Still needs a few improvements but excellent app

No app is perfect, and this one is no exception, but love how easy and simple it is to use, and hey, if you only have 1 or 2 3D printers is free, can’t beat that “price”.Even though I’m having some issues with the app I still gave it 5 stars as the issues I’ve had I think are easy to fix.

Great concept but doesn’t work at all

The camera never stays connected and I have to keep refreshing it. On my phone and iPad, it keeps saying I have to be on the same network as the printer which I am. This defeats the purpose of the app seeing that it doesn’t work.

Still some bugs

I love being able to monitor away from home. But that’s really the only thing the app can do well, with a caveat. Live video worked for the first day and then suddenly it no longer works at home or away. Another major annoyance is the authorization button for the thingiverse app pulls up a window that disappears. Should just open it in my browser if the app can’t handle it. I also don’t like the lack of lockout features like Octopod offers. I may just go through the hassle of a VPN and return to Octopod instead of this app... Too bad.

Works great for my needs.

Only monitor a single printer. But I believe it would be worth it for the subscription if you are running several machines and need to see/control running prints from anywhere. Running Octoprint on the Pi 3B+ with the Astro Print module. Recommend setting a fixed IP on the Pi for best connection reliability.

Great when it wants to work

At this point, I wouldn’t consider a subscription because I need to reauthorize it through Octoprint every day. Not great when you aren’t at home. I’ll wait to see if they eventually fix this problem, but as of yet, the app isn’t much help.

Love it, issue with expanding preview

I use this aaaallll the time and it is perfect for monitoring prints when I’m away. But I’ve noticed lately that when I try to expand the preview window, so I can get a better look, that the screen is blank. Not a huge deal since I can export the picture and just look at it in my photos, but it would be nice. Otherwise, it’s perfect!

Trouble logging in

I’ve reset my password, tried to make a new account, and It still won’t let me use the online website, and I can’t find any way to download the gcode from the app to my iPhone files

The best way to monitor my 3D printer

This is the best app to keep track of your 3D printer, there are a few glitches where I’m not able to control the printer while on my WiFi, and I would love the have printer bed feature that the website has, and if I could link my thingiverse profile to AstroPrint it would be awesome

Great App

I’ve been using astroprint for 4 years now and love it to death. I’ve been waiting for this app for a long time and very pleased with the added experience.... however they need to update the software for iPhone X so that the top of the screen is not cut off.
