This app is amazing

I’ve tried other similar launch apps, and usually they’ll only have launchers for some of your apps but not all the ones you want, which kind of defeats the purpose of the launcher. This one is able to launch almost every single app, and if they don’t have the url scheme to launch it directly, they can do it through the Shortcuts app 99% of the time, and it sets the shortcut up for you automatically so you don’t have to know anything about shortcuts. Also, in the rare instance you can’t launch a certain app, you can request it, and their development team is super nice and responds quickly. The buttons are fast and responsive. No bugs. At one point I thought the buttons were slow to respond, but it turned out it was only like that on my old iPhone 6, which was slow on everything, so it wasn’t the app’s fault. On a more updated model of a phone or iPad, it’s super fast.It also can do tons of actions beyond just launching apps. For instance, in another launch app I tried, I had tried to set up a launch button to go to a particular page in Settings (Keyboards), and a message popped up saying Apple didn’t allow that and they could only launch the settings app itself. But Launcher somehow lets you go to whatever page you want in settings, so apparently it is possible for them. Great quality app, and definitely worth the upgrade.

Fast Access to Important Apps

I was hesitant at first to buy because I thought it would just be a way to tap to open an app. But I eventually found my way. And glad I did. This will offer to launch an app at a specific location or specific time. It will hide apps from the today screen based on the time or your location. For example, I was always forgetting to launch my timekeeper app when I arrived at a client's with Launcher, it now happens automatically. Forget to launch your task list for a review? Set it to launch for a noon review every day. In addition, excellent support. I emailed developer about a problem app that crashed on launch. He got back to me within 1 day with a workaround that got the app to launch!

Thank you! To the genius developer who came up with these amazing time savers

Wow! Is all the comes to mind when tried a few years ago. My iPhone broke without a warranty, And could not replace with new one for a year and a half. Decided to reinstall and try out pro version and my Wows! Are tripled at not how much smoother and quick it is, but am amazed at the large number of new and more efficient things you guys have added; especially for the magic launcher for timer. Now if my watch is dead and want to set a timer, I don’t have to double click the home button, find the app The timer is on, then daouble click to go back to my apple nusuc, Facebook, etc., I can just slide down, then left and shows timer; of which is still counting time and showing it counting inside the widget. Amazing! Thank you for saving me lots of time throughout the day, and keeping my accidents on a bike down dramatically cuz of me trying to check msgs or mess with phone more than I should be when riding on-the-go.

Great for customization and designing setups.

As said in the title, I use Launcher to customize my Home Screen and it’s been really helpful. One detail that I enjoy is when you open a shortcut app, rather than seeing the Launcher app and the shortcuts app first, it shows a black screen. This, I think is a better transition to the intended app. It is a simple UX workaround to Apple’s current limitations on third-party app shortcuts (Hopefully Apple will fix it soon). This transition doesn’t always work for all apps, but it’s better than nothing.I’m excited to see more updates. I would really like to see my custom app icons change to the dark mode icons so that it would match the widget background (which has the light/dark mode options).

Saves my sanity!

I love this app. Ever since iOS 14, Apple continually takes my icon folders and scatters the apps over random screens. Putting my apps back to where I want them has become an ongoing hobby. Launcher app allows me to create folders, arrange my apps, and they stay where I put them. Also, hats off to the developers for super fast support- in case Launcher doesn’t already have a shortcut for an app (ie my local bank), you request it in app and the developers add it. The last 3 times I’ve requested one, it was added within a minute. It’s as if someone is waiting for the requests to come in. Not to mention the new widgets that actually launch the apps I’ve added to the widget.

Too Complicated

I found this complicated to use and as a person with extensive computer programming education, that’s ridiculous. It should be more intuitive and not need built in tutorials to operate.I didn’t want to figure out how to make a widget, I want to simply customize some but this app falls short of expectations. If you are comfortable with connecting the app to your contacts you’ll like it more than I do. It allows you to not choose this but that was the first thing it tries to set up. Beyond this, there is a pay nag for anything worth using which is fine but not obvious until clicking on something. I HATE that, the pop up that follows and insists you pay before ever trying the app out. Make it obvious which are paid or not so we know prior to trying to use a feature. Anyhow, this is not for me, clearly and I’m passing on it.

Multiple In App Purchases Makes This Difficult To Rate More Highly

I’ve used this App for several years across multiple iPhones and iPads. As I tried to move widgets across platforms yesterday I was reminded of some shortcomings. I have purchased the app and paid for one upgrade only to be met with a second in app purchase to unlock the functionality I really need. I certainly don’t mind paying for apps (I’ve been doing this since day one of the first iPhone release), but an app like this shouldn’t have a multi tiered purchase in my opinon. This is all the more true as there are now totally free options which provide most of the functionality found here. Also, there are any number of new apps not formally supported by Launcher. This also makes this app less useful to me. If I could, I would give this two and a half stars at this point, but that isn’t an option. It certainly does provide some much needed convenience which Apple could incorporate into a native iOS release but never has bother to do so. Shortcuts isn’t remotely a competitor here. If you decide to buy, be aware of what you do, and don’t get with each tiered purchase. I suspect many will need to plunk down multiple purchases to get the real use out of Launcher.....

Great app for minimization

I bought this app awhile back. I had used Launch Center Pro but I have to admit that was way too confusing for me. I wanted something very simple that I could use to start an app or start a group text message. I recently bought an iPad Pro (using ios11) to replace my laptop for 90% of my needs. However, I also made the conscious decision to minimize my Homescreen as I hate clutter. I’d rather do a search for apps than fish through multiple home screens. I just set up multiple Launcher actions that help significantly with my issues. I have multiple widgets so I can quickly send both single and group text messages. No more going to the Message app and doing a search or scrolling down.I also have actions to access common items like TuneIn radio and Pocket which I would never want to put in my dock even though I use them frequently. I want my dock to be filled with mission critical apps. I love having multiple widgets which helps me organize all my actions. With this app, I’m actually able to have a 1 (just 1) Homescreen with no apps on it. All apps are either in my dock and anything else can be searched for or it’s one swipe to get to the widgets. Lastly, I also have to be honest here. I mainly wrote this review because one of the first reviews I just read panned the app based on not even trying it.

Must have app

This app makes the iPhone way more usable. I originally got it on my iPad and thought it was very good. But now that I have an iPhone I don't know how you can not have this app! It allows me to leave all apps in alphabetical order in the built in launcher. And then organize them how I want in this app. Why would I do that? I like my apps grouped by function. This often means I need an app in multiple groups. Something you can't do in the built in launcher. I'm also coming from windows phone. Where all apps where in an alphabetical list as well as in groups I created. In short for a windows phone user this app makes the iPhone a lot more tolerable. The app owner also responds very quickly.

My absolute favorite app

I try a lot of apps. I'll get really excited about an app I saw on the App Store or heard about from a friend or podcast and try it. And I usually use it for a few days or even a few weeks before I lose interest because it only does a couple useful things or I realize it doesn't really do what I need. But Launcher has been my absolute favorite app from the moment I downloaded it a couple years ago. And it continues to add features that make it so much easier to do the most important things I need to do on my phone. With one swipe, I have everything I need just a click away. I can call my husband, get directions home, text my favorite people, go right to a specific web page, turn on/off my lights, Shazam a song I hear on the radio or in a store, or check Facebook instantaneously. I can set up separate launchers for work vs home. I can even set them up based on time of day so I can quickly do the things I need to do when I wake up, go to bed, and all day in between. There have been a couple times when I had trouble adding a launcher, so I contacted the developer, and he was super responsive in adding access to the app I was looking for, and every time there's an update, I find even cooler ways I can shortcut my workflows. It is so rare to find an app that exceeds my expectations. But Launcher does that every day. And it saves me a TON of time, which is invaluable.
