Really interesting game

I want to congratulate everyone who made this game possible. I’ve played the original game for many years back in the day and it’s always been in my top 3 games from my childhood. It was one of the ones I had the most fun in. I coincidentally saw the game ad on instagram (funny to think about it), and I immediately thought “it’s back?!” (kind of expected since many old games have been moving to mobile). I saw that the gameplay looked totally different and initially it threw me off because my dumb self was stuck with the original image of the game. After a while, I gave in and tried it out to see what it’s like, because who knows maybe I’ll like it too. I couldn’t be more right, I’ve been playing for almost a year already. The game keeps interesting since there’s always a sense of progression due to it taking reasonably long to evolve and having frequently updates. Also would not consider it pay to win (which is awesome), since paying seems more for speeding up growth and cosmetics. Although there are a few things that could be improved (no game is perfect), the staff does receive feedback with open arms it seems. So far, amazing mobile game, looks and feels really unique, and it’s very enjoyable! Great job!

My pros and cons for the game

So far I’m enjoying the game I like the level base mechanics and the graphics and gameplay my only issue with game is that I want to read the story but unfrozen you can’t read the story fast enough before it moves on I want a function for that to be turned off so u can read story at your own pace instead of worrying about missing parts in the story other then that it’s a decent game and I’m enjoying it so far but as I said before I would really like a function where u can read the story at your own pace instead of worrying about missing parts and I’m sure others feel the same and at some point just give up and skip the storyline because of the fact you can’t read it fast enough to know what’s going on and I’m sure if this function was added it help some people who want to enjoy the storyline and game even more otherwise u lose interest I would also would of liked to see more anime clips for the storyline as seen in the prologue for the game but all and all it’s a decent game but I’m only giving it a 3 stars because of the reading of the storyline function missing

Random Hero’s Only

I was really excited to hear that my favorite character (Ley) was being released on GrandChase mobile and immediately downloaded the game. The character description said I could acquire her by getting an SR ticket which I received by logging in every day for three weeks. I thought I would be able to use my ticket to pick out my character specifically but was given a random SR character. I really loved the original game and played a lot when I was in middle school as the very same character, I had known GrandChase mobile was created but did not want to play it since Ley was not included. It is very disappointing knowing that there is a special promotion on Ley at the moment and I wasted my only SR ticket because I was led to believe I could acquire her as long as I had an SR ticket and the special promotion may be over by the time I acquire a new ticket. I would love to give the game 5 stars since it carries a lot of nostalgia and it is a fun game, it is disappointing that players of the old GrandChase cannot play as the characters they loved and that the development team devalues the players with cheap money making gimmicks that randomizes the characters you get to play when we were once able to play as all of them. Especially since I was so excited and even counted down the days I could acquire my character only to have my ticket wasted and to be empty handed in the end.

Good but not as good as original

I started playing the original grand chase back around 3rd/4th grade when ronan was first released and i was hooked on the game ever since. I played the game until the servers eventually closed and that wasnt the best of times. When i saw that this game was basically a sequel to the original game i thought “doesnt hurt to try it out”. The main thing that hooked me to the original game was all of the special events and armors/characters that you’d spend days collecting items for, the amazing community back when the servers were almost filled and the gm’s that would be around to chat with players and play alongside of the players. This game kinda brings me back to the old days especially with the soundtrack and the characters that i used to love playing(ronan,lass,asin,dio). It would’ve been nice if players that originally played grand chase when it was on pc couldve had a chance to kinda get something to display that they have previously played the original game, but thats beside the point. The game definitely is fun and still addicting(probably becauae of nostalgia) but i have ran into problems. The game does really enjoy crashing whenever i play and i dont know if its an issue with my phone but it kinda ruins the experience.

Pretty good game

I really like the idea that the SR characters are not hard to get at all. You’ll get anyone you want eventually. The hard part is powering up your party which you’ll do eventually but it can take a while. Art and design better than PC version. All the characters look fantastic.At the same time i wish there is better way to earn gold in the game. I often run out of gold without a stable source of income. Leveling equipment and evolving characters as well as crafting is extremely expensive and even tho I’m at a mid-late game stage, I still constantly run out of gold.Another thing is the Time Dungeon 5 stage. The boss demon girl literally one shots everyone on my team. People with way less BP than me just get lucky and somehow manage to beat it. I don’t mind Ronan being an absolute MUST in that stage, but kinda wish it’s toned down a bit so I can beat it consistently without doubling my current BP

It's a nice game with great art but...

When I play a game like this I expect to have a good storyline that keeps me interested to keep playing but I'll be honest it feels very bland. And normally if the story is bland the characters will make up for it but in this case the characters or well at least the ones in the story feel very bland as well. Not to mention that the characters I like the most rarely appear and when they do they act like robots. I feel like even side characters should get more spotlight because in all honesty I don't care much for the main heroes. I wish characters like Rasel and Hanout were treated more like characters than just an enemy to attack all the time. And the heroes they just feel very robotic and annoying. Not to mention they call themselves heroes but if they can't seem to get there way they just start attacking the person which doesn't seem very "heroic" to me. I just feel like characters and story could have been executed better because at this point the only selling point for this game is its art. I apologize that it's so long and hope you'll take my advice and please enjoy the rest of your day (or night).

Absolutely stellar, but this new update-

This game is absolutely amazing, very freeing and is always moving you around and making you do things. Even in combat, it feels like it all flows around your fingers how you would like. Letting you control the placement of your characters and picking exactly what you want them to do (and if you’re feeling lazy they’ve got an auto attack mode, which you can also custom so they are attack how you would like them to. It’s amazing!)However, the latest update with stamina is going to quickly ruin a lot of the free feeling this game had. Not having stamina made you feel less restricted and would let you have fun to mess around in missions or take up quests as you pleased. Now however it completely limits what you’re able to do. The entire motto of this game was that they didn’t use stamina, so I’m sad to see that they’d dropped low to this...I only just joined and was having a blast, though after this recent update. I’m worried as to where this will lead to.

Ive played for about a year and this is what I think

I’ve played this game for about a year now and, amazingly, the gameplay is not something that you easily get bored of! The story is OK, it’s not the best but it’s also not the worst. The visuals are amazing they have a little comic cut scene in between some chapters and every hero that is an SR has an ultimate that’s animated! This game is very different then most gacha games as in it doesn’t force you to spend money to progress, you can do microtransactions in the game but it’s not as large scale and forced as a lot of other gacha games currently are. The main focus of microtransactions are only cosmetic and if any microtransaction were made without the parent's permission you can always get a refund as long as it hasn't been too long since purchase. I enjoy the way this game is made, so much so that I have spent about $30 on this game! The only negative I have about this game is that they took away the section where you can write about what you liked about certain characters in the game. Although that might have been because users were using it for inappropriate conduct, so I can understand why they took it away! I’m gonna end this off by saying this is by far one of the best mobile games I’ve played and it’s been able to keep me entertained for a year and it doesn’t seem like I’m gonna stop losing attention anytime soon!

Yup

This game is REALLY fun, but it’s not really fair that the new players keep on getting events. With the new removal of character banners, it’s harder to get dupes, I don’t know if they’ll still bring banners for like Christmas like they did before (i hope) but it would be nice getting an event for people who have played the game for a while, since you can’t get dupes anymore that easily for your sr’s. I’d like to see an event like how only people who have PASSED “raid 3-7 on normal” (last lvl on raid 3) so maybe we could get some materials that new players really don’t need, and can maybe work for them. I was REALLY hoping that we would get that free sr shiney from crimson river, but they are punishing us for playing the game (unlocking raid 3) and not letting us have a shiney because we wanted to upgrade our characters. New players get 2 free sr selects, an sr from hatred, and a sr from reroll, I never got 2 FREE SR’S! So I feel like people who have played the game might need an event like newer players. I REALLY don’t want this game to get to be a p2w, since this is the best game I’ve played, and I wanted to play it because someone described it as “extremely ftp” so I tried it and loved it. And we need more events like the other servers pls, :(. Thanks

Pleasantly Surprised Veteran Player

Big player of Elsword and Grand Chase on PC. A lot of people’s initial reactions to this before its release was filled with lots of doubt, but I am very happy to say that it was misguided, elitist doubt. This game is very fun to play even for people who are not familiar with the story, and very free to play friendly! (At least, upon initially release. 2 weeks in, still find it very enjoyable.) I would not recommend buying 99% of the microtransactions because the ratios of premium currency to real currency are not great. If they were more generous with prices, they might find more sales for currency, though I believe most money is made on skins which is later on going to be in this game. Also, if you don’t like Gacha, maybe avoid imported games like this, but I would say there’s a lot of ways to chance your gacha, so P2W isn’t very dominant imo.From a gameplay and aesthetic perspective, I would say this is great mobile game, especially if you cannot afford to spend 24/7 attention to it. There is no stamina feature, so you can play as much as you want (or can, anyway) or as little, limited only by dungeon limits and the strength of your characters. There’s lots of ways to earn resources and it’s very satisfying to get them!My biggest tip for newer players: SAVE YOUR B-RANK HEROES! You can get 3k premium currency (equal to 10 rolls in gacha) if you save all the ones you get from the story and level them up all the way.
