Good App, But Needs Improvement

It’s nice to make a panoramic iPhone photo into a multi slide and seamless on Instagram, but it has its flaws. Every time I click on the icon to open my photo album, my camera takes a photo of whatever I’m doing right now. Also, as I use an iPhone 11s Max, when my photo is ready to my liking, the done button on the lower right corner is way deep on the lower right, sometimes hard to tap to make it respond. It’s also helpful if the app would let me pick an album, such as all the panoramic photos so I don’t have to dig around to find it.

Updated with albums! Great app!

Previously strayed it was frustrating there was no way to add images from albums....i used to have to scroll through all the images to find the ones we need. ** update: developer fixed this issue! Awesome, thank you! :)

Works as advertised BUT...

Was able to successfully upload a panoramic photo I had on my phone onto Instagram, without a problem, BUT the quality was significantly affected. There is a significant loss of quality when using the app. If this was improved, then I will change this review to 5 stars. Till then, 4/5 stars

simple and perfect

I don’t normally leave reviews but I’ve been struggling to find a good app or website that will splice my photos up without a fee and wont destroying the quality of the image. This app is super fast and straightforward; within seconds, my photo was split into 4 separate good high quality pics and automatically saved to my phones library. I literally couldn’t be happier to have found unsqrd. Would recommend to any and everyone!!

Absolutely fantastic

EDITED 6/6/20: There is a glitch in the app. Whenever you open a picture, it takes a picture without your knowledge. It is then saved to your camera roll. I have turned off data for this app has been until this gets fixed and will give back 5 stars. ...I had been editing photos in Snapseed so that they could be put together to create a panoramic shot (with multiple images). It involved saving the image at least twice, depending on how many I wanted to use. Unsqrd absolutely killed all that work. You open the image, decide how many shots you want in the panoramic, and save. It's simple and works perfectly. In fact I'd pay for an ad-free version. Thank you for creating this app! It's amazing.

Perfect IG companion

Awesome app! Pretty much use every time I post. Helps my page look refreshing, and different from the rest. I have gotten a lot of compliments since I started using. I think an add in exchange to remove the watermark is a small price to pay, and worth it! Thank you!

Useless

Update: The new version supposedly supports albums, but clicking the album button shows only 7 albums and there is no way to navigate to any others. After canceling the album view, the screen is black and the photo button is disabled. When the app starts, you are dumped into the camera. If you tap the album button, you are dumped into what appears to be a non-standard photo selector that has no way to navigate to any album. This means if the photo you want to work on isn’t in the tiny random selection of images, you are out of luck. Totally useless.

The best app of its kind

The best app I have found for creating swipeable panorama photo posts on Instagram. It’s easy to use and has all of the features you would expect. The squared images are saved to your Photos app and you don’t need to give access to your Instagram account unlike other similar apps.

Water marks

I 👏do 👏 not 👏 want 👏 watermarks 👏 on 👏my 👏 insta 👏 gram👏This app is the best of its kind. Similar apps won't work quite right or just won't include the entire photo when dealing with panoramas, but unsqrd works perfectly, except one thing... this stupid advertisement in the corner. You aren't paying me for my Instagram, if your app was good enough (it would be) plenty of people would use it, so why are you so desperate for recognition from the 80 people that regularly like my posts? There's an option to get rid of the water mark if you watch a "video" that isn't even a video so you end up closing out of it and the water mark is still there. Either fix this nonsense or work on some other app

Works but…

Splices photos flawlessly, but doesn’t list imported photos in the Recents folder in proper order and doesn’t show the Favorites folder, and doesn’t show which/if a photo has been favorited. With all the blank screen real estate available you would think as a last resort it could show the filename of a selected photo but doesn’t do that either. So, if you’re looking for a particular panoramic photo you took with a professional camera, stitched together on your desktop, and just imported into Photos, which has 50,000 other photos to look through…good luck with that idea. Makes me think the developer’s got 5-10 photos on their phone lol. So long story short—if you take pics just with your iPhone this app probably works great. It if you import photos from another source my bet is this won’t prove to be a very satisfactory experience.
