Compatibility is a problem

I absolutely support what the developer is doing here, as Stable Diffusion is a revolution in digital art tools and it is amazing that it can work on a mobile device.Unfortunately, I have not been able to get the app to work. Ever. The listing says my phone, an SE 2, is compatible, but the app crashes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through generation on even the smallest resolution image (384x384). I’m sure it’s running out of memory, but even quitting all other apps and setting the number of steps to the minimum doesn’t help. I don’t know what else to do.If there is a way to get lower-memory devices to work, the app should suggest the appropriate settings. And if not, the compatibility section of the app listing should be adjusted to better reflect what is actually possible.Dev, please help!

Its like, actually free free

Guys, how is this app sitting at 4.4 stars? There must have been some issues eaerly on in its release because in its current state, all I see is the uncontested king of all free stable diffusion apps. Its completely local (which freaked me out when it asked to download a 500MB bootstrap on first launch, thought I was about to become a unwilling Soviet spy) and there are zero ads. ZERO. Unlimited use. Tons of tools. Far more than a filthy casual AI art enjoyer could ever fully utilize. If you are in my class of user: just a person wanting to experiment with stable diffusion AI art without boundaries or "tokens", this is it, this is your app. It even has the full suite of mac, iphone, and ipad apps so you dont have to use an upscaled iphone version on your computer like most other SD apps.Overall, this is the best AI art generation program I have used, and Ive played with about 20 so far. Even if I find something "better" out in the wild, there is a 0% chance it will be completely free like this one. This is as good as I will get without forking over money and I feel blessed that this developer put so much love into it.

Amazing app, awesome developer

This is so cool. I've had this on my phone and iPad and my Mac for a while now, but I'm finally going to write a review. Long story short, this app is incredible and it kind of restores my faith in humanity to see a developer work this hard on an app and not put it behind a paywall.Granted, I would donate if that was an option - I'm not trying to say I wouldn't pay for the work the developer's done, but that it's free is just remarkable, especially when considering all the ChatGPT apps that litter the App Store with tons of in-app purchases required. But not this app, not this developer!I'd give it more than five stars if I could. Seriously, this is awesome and anyone who wants to try AI-generated imaging should use this app.

You are extraordinary.

I don’t even want to say you’re like the Auto1111 of iOS for SD, you will surpass Automatic; we believe in you. Thank you for enabling us and our iPhones with fricken dope Dreambooth models that get updated often. Idk how it could be done but if possible it would be incredible to have background generations. The speed of generation isn’t something I am worried about despite it being pretty dang good using Apples Neural chip thing; being able to slowly generate in the background and receive a notification when its ready would be gold.Kudos!

You are extraordinary.

The models folder was fixed for a while but now it disappeared again, actually; the whole Draw Things folder is inaccessible and no longer has the icon thumbnail. It can be searched for in files but accessed.Current: There might be a bug with the models folder. It seems to ghost in and out of existence in the files app. Its weird because it when I need to add models its nowhere to be found but existing models still work, that specific downloads folder is just gone and so is the entire DrawThings folder from my files and the search. But when I am Just browsing on Safari or in another app accessing Files; boom! There it is! Its even the default directory that open when visiting files pretty often! Its like a ghost that shows up randomly. Not a big deal currently since the dev has practically every awesome model link available for download in the app. I don’t even want to say you’re like the Auto1111 of iOS for SD, you will surpass Automatic; we believe in you. Works pretty good! I have a few suggestions

I’m not sure how possible these suggestions are, but thought I’d throw them out there. I’m still learning about what Stable Diffusion can do, and how to use it. First, I’m seeing a lot of different custom models on the Stable Diffusion subreddit that I would love to try out. If I download them, I can’t seem to figure out a way to import them into Draw Things. I’m assuming it’s not possible and I’m stuck with what’s included. Second, my original go-to text to image app is Dall-E. Which recently introduced Outpainting. And became a favorite feature. Fixing faces - can CodeFormer be built in to this app? Are any of these possible to include in future updates?

Makes Stable Diffusion Accessible for the Masses

Fantastic app. Stable diffusion is already amazingly open, but it takes a technical person to get it set up and running. This app takes all that work out and makes it easy to use for the masses. I’ve been recommending it for all my friends and family.

Needs UI Improvements

Specifically, on a 4K screen, the right sidebar showing the history shows images at low res scaled up so they appear pixelated compared to previewing the image you click on in the main middle column. Also, on such large screens it would be PERFECT if the grid based layout just shows up in the right sidebar where the history is instead of popping up in a tiny modal screen. I have a magic mouse and for some reason it doesn't scroll with inertia most of the time in this app. It could be the mouse, just that's part of the frustration of the current UI. Another is the inability to move through the history using the arrow quickly. The inability to right click on a history image and do more than just delete it. Would love to see updates to the UI to address these concerns and make it much much much easier to browse thousands of generated images quickly and more easily. There should be a way to end the current sequence of generations, not just skip 1 out of 100. If there's already a way, it's not obvious or intuitive. Also, can we please have an option to generate more than 100? Sometimes I like to leave it running all night. Also, can we please view and manage generated photos even while the app is generating new photos? That'd be great. I'll probably continue to edit this review as I think of new things, so check back often haha. Thanks so much for considering how you will update the UI soon!

Absolutely incredible - I can create AI art with my phone and no internet connection

LiuLiu has managed to create an app that most would have said was NOT possible just a few months ago. Not only is it smooth, functional, and intuitive - it also works brilliantly!Creating AI art on a PC is taxing for most machines, but this app does it on your phone. I’m shocked, dumbfounded, and have had my mind blown by this achievement. I truly hope this app is wildly successful. It’s creator deserves all the credit they are given.

Awesome

Wow. Not long ago, I was amazed that I could run stable diffusion on an actual computer, so imagine my surprise when I found out I can now do it on my phone! Plus, it can generate images of much higher resolution than the PC can--it just takes more time--otherwise, it works as fast or faster than the PC does! However, the PC has batch generation so I can have it generating many different versions of the prompt while I take a nap or do other things. I wish this app at least sounded a chime when it was finished generating so you didn't have to keep checking it to see if it is done. EDIT: I found out it does have batch capabilities! Tap and hold on the Generate button and you can choose up to 10 images at a time!
