Exo Heros Devs, Thank You. “AC”

I had to do another review, because my first rate was pretty bad. I want to start off to say, This game os definitely changing for the better! Some many great changes, and great challenges the Devs is making for us players. I want to thank the developers for doing their best, and taking heed to players ideals or concerns that we might have. First off, I feel a lot better going for Gacha banners now. I feel like it’s a lot fair now, so whatever you Devs did, I appreciate you!Secondly, I love how story content doesn’t stay impossibly hard, once more new content is released. Then doing event is much better now, and is actually enjoying to do. I don’t know how accurate you guys made the FC drop ratings, But it is AMAZING. At first, it was so difficult to make banner pulls. But NOW, you guys give us so much content to get free XES FOR BANNER PULLS, THANK GOODNESS. Not just that, but other things that give us plenty of nice resources, that I need a lot for my units. So thank you for all the things and improvements. Plus, I feel good about spending money on here now. For things like accumulating rewards, which give great gear/equipment that you need. Please continue to make this game great, I have much more to say. But I feel like I said enough, but more of wanted to tell the developers to keep up the great work!!!

Decent game but poor/missed opportunities

I have played this game for a while now and I like the story and graphics of it. I only actually put money into a game that I really enjoy playing; this game was getting better until the recent launch of the Synergy fatecores. I tried my best to get the first fatecore, Jinai, but I didn’t get her; what makes it worse, you moved onto another member of Synergy before I could even get the first one! I have already seen players with both members of Synergy, which means that they forked over a lot of money to get them. This is making me think that this game is not worth my time anymore; even if I want to finish the story, I just don’t feel like attempting it. Another thing that I would like to mention is that the main story arc is too hard for most of us playing; which in turn loses most of your players. With the rating that this game has, it won’t be long until it is forgotten. I think that I will give it another week of playing time before I decide to move on to a different game. It’s sad, I really do like this game but these problems are turning me off.

Had potential but ruined now

Been playing this game for months and enjoyed it up until now. Had a great time, characters are nice, story is interesting and gameplay can be fun. Unfortunately the most recent patch/season has completely destroyed the game. They are even trying to hide the fact that they do not care about their players at all, they just want as much money as possible before they inevitably destroy their game. The PVE content is unbeatable. I have some of the best characters in the game, FCs and all, fated gear, a main team with a power level of ~2.3mil but my units are getting one shot by the newest story chapter. Its understandable to make stuff difficult or have some kind of hidden strategy to figure out but there is none. The strategy is spend thousands of dollars and you might have a slim chance of being able to play the game. The worst part is in order to play some of the challenges or other content you have to progress in the story.Really sad because this game had loads of potential. Could not recommend it to anyone in its current stage.

Xes

First off the game is fantastic and I love it. The problem is the systems in place. The amount of Xes( in game currency) is very low for f2p players. Early on it’s ok bc you get a ton of achievements after about a week it severally drops off. An example: re create events often require 28 11 pulls to guarantee the good character they are offering. Doing daily and weekly quests and the other mechanics would make it take over a month for the average player to acquire enough ( can only obtain around 13,000 a month). That’s 19,600 xes the events only last one week so it is impossible unless you’ve saved up for around 2 months. If this game wants to see longevity and an undying fanbase xes for f2p needs to go up not crazy but maybe around 1.5~2 times for repeatable events( weekly and daily missions). The second thing would be to lower the dollar cost of buying cues with real money. It currently costs 27$ to do 3 x 11 pulls. At this point only people willing to pay ridiculous money will buy anything. Cutting prices in half would promote more people buying while the big spenders wouldn’t buy less because they already willing to spend that much. In short I really want to see this game thrive, it is easily the best gacha out there so please take this to heart. So many people have stopped playing because of how unsatisfying the grind is. Keep improving and I know this game will last.

Editing to consider Revisions

I am changing my rating as the server issues have improved drastically, and I’m loving the new changes to the game. It has seemingly put characters on a more level playing field, so now I can utilize characters I hadn’t had the means to use before. The story is still great, the music is superb, and the graphics are console-beautiful. The devs are still crazy generous with in-game currency. If you’re looking for a great turn-based rpg experience for mobile, you found it. My ONLY complaint now is there’s no male healer! ———————This would be my favorite game on the App Store. Beautiful graphics, engaging story, although sometimes dubious translation. Even the music is brilliant. The devs are very generous and give us lots of in game currency and more. But the server issues for me nearly render the game unplayable. I am forced off and have to reconnect routinely, and oftentimes if I’ve just completed a battle, it doesn’t register as finished, so I have to do it over again when I’m able to log back in. I would otherwise rate five stars. I want to keep playing as a long term player, but the server issues are terribly frustrating.

Disappointment

Been playing this game for about a year or two. I’ve enjoyed it, from its graphics to the various characters and combat animations. I’ve put countless hours for months straight; grinding for every event, day after day completing the daily missions all to save up Exos. However, when a cool banner comes out that I believe is worth using my hard earned exos on, I end up not getting the featured character or fatecore. For example, when Jinai’s pop star fatecore was featured, I pulled about five or six times, using up all my saved up exos just to be disappointed. The same happened for Schmidt’s featured fatecore and a couple of other banners. This makes playing and putting so much time into this game worthless. Also, the auto combat feature is so broken. Specifically in the arena mode. Whenever my team attacks, they never hit the enemy that they can break. However, the opposite is true for the enemy. Whenever, they attack, they always hit the right person on my team and breaks them every single time without fail. I really enjoy this game, but these issues are causing this game to be a disappointment.

Great Potential Squandered by Greed

It seems like with every single patch, the developers are TRYING to get players to quit. I stuck it out as long as I could, but the absurd difficulty wall in Chapter 11, combined with the absolutely moronic “upgrade” systems added (which force you to destroy / consume gear and even heroes that it took literally MONTHS for most players to get, if they get them at all). Even many of the prominent “whales” have spoken out at how horrible those past few updates have been. When even the greatest players in the world are struggling to pass through basic story content, that’s a major problem for the “morale” of the community as a whole. They’ve removed any semblance of FUN or STRATEGY from this game, and devolved it into a beautiful stat-stacking waifu collector. No matter how hard you try, or how much money you spend, they will find a way to make you feel like all of your effort was completely meaningless. It had so much potential but it has been completely destroyed by greedy, moronic developer choices.

Let’s be honest, it’s flawed yet amazing

I avoided this game like a plague when it first came out because of warnings from Korean player, I actually been following this game since I heard the news, still, warnings scared me and I didn’t play the game until 10 days passed and finally, I figured why wouldn’t I give it a chance to prove itself since many of my friends were saying the game is actually not bad and boy, was I wrong and were they right ! This is one of the well polished games out there, beautifully designed both arts and music, really really well done. So what are the flaws ? Well I play for PvP aspect and this game isn’t balanced much, they’re fixing it but the dmg was done, First Guardians AKA Dragon Blood units were too strong and they left a bad taste in many players mouth, don’t get me wrong, PvP still is pretty fun, character animations are amazing and PvP is especially fun on Tag days but man, when a unit required you to work around it extra hard, that’s a bad design right there.Anyway, try it and don’t believe the low rating, this game is by far my favorite and I played many gachas before, it’s up there with the likes of Epic7, Onmyoji or Summoners War.

F2P Mostly & I say give them a chance…

I’ve played a lot of games similar to this like Raid: Shadow Legends, Genshin, Epic Seven and more, and I must say that Exos Heroes has really captured me. I’ve been playing for over two years, almost entirely F2P and I love it. Yes they had a month where their updates were creating a lot of problems and a lot of us couldn’t log in or we got black screens, but the devs went out of their way to address it, did fix it, and gave us like insane amounts of gifts in game to compensate. They have tons of events and celebrations and new banners. I know rng is different for everyone, but I consistently get the Fatecore for every banner within 3 to 10 pulls. Only once I had to pull to pity. The game seems incredibly fair compared to Raid: Shadow Legends, which made me feel abused by the horrible rng percentages and challenge getting good heroes.I’m able to compete well in the Arena as a mostly F2P player, the animations are gorgeous, the heroes are creatively designed, and while the translations are hilariously poor in some cases, and the story isn’t the best… there’s still something I find incredibly charming about it all. I spend 2+ hours religiously every day in the Exos world and I love it. I think the reason their ratings are so low compared to other games is that the devs are so nice and honest that they don’t pay for fake reviews like most of the other games. So if you like collector rpg games, I highly suggest you give them a chance.

It’s a Gacha game.

This game is great in my opinion. The graphics are great, the animations are great, and the character designs are great. The story is an actually interesting story. Overall the game has a lot of positives. The main reason that people are giving the game bad reviews is because it’s a gacha game and they aren’t getting the character they want, oh well. In gacha games you don’t always get what you want and you won’t always get what you want so giving the game a bad review cause of this is stupid. If you don’t like not getting what you want don’t play the game. You will have to deal with getting characters you don’t want but that doesn’t mean the game is bad. There are a lot of gacha games that don’t have a system to guarantee you get the character you want so this doesn’t do anything wrong. Most people who review this game badly are just greedy and throw a fit over not getting a character. This game is great everything about it is good. The fatecore system is one of the coolest things about this game. The gacha system doesn’t do anything wrong but it doesn’t do anything right it’s just a normal gacha system. I recommend this game to anyone who doesn’t care about what they get and to most anime fans.
