Classic Sega and so addictive!

I never played the Dreamcast original, but if it’s as good as this I will soon! I don’t typically play many mobile games for any length of time, but I HIGHLY encourage you to try this one out!

Multiplayer Cpu

Ok so the game is great I kinda recently started it but I was playing with my friends on multiplayer and were were playing with CPUs and they were overpowered they put arrows faster than us and we could barely react it was annoying and when ever we put a arrow toward our rocket they just blocked it but then once we blocked the cpu they did it again.

Best game on arcade so far!

This brings back so many memories of my childhood. Spending hours upon hours on my Dreamcast playing this game. This was one of the first videos games I played that had online multiplayer back in 1999! So glad to see the series continue! You have to play it!

I know the game is great but

This game is a classic but unfortunately I didn’t play it on Dreamcast only heard about it and as someone new to the game and there are no tutorial to guide new comers it’s pretty hard to know what to do or what is the goal of the game.Also, like other SEGA games in  arcade why only online mode why don’t they add offline mode with a bit of story or challenges instead of all online mode.Really wanted to like the game but sadly a lot of issues specially for new comers.

Glitch makes it IMPOSSIBLE to play

a friend reccomended to me Chu Chu Rocket Universe and I was having fun with it at first, but “Mousehole Mountain” has a glitched set of arrows that NEED to be patched.I thought the issue was that I just couldn’t solve it, so I tried to check out a tutorial on how to solve it. Turns out... IM MISSING ARROWS? or rather, the amount of arrows im given render the level impossible to complete.Any and all resources i can find state that you need two left and a right, and boom! Solved! However, when I try to play, I get two UP arrows, one down, one left, and one right. Meaning, there is a glitched set of arrows— and im not the only one experiencing this issue eitherThis means I CANNOT progress in the game anymore. Seeing as this level is right after the tutorial constellation, this is really disappointing :(If you’re looking to get this game, dont bother downloading until there’s a patch

Great except for timed levels.

This would be an easy five star if not for the timed levels. If you have even moderately large fingers, you will find the timed levels enraging or borderline impossible. The game does not allow you to zoom in enough and you WILL hit the wrong squares repeatedly. Maybe it’s not an issue on IPad, but on an 8 Plus it was maddening. Developers need to add the ability to zoom in more or remove the timed levels altogether on iPhone.

Lost all my progress!

Played through the first few constellations and when I came back to play more, it was having me restart from the beginning! Very disappointed and confused why this would happen. Was a big fan of ChuChu rocket back in the day, so was excited to play this version. Aside from the loss of data issue, I must note the voice acting is absolutely terrible, and the ramp up in difficulty is too slow. Other than that, the classic ChuChu formula makes a great puzzle game! 5 star potential

Just like I remember

I had this on Dreamcast and it was one of the first true multiplayer experiences which was enjoyable, frenetic, and challenging. I’m shocked and happy to see that they remade it true to form and just as good as I remember. Thanks SEGA and look Apple for the flashback. Except the cats were ‘Neko’ iirc

Fun game, obnoxious voice acting

It would be nice if there was a way to mute the obnoxious “CHUCHU ROCKET UNIVERSE!!” at launch (I’m not 3 years old), have the game remember where I actually left off instead of having to fly there from the beginning every single time I launch the game, and provide hints to difficult levels.

Great Old School Puzzler!

I loved Chu Chu Rocket on the SEGA Dreamcast, and this game brings the same awesome puzzling gameplay that I fondly remember. Some of the puzzles can be quite perplexing, but can help expand your way of thinking outside of the box to solve puzzles and achieve 3 stars.
