Cannot Retrieve My Account

I really like this app since it allows me to stay up to date with my favorite Chinese celebrities. But I just got a new phone and I tried to log back into my account with my original password but it would not allow me to log back in. It kept telling me it’s the incorrect login. So, I tried to retrieve my password but I keep seeing a red error message in Chinese. I have no idea what it’s telling me and it doesn’t seem to allow me to proceed. Now, there’s no way I can create another account since my phone number is already in use and I cannot log in. I would appreciate if you could make it more friendly for international users since this is the international version and make it easier to retrieve account info. I’m sadly going to delete this app since I can no longer access :(

I will give 0 star if I can

This app is trash. It shows my current location to public without my consent. If you comment on someone’s posts, it will show everyone your location. You can’t turn this “feature” off, and they didn’t bother to notify you that they “updated” this feature. It doesn’t matter if you allow this app to know your location or not. Even you are not giving the permission of accessing your location in the Apple settings, this app will STILL show it to the public. I can’t believe Apple is allowing this happening.

Won’t let me make an account/ sign in

I made this account a few year back and decided to use it again to keep up with into1. It was fine the first few days but when I tried to follow a new person it said my account was suspicious and I needed to verify. I went to setting and tried to verify my number but it wouldn’t let me. So being the person I am I deleted it and re- downloaded it hopping it would work. It did not. I couldn’t sign back in. My password is automatically saved but when I tried to sign in it said this account didn’t exist. I tried making a new account with my number but they called my number suspicious. I tried logging in via WeChat. That didn’t work. I was on loading for a good half hour and gave up. Signing up via QQ is even more tragic. Getting a QQ account is even more so. So I hope the developers can fix this. Or let me sign up another way.

I need help with this app

I was enjoying this app and staying up to date with my favorite Chinese celebrity, but then unfortunately my account was bugged and I can’t even use it … I can’t post anything, Like anything, I can’t even comment … I can’t even fix this issue , Everytime I post something it goes into my draft , with an error message… data parameters is nil… I used to have so much fun using this app… but after this occurred, I haven’t used it like I want to …. Unless someone debugs my account and makes my account useable again…. I miss using this app….

Low Quality App

I downloaded this app a few moments ago and it has problems.Most social networking apps provide new users with the options of signing up either via other social networking apps (such as Facebook or Twitter) or your email. Then, you are given the option of creating a password for your new account. The company sends you an email to verify your identity and validate your new account with them and when you do that, you’re in. It’s a simple process that takes only a few minutes to complete. Unfortunately, the Weibo app DOES NOT provide any of that at all. So, what are we users supposed to do if they are not given the options of creating a new account so that they can log into this app? Considering all of the negative reviews, I’m beginning to think the Weibo producers don’t actually care about international users and aren’t doing much of anything to fix their bug problems.

Someone took away my likes to certain posts

I found it is outrageously annoying and being violated as an user to this App. My likes to certain blog will constantly disappear within a few hours or one day!!!!!! I have to re-click “ like “on the posts that I like to show my silent support. I have never used this app before until a recent event, found this App is not honest and lack of integrate when managing data from users. This issue has been going on ever since I started using the App in May: same issue happens on laptop too!! Feeling sorry for those ppl who don’t have anything else to use!!

Interesting

I decided to try something different-to learn about my favorite actors in Asia since I watch a lot of Korean, Chinese tv shows and movies. The only downfall for me is living in the U.S. and unable to read or write the language (but I’m learning quick). There seems to be more info I need to add (very personal information) like asking for your blood type? Over all, app is okay but I don’t think it’s secure. So I will leave things as they are. Oh, if you are easily frustrated I don’t recommend. Most of the comments on here are very accurate and problematic.

Retrieving Information

I love Weibo, it’s a good app and I get to stay updated with my Kpop stuff. But I recently got a new phone and tried to log into my account but I forgot my password/username, it’ll be nice if you can make it a bit easier to retrieve it rather than the way you have it set currently. Also this is the “international” version of the app I don’t understand why there’s still Chinese in it so that makes it harder for me to try and retrieve it. But all I’m asking for is for you to make it easier to retrieve information because the way you have it now is difficult, please fix it as soon as possible I love this app and I want to continue to use it. Please and Thank you!

This new updates is helpless in every way

Since last week I started to see ads on my feeds, which never happened before on Weibo intl. Too much ads has always been the reason why I switched to Weibo international from standard Weibo in the first place. So the ads appears. And at the same time the “see translation” option failed to translate my feeds EVERY SINGLE TIME!!? Like dude if u can’t translate the content why bother calling it INTERNATIONAL? I updated earlier today seeing the description of the new updates is “fixed bugs”, but the ads were still there, so was the translation dysfunction. I don’t know what the hell happened to this app that used to be good but I won’t recommend it to anyone right now.

Not working

I used to use this app all the time to see my favorite Chinese celebrities, but now it’s not working. I deleted the app for a while and recently tried getting back on. It keeps saying that I don’t have an account registered with the email I’ve been using for Weibo. I don’t understand why because that’s the same email I’ve been using to login. Then I tried registering using my phone number, but that isn’t working either it’s giving me an error message in Chinese. Please fix this problem because, I would like to start using the app again this was one of my favorite apps to use to keep up with celebrities.
