s help with the interface, and while he’s explaining it to me, I make sideways glances at his wife. Win-win. I don’t know if the app is any good, but I make my own rules...ladder safety included.
Nicely done.
Way too large of an app for a utility. Get it down to a reasonable size like 1MB and then we'll use it
Very simple and useable. Better than anything else out there.
Recently downloaded this app again, the most recent update seems to have rendered the measuring angle aspect of this app inoperable.Please fix this when you get a moment!
A+++++ nice!!!
My uses: Ladder angle and trench / shoring angles-- type a-53 degrees; type b-45 degrees; type c-34 degrees
I use this with my employees when I inspect job sites. Thanks!!!
Neat app. The pictures make it easier to make sure I'm doing it right.
This was a great app. However the app will not open now. The developer forgot to update its version so that it is compatible with the latest iOS
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is dedicated to ensure the safety of extension-ladder users by developing and disseminating an easy-to-use interactive ladder safety application for smart phones. The NIOSH Ladder Safety application features a multimodal indicator, which uses visual and sound signals to assist the user in positioning an extension ladder at an optimal angle. Furthermore, the application provides graphic-oriented interactive reference materials, safety guidelines and checklists for extension ladder selection, inspection, accessorizing, and use.
