Still great game but still need some fixes

First of all thanks for childhood reminiscences! So I purchased no-Ads mode, and game now saving in iCloud without any Ads and also all Ads disappearing here all is fine.BUT problems start when I go to offline mode:1) Game give me 2 warnings that I must be online to enter GameCenter (I don’t understand why I need see it??)2) Original local in-game save (feather’s icon inside inner game menu) show that game successfully saved if you pressed it, but when I completely restart game-app and go to selecting 4 local in-game saves slots - they are all still initialized, without any sign of my inner-save!So for now game is playable in online mode if you are using iCloud OR semi-playable in offline mode till you won’t restart game-app (in other case progress will be simply lost!!!)Please fix it!I can’t be always online and need working local save as it was promised in iAP-purchase description!

Great game, crappy controls, does not keep save progress

I’ve been trying to play this game for a few days now, and I have always ran into the same issue. Once I am done wrapping up my session I click save. I wash the ad, it closes out and it seems like it saves. However, that is basically just a sham.I go to load the game again and not only does it not save, I still have to watch an ad to end up at the second SEGA screen. For them to offer a ad version and it does not do basic functions as far as saving does not make me feel confident in purchasing the ad free version

Good game ported poorly

The original game was good, especially for the Sega genesis that’s pretty much only known for sonic. However, trying to port a game like this where you need to quickly react to an attack doesn’t work on a mobile device, particularly on my iPhone SE. My problem could just be I’m playing on a small screen, but I’m giving it 3 stars for now

Beyond Belief

Beyond Oasis was a stellar game in 1994. Beyond Oasis is a stellar game in 2017. SEGA really has done a bang up job in bringing this to the mobile marketplace. The touch controls, with the exception of attacking while crouching, work very well. I’ve already freed the Ifrit and haven’t once been held back by the controls. The graphics are some of the best the 16-bit era had to offer. The combat has weight to it and feels satisfying. The enemies are varied and start off as fodder, but gradually start to become legitimate threats. And, the boss battles and designs are pretty epic. The only downside would be the game is rather short and the weapons you find are usually limited use. Regardless, this is definitely worth downloading.

Please fix the save game method

So I got the game recently and I played through it a while. Great controls and everything. Just one problem. When I went to save my game, it said I need to be signed into Game Center. I am signed in. It says it’s loading and ends up taking me back to the menu screen. This needs to either be fixed or there needs to be another free way to save our game that actually works, because saving is a very vital feature in long games like this. Why do we need to be signed into Game Center just to save our game anyway?

ads too frequent and online game ctr only

i like the fact they ported this. i just would rather it not obligate an ad EVERY TIME i save, or EVERY TIME i pause, or what it thinks is pause which is only me accidentally bringing up the ipod menu because the buttons are small and too close to the bottom. would rather not have to be online to play it either

Awesome port

Another awesome port of a Sega classic. To the people who are saying these ports are trash: I think it’s cool as hell Sega is bringing all these old games back. Now if they could do the rest of the phantasy stars, the X-men, the streets of rage, any Dreamcast game, perhaps if possible some Saturn titles. Keep up the good work, Sega, I’ll keep buying them

Needs visual tweaking, then it'll be 5 stars.

It's a great game, I had it on my Genesis and I have it on my PS3 via Sega Classics, and now I have it here. It would be 5 stars but the display of the buttons gets in the way of the screen. We should be able to adjust the transparency of the buttons and choose between stretching the image out to fill wide screen or its natural for its time CRT TV 4:3 ratio. With a few tweaks it will absolutely be 5 stars.

I love this game... but...

Game Center. I don't have it. I can't find it on the App Store. I heard Apple removed it in iOS 10. Problem is, Beyond Oasis is a long game. And the only way to save in that is through Game Center. Which I don't have and I can't get. SEGA, please, make the saves accessible without Game Center. It would make this a billion times better

Can’t Save Game...

Put in 3hrs of gameplay for nothing. I can’t even save the game. Click on save, prompts me to sign into Game Center, I sign in, says “Signing into server”, prompted to save game, prompted to sign into Game Center again, says “signing into server”, rinse repeat over an over. Never saves. Game is broken. 1 star and uninstalled until this is fixed.iOS 11.0.2 iPhone 7 PlusEdit: after reading other reviews I’m not the only one with this game breaking issue. Stay away from this game until this serious problem is fixed.
