False sense of security

I thought I was protecting myself, but this allowed my devices to be hacked. I don’t know if the app got hacked and then redirected my traffic to fake sites, which looked like the real ones. Every time I reconnected, I was connected to a different VPN provider. I started looking them up, and they were ALL listed as high risk. This is not the same as the Bitdefender VPN. I even increased my subscription. Now I have to find new antivirus software. VPN software. I don’t trust the Bitdefender name any longer. I have also thrown away my new NETGEAR Nighthawk router.Don’t waste your money on this or any Ndtgear or Bitdefender product. I don’t like having every system that I own compromised and hacked. I don’t like others viewing my cameras. I have purchased the Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro. It does protect my network. But it does not provide antivirus support. It will allow me to access my own system via VPN, but I’m not using it for general, mobile VPN solution.

More hassle than it’s worth

Causes more problems than it’s worth. Thought I was having problems with various WiFi networks and Apple CarPlay. Deleting this app fixed them all! Wish I could get a refund on the subscription

Netgear promoter application

I assumed it would integrate with my router and it would work smoothly. This prevents many applications to not work. For example, it blocks my Verizon app to not respond. Lots of no connections on other applications. Also. When I get home it prevents me from connecting to my Netgear Orbi router. I need to turn it off and turn on. Junk. Don’t waste your money.

Can’t access Disney +

You can’t access Disney + while using this VPN. That’s a deal breaker for me.

Will not work on Computers

After hours on the phone and emails to tech support, I learned today that if you buy this subscription from the Apple Store, your VPN will work only on iOS devices. Bitdefender will not give you the code to allow you to activate the VPN on your MacBook or other computer. I feel like I got ripped off. If I had bought the same subscription from Bitdefender using a computer, the subscription would cover all my devices. This limitation was never disclosed prior to the sale. Everything was “protect all your devices” and “total security “, but that was a lie. False advertising. Do not buy if you also want VPN for your computers.

Problems started today 6/12/22

All of a sudden having problems with sites that are even in the vpn bypass. Was a 5 star but will go down if issues persist.
