Sunday morning
I’m a child of the early digital world but there is a great satisfaction in sitting at my dining room table on a quiet Sunday morning, with my analog formatted newspaper spread out on my iPad and my smartphone leaning on the napkin holder displaying TIME, also in analog format, with a pretty, little red second hand slowly moving in circular motion. That and a cup of freshly brewed coffee from freshly roasted & ground beans makes peace with my saturated brain, fraught with the residue from my thoughts and dreams of the complex and divided world in which we live!THANKS FOR A NICELY DESIGNED APPLICATION!
Great clock
I use this clock regularly. I like the analog view, especially when I am waiting for something to happen or on a deadline. As the time clicks by it seams more real bc I can see the minutes and seconds pass or approach depending on the situation. There are a few ads but easy to close compared with some other apps where ads linger. IMO nothing better than an analog clock with a second hand.
Best bedside clock so far
App does what it’s supposed to do. Easy to see and read at night, I like the analog look and sweeping second hand. I paid .99 to remove the ads and do recommend this feature. Thinking about buying the upgraded version for 1.99 that has all the features which is how I was prompted to write this review :)
Just buy It!
It does exactly what it says on the tin. I use this while doing accupressure on my dog it gives me a proper timing while calming me down as I was thx the ticking of the second hand. I must say the full screen, loud audio ads are horrendous when they pop up. Just pay the $.99 and they go away. Worth it.
Good app, but it may burn pixels
It seems a nice app but I’m worry about it may burn my phone pixels if I keep it on 7/24. There is an app that will shift a couple of pixels each minute to protect screen. If this is a feature, I’ll purchase it and run my iPod as a digital clock. I rated it 4 for now. When future version has that pixel shift feature I’ll rate it 5. Otherwise, if there is now improvement I’ll rate it 3.
Not a bad alarm clock
The only thing I was disappointed with in this app is that after I paid for it there were no additional skins to choose from. The clock faces they have are very similar to one another and pretty boring. I think they could make something prettie, and i wish they would at least use another font for the digits and offer more colors or patterns.
Needs a few more variations
Everything but a simple and clear clock that is white with hour numbers and minute marks? This kind of clock is probably the most common clock face around, but it’s missing. It’s the easiest one to see and read. A black version in the app has the hour numbers and minute marks but it’s not as easy to read as a white version would be.
Ads came Back
This app is more frustrating than worth it since the ads reappeared after switching to a new phone. I had paid to get the ads taken off a couple of years ago (not exactly sure on the time) but when I got a new phone and downloaded it again from the App Store it seemed to not know that I had already paid to have the ads removed. The ads are so intrusive and are messing my timing up (I was using the app to stay on schedule as analog clocks helps me visually time myself).
I like the app a lot... but not completely!
I love that you can set a wake up time within program, with no need to grab the phone and fuss through the many app I own. Swiping up and and down for brightness rocks. It is accurate, though some faces aren’t as clean on their faces; I have the Premium membership, though the regular membership offers things I can’t see myself using anytime soon.
My go-to when traveling
I wake up a few times a night and it always seems like it’s time to get up. I use the red face because red doesn’t affect night vision and I can dim it to just above totally dark so the light emitted doesn’t keep me awake. It’s easy to open one eye and see the time and go right back to sleep. I really like.
