I’m on iOS 11.2 on iPhone X and the app doesn’t launch. Was working flawlessly on my previous phone. Please update and fix!
The app itself is okay, my issue with the app is there’s no way for a user to migrate the Authenticator app to a new device. The Google Authenticator app can export your data to a new device via QR Codes, making migration a breeze.
Mandatory download but it doesn’t work—won’t scan any QR code’s and the website is no help, nor is the link once you register
Just used it on my IPhone XR and it worked just fine. I was concerned bc of all the down votes, but it worked flawlessly for me, so here’s an upvote. All the best
When I get a confirmation notification the confirm page doesn’t show immediately. I have to click on the respective app the back out to the list again, then the page comes up
I got a new phone and now the push button authorization no longer works. App just turns off.
Very good user experience. Push notifications are really nice!
I had to use this for about a year and it generally worked OK, until I got a new phone. Then the app did not transfer well and it was unusable. I never saw why this was an improvement over regular two factor authentication using SMS text messages it seems I have just one more app on my phone that doesn’t give me much benefit.
Intuitive and simple, nice app
Crashes immediately upon launch. I have an iPhone Xs on the latest iOS, and my application is up to date. This would be frustrating if I didn’t need the app to access work-critical accounts, but instead it’s debilitating. If you have the option to use a well established MFA system (i.e. Authy, Google Auth, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.), DO SO. Will do my best to avoid this app in the future, as unstable MFA is unacceptable.
Auth0 Guardian is a mobile app that can deliver push notifications to a user’s pre-registered device (typically a mobile phone or tablet) from which a user can immediately allow or deny account access via the press of a button. It can also generate one-time passwords if that is preferred. Note for developers: Auth0 Guardian is one of the multi factor authentication options that can be used within the Auth0 identity platform (https://auth0.com).
