Amazing except for one issue…
I love this game, it’s is so fun to play over a long period of time. The gameplay for me is mostly smooth with little ads (I don’t know why I don’t get a lot of ads but I don’t) and it is a good concept for a game. This is all great when I can actually open the game. 99% of the time when I try to open the game it freezes on the first screen that says “Pirate Brig” and all that stuff. I probably tried like 50 times to open the game the last time I played. Please fix this because it would make the game 1000x better and I would make it a 5-star rating.
It’s just bad
I’m not usually the type to right reviews, let alone bad ones, but for this game I needed to make an exception. If you’re like me and usually read through reviews before downloading something, then you will notice a common theme with most bad reviews; the ads. This is true, every single level gives you and ad and is also like a minefield for clicking anything, it also makes it incredibly laggy which doesn’t help one bit. The game is already extremely laggy and almost crashed, and all in all the only thing you are doing is simple math, it is also very easy to calculate the winning strategy. If you want to recommend this as a school game to 1st graders, so be it, but otherwise it is just bad. I have noticed a common theme in voodoo games, which is that they are laggy, pulped with ads, and all have to do with simple math. Hopefully this review helped.
Absolute zero stars
This game is absolutely trash, they force you to watch an add after every level and when the levels are only a few seconds long you end up having MORE AD TIME THEN ACTUAL GAME TIME! It’s ludicrous, unacceptable, you should NEVER get a game that is more add then game. The game play is great, actually decent but the greedy people at voodoo, obviously, do not care about you they only care for the ad money. Which I get, you need to get money but if you make a minimal effort game (and I mean minimal, like absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of effort) and shove more ads than gameplay then your pushing it to far. Why not just make a game where you watch ads for $1 of in game cash and you use that money to flex to your friends. Oh also THEY BLOCKED THE GAME FROM RUNNING OFFLINE! That is what made me more than happy to write something that absolutely no one will see, a review on the App Store. Well i guess if your reading me then I wasn’t deleted and that surprises me a lot. Anyway to sum this all up voodoo you are a bunch of greedy pigs who made a low effort game that forced you to spend more time watching ads then actually playing the game. And I also think the only online play thing was a real D move and I will eternally hate you and all that you will ever do till the day I die. Thanks c:
Awesome concept, but…
Yeah, there are MUCH better ways to pull it off. For one thing, I get that you need ads to sustain your company and stuff, but once every few seconds is just ridiculous (and the fact that half of them are practically lag machines does NOT help). If you REALLY want the ad cash and not turn away your potential best customers, you COULD do something like this: First, lower the forced ad frequency (and maybe be a little more discerning with WHAT ads are shown); second, both upgrades are always given the option to be upgraded via ads free of charge; third, do controlled sponsorship events. What do I mean by that? Simple, really. During these events, forced ads are completely gone, but the arena is adorned with decor based on the sponsorship. Given the “inventive” nature of this game, Northrop Grumman, Design Squad, or, at the very least, the STEM unit of your local school would be a great start! One other thing: Airplane mode. If you’ve read the more angry reviews, you probably know what I’m talking about.Oh! I just remembered! High bullet quantities tend to lag you out for a little bit. For some reason it’s not as bad earlier in the game than later, but I dunno. Wouldn’t hurt to look into it.
just wasting your time playing this game
Never in my life have a written a review about a game and I never thought I would but this game is something else i’m not even sure if it’s the game at this point or just voodoo making there games into more ad compilation for their own games. I just wanted to play this game for five mins and I was already fighting thought the ads and eventually I decided to do the smart thing which is go on airplane mode. But to my absolute surprise they actually won’t let you go on airplane mode bc the ads won’t load and you have to pay for no ads. Voodoo or whatever they’re called is the worst mobile game company ever they make mindless new games every week then just put a thousand ads in. I gotta go find the CEO or somin bc I WANT ALL THE SMOKE. DELETE UR COMPANY. GO GET A LIFE.
Ads make it unplayable
I basically NEVER review games but I’m sick of VooDoo’s new way of things. they used to make great games and now they just come up with anything where they don’t need to come up with anything graphically and the only programming is something incredibly simple. this entire game is putting blocks in squares and holding on your screen. and yet you get an ad literally every time you do anything even though the first good couple levels last 2 seconds. I understand it’s free and you need revenue but this isn’t even a game. it’s another ad revenue farm with 0 thought behind it. Please stop giving into this so they’ll stop doing it to us because it’s kinda disgusting. they’re using you. they know they barely have to make a game to make money off of you.
This game has to many adds
First off let me start with the fact that clearly none of developers have played this game. Because if they did, they would see that there is a huge issue with the amount of add placed in this game. It’s like they thought the target age group would be 20-30 years old because of all the money and investment advertising (when I’m reality the only people playing it are 13 year olds who have found it off a snap chat add 😂). Let sum up the amount of advertising placed- after every 20-25 second round there is a 1 minute add, and you may be thinking ‘well can’t you just turn off your internet’ NO because then you can’t play the game as a whole. In conclusion this game and it’s adds get really old really quick.
Fed up.
Ok this really is a good game if you won’t to kill some time. It’s very easy and simple. But my only complaint is I’m really sick and tired of finely making to the end of a round (the boss) and then out of no where the game starts Lagging and then freezes up and then I have to start the round ALL OVER again😤🤬. I’m to the point now that if the problem isn’t fixed really soon then as much as I hate too because I really do like this game, but I will have no choice but to just delete it and move on to another game.
Love the game but…
Okay, so let me start out by saying I don’t write reviews to often. Seldom do I spend the time to do this but I actually really this this game has potential. I personally really enjoy the mechanic of adding or multiplying the bullet speed in order to get the fastest gun and then the subtraction involved in slaying the mass crowds is pretty fun. However, this game needs to fix the constant shut down that occurs. Almost every round it seems the game can’t handle the capacity at which it’s preforming and automatically quits and exits. Then on top of the that after you watch so many adds to get more gems to get an upgraded gun it brings you back to the original. That is very annoying. There should also be a difference between the upgrade gun screen and the unlock skin screen. Guys, you have. A great game. Put some thought into this one because it is super addictive!!! Much love on this one and very surprised!
Great app! Would recommend. One problem though…
This is a great app to play in your free time, but to there are some suggestions I would like for you. 1, the leaderboard is bugged. So basically, I downloaded this app like 2-3 days ago, and I was in the top ten on the leaderboard. Then, I reached Top 1! This took very short, and once I hit top 1 I realized why. For some reason, the leaderboard goes into the negatives??? 2, too many ads. I feel like this is a problem with 99.9% of mobile games, but just try to get rid of some of the ads and not give them so often. 3, when you get to harder levels, give better factors. The reason is because I’m on pretty hard levels, and sometimes I get things like 2 + 2 x 2 + 1. This is frustrating because then I have to redo, and once you redo twice in a row there’s an ad. That’s it really! Thanks for taking time out of your day to read my review, but overall this is a great game. -Shot Factor player 😁
