Adding Losing Lives Ruined It
This was a nice relaxing game that I was enjoying playing when I had some down time, but the latest update has ruined it for me. Suddenly I’m out of lives and the only way I’m seeing to replenish lives is to pay. I would consider watching ads, but the game isn’t giving me that option. I’m out, removing the game from my phone.Side comment: Even when I was enjoying the game I played it sparingly because it runs down my phone battery super fast. You might want to work on fixing that.
Too frustrating
This was a lot of fun the first week, and I played so much I got first place and some nice bonuses. But by the second week the negatives of the game overcame the novelty and I have pretty much quit playing.1. You can only get free coins by completing a level. And even then you don’t get very many coins. No free coins for watching ads. 2. You need coins to buy helps.3. A level is three games and you have to win three in a row to complete the level. If you fail on any of the three games you have to start the level again at the first game. This is what becomes tedious. 4. Helps are so hard to come by and so expensive in terms of coins that you quickly exhaust your supply. And you can’t get more free coins to get more free helps until you complete the level. That is the Catch-22 of the game. Frustration or spend real money to buy coins to buy helps.
One problem
I absolutely loved this game except for one thing. First, the bad news. My one problem with this game is that once you run out of lives, it locks you out for 20 minutes!! Just why? Other than that, this game was so much fun! I thought it would be one of those gimmicky match three games, but it turns out it was nothing like those. The little guys are adorable, it’s so satisfying to match them, and It’s easy enough that you don’t get stuck on a level for too long!
DO NOT LET KIDS PLAY
Previously I was getting through levels in this game like no ones business. Now the company wants to make more money presumably, because not only are there ads after every play, there are also lives now. Lives recharge every 25 minutes, or cost 75 in game coins to get five. You make 5 coins per level, so expect to play 15 levels to get enough coins to get you through a rough patch or shell out real cash for it. Definitely DO NOT let kids play this game, it will just end in them wanting to spend money, since they will not be able to make it through levels.
Loved it how it was before
Mindlessly used to play it constantly, so much I’m on level 6,000+. With the new update of lives I haven’t been happy when I play because the levels are too hard and I’ve lost all my 5,000 coins I saved up just to get further. The makeup of the new levels seem so fun and entertaining but you only get 5 tries before you have to wait so long to play again. Coming from someone who played had 4 hours plus of screen time for it in a day I’m very disappointed. I also do not like the new building the statues update I don’t see what it has to do with the game?
Could be great
I play on my phone and tablet. I had passed level 200 on both and playing a lot. 5 times in 3 days I would be playing hard levels on the final section with less than about 25 blocks left, easy finish, and the game just QUITS, takes me out of the app completely. When I go back in, I have to restart the level from the beginning, it took away 1 life, and the balloon race took me back to zero. Each time it happened was between 1 and 4 minutes after the hour, morning, afternoon or evening. Happened on phone and tablet. WHEN the game functions properly I really like it EXCEPT for being forced to guess constantly on really hard levels. There is no explanation for how to open the ability to collect keys. As many others have complained, it is too hard to accumulate coins for helping through hard levels and the developers are extremely greedy in pricing additional coins. I have paid for some in the past but I will not support them any more for a bug-filled game.

Not so good
I like the game fine, or at least I did at first. As I advanced through the levels and the leagues, it’s definitely difficult if not impossible to continue advancing without paying for coins and/or power ups or whatever you want to call them. All of the hard levels are unwinable until you’ve made dozens of attempts. Additionally I experienced glitches with the “leagues” in that it would indicate that there was four days left but it would abruptly end. Furthermore I would be in first place but it would tell me that I placed last, obviously this prevented me from getting the coins or power ups or whatever went along with being in first place. But then when I would start again I would be advanced to the next league. My feeling here is that the devs have just made a crappy product to sting you along in hopes that you will pay up.I do not wish to join the “block race” why are you forcing it every time I open the app, JUST GARBAGE.
Block Jam 3 D
I’m really enjoying this game. The graphics are great. I really liked the part where you could “build “ things to complete an island It felt like a reward, especially after completing more challenging rounds. But I’ve finished all the islands so watching an ad to double my winnings now seems to be a moot point..the game does say more islands are comingsoonI fear if it’s taking them this long to make them, I will have finished them way before they have time to make more. I wish they had made more before releasing the game instead of rushing it.
Why lock someone out?
I like this fun little game, but I don’t understand why you lock people out of the game. If I lose lives, then I can’t play for 20 minutes. So now, that 20 minutes means you don’t have me playing your game and you don’t have me watching all your ads which brings in money for you so you are losing money! Why do that? Plus now that I can’t play for 20 minutes do you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to find something else to do and forget about this game.. your loss again. Makes no sense. I think you need to find a different way to “punish” your players!
